Michael Lehmann Boddicker is a 50-year AFM member, synthesist, and Grammy Award-winning songwriter and composer.
He has negotiated multiple successful contracts in film, advertising and records for AFM nationally as both rank-and-file and also as RMA rep. Michael was named by Keyboard magazine as Best Studio Synthesist/Best Session Player three times, and Most Valuable Player four times. He was also named an Emeritus member by NARAS (the Grammys).
Michael has played on thousands of union film, TV, record and advertising projects, and owns music and sound design companies, recording/mix facilities, instrument rental companies. He composes major theatrical films, commercials, produces records, designs sounds and sound effects. He is the Founding/Managing Partner of Synthplex to be held October 2021 Burbank. Michael is a Board Member the Society of Composers & Lyricists (Chair of the Metadata Committee, Co-Producer of the SCL Awards), on the Advisory Board of the Bob Moog Foundation, and Chair of the Hollywood Sapphire Group.
Michael is married to AFM/SAG-AFTRA member Edie Lehmann Boddicker (25 years) with four children.
