Along with the rest of the main cast of Thunderbolts* (with one notable exception), Lewis Pullman is set to return for Avengers: Doomsday, and the actor has now teased Bob/Sentry's role in the next major Marvel Studios event movie.
Spoilers for Thunderbolts* follow.
At the end of the antihero team-up film, Bob joins his new allies as a member of The New Avengers, but he makes it very clear in the post-credits scene that he doesn't want to risk becoming the Sentry again in case the Void takes over.
During a new interview with Men's Health, Pullman revealed that his teammates are going to be keeping a very close eye on Bob in Doomsday, while also trying to figure out a way to harness the "power of a thousand exploding suns" without unleashing his inner darkness upon the world.

Marvel Studios recently rebranded Thunderbolts* as "The New Avengers," with a number of posters and billboards released displaying the new team name.
Though it was somewhat surprising that the studio decided to reveal the new title this quickly, the Avengers name carries a lot of weight, and the marketing play does seem to have paid off with a box office boost (how long it'll last remains to be seen). It's also worth noting that the movie's title hasn't been officially changed.
The Jake Schreier-directed antihero team-up flick is expected to hold on to the No. 1 spot in the U.S. this weekend, and is not likely to face much in the way of completion from any new releases.
Thunderbolts* had a reported production budget of $180 million (minus P&e), and should pass $260 million worldwide by Monday if estimates hold.
Another poster has now been released, this time paying homage to...

Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts* - or The New Avengers, if you prefer - is set to hit a major box office milestone at some point today.
As the 36th entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe enters its second weekend in theaters, it will become the fourth movie this year to pass $100 million domestically, joining A Minecraft Movie, Captain America: Brave New World, and Sinners.
The Jake Schreier-directed antihero team-up flick is expected to hold on to the No. 1 spot, and is not likely to face much in the way of completion from any of Friday's new releases - although Rlje/Shudder's Clown in a Cornfield is sure to draw in the horror crowds.
Thunderbolts* had a reported production budget of $180 million (minus P&e), so it still has a long way to go to turn a profit for the studio. The movie does seem to be benefitting from positive reviews and word of mouth,...

The Ballad of Wallis Island (James Griffiths)
You know when you hear a song and it transports you back to an era or a memory or a moment? It’s this involuntary mental reflex that can be marvelous, painful, or some combination of the two; all intensified by the emotion of the music that triggers it. This familiar phenomenon provides the backbeat for The Ballad of Wallis Island, a comedy that envelops you in its charm while plucking a serenade on your heartstrings. The film itself is an evocation of a memory for writers/stars Tim Key & Tom Basden and director James Griffiths––a feature shot in eighteen days based on a short film they made eighteen years ago. – Kent W. My introduction to David Mamet was 1997’s The Edge. I was ten-years-old at the time and the sharp writing and compelling performances coupled with a terrifying, blood-thirsty grizzly bear made for a unique combination that not only kept me entertained, but made me feel like I was watching an intellectual film meant for adults. Mamet — best known for his dialogue — uses the art of conversation in ways that few other writers can. In Henry Johnson — Mamet’s first directing effort since 2008’s Redbelt — conversation takes centerstage. Mamet proves once again that he’s a master of the written word, but perhaps some stories, Henry Johnson included, are best suited for the stage.
The plot
Henry Johnson is a successful business executive who finds himself behind bars after being sentenced to prison. Through various interactions and discussions with different people, Henry’s understanding of right and wrong are tested.

In September 2023, months into both the actors’ and writers’ strikes, something of a “happening” took shape at Venice Beach’s Electric Lodge, a multidisciplinary arts and community center that hosts everything from taekwondo classes to live performances. For a few weeks, the venue also played home to something increasingly rare: a new play from David Mamet.
Over the years, the controversial Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright has drawn ire for both his political leanings and the content of his work, both on stage and screen. The play, titled “Henry Johnson,” was viewed by some as a reaction to those reactions, by others as a timeless parable. Set across four scenes, the film (and play) follows Jonigkeit’s Henry, whose life is upended after he participates in a heinous crime, is sent to jail for his misdeeds, and struggles to find meaning in all of it.
No matter the takeaway, the play was a hit,...

In the build-up to Black Widow's release, fans were convinced that The Handmaid's Tale actor O-t Fagbenle would be unveiled as the man behind Taskmaster's mask, but it turned out that his character, Rick Mason, really was just the guy who sorted out Natasha Romanoff's (Scarlet Johansson) weapons and travel arrangements.
Towards the end of the movie, we learned that Taskmaster was actually Antonia Dreykov (Olga Kurylenko), who reprised the role for Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts*.
This new take on the villain wasn't exactly embraced by fans, who were hoping to see the original comic book incarnation of the character, Anthony "Tony" Masters. Now, Fagbenle has confirmed that Marvel was originally planning to introduce a male take on Taskmaster, and he auditioned for the role.
"Basically, I first auditioned for Taskmaster, and it was this, it was a really incredible speech, actually. It was an audition I was very proud of.

After a somewhat disappointing debut and the third-lowest first Monday in MCU history, Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts* has rebounded with a strong Tuesday haul of $7.5 million at the domestic box office.
Thanks to a 49% jump from Monday, the antihero team-up film now sits at $86.8 million in the US and $172.9 million worldwide on a reported production budget of $180 million (before marketing costs).
Earlier this week, Marvel began the process of rebranding the movie as The New Avengers. The marketing campaign is believed to have kicked off a little earlier than planned when the opening weekend numbers came in, but it sounds like it was always set to begin shortly after the movie hit the big screen.
“It felt like, if Val is also trying to pull a switcheroo and sell the New Avengers to the world, we could do that, too,” director Jake Schreier explained to The New York Times in a recent interview.

Though Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts* goes to some pretty dark places in its third act, the movie has its fair share of signature MCU humor, but the inclusion of one comedic moment in particular did not sit well with Sebastian Stan - at least, not at first.
Yes, as you probably already guessed, it's the Vibranium arm in the dishwasher scene.
While speaking to EW, Stan explained that he just didn't find Bucky Barnes sticking his arm in the dishwasher after dripping mustard on it to be a particularly amusing sight gag.
"I immediately said to Jake, 'I don't understand why this is funny. You do not need this. This is silly,'" Stan tells the site. "But Jake was like, 'But maybe you could be eating something and then it can just go everywhere.' And I go, 'Really? That's what's going to [happen]?'"

2025 has been one of the weaker years for the film industry as high-budget films like Captain America: Brave New World and Snow White have failed at both impressing the audience and at the box office. While David Mamet is celebrated for the potent lucidity of his dialogue and his clear-eyed portrayals of deceit and manipulation, successful film adaptations of his writing also tend to benefit from some kind of conventional genre glaze. Homicide, his most assured work as a director, staged its complex exploration of identity and racial resentment as a tight, propulsive crime thriller, while James Foley helped make an entertaining hustle-culture drama from Glengarry Glen Ross’s precise dissection of capitalism and masculinity.
With Henry Johnson, no such formal leavening is present. This is the first film that Mamet has directed based on one of his own plays since 1994’s Oleanna, and it’s similarly straightforward in terms of translating the material’s elaborate plot machinations to the screen. The eponymous character (Evan Jonigkeit) is an employee at an unspecified corporate business whose job is threatened when he decides to carry out a...

There has been talk of the original line-up of Earth's Mightiest Heroes appearing in Avengers: Doomsday and/or Avengers: Secret Wars since shortly after the projects were officially announced, but of the six characters who made up the team that assembled in the first Avengers movie, Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff always seemed the least likely to return.
Romanoff was killed off in Avengers: Endgame when she sacrificed herself so that Clint Barton could acquire the Soul Stone, and although the former assassin did return for a solo Black Widow prequel movie, Johansson has claimed to be done with the character on a number of occasions.
Even so, rumors persist that the Jurassic World Rebirth star will be back as Black Widow for the upcoming Avengers films, potentially joining the likes of Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans as "evil" variants of their original characters. Johansson wasn't part of the initial Doomsday cast reveal,...

The big reveal that the asterisk that was added to the Thunderbolts* title shortly after the release of the first trailer referred to "The New Avengers" probably didn't come as a shock to many here on Cbm, but it would have been a surprise for general audiences who haven't been keeping up with rumors relating to the movie.
For this reason, the decision to officially rebrand the movie as The New Avengers just three days after its theatrical release was seen as a bit of a head-scratcher.
Some believe the marketing campaign kicked off a little earlier than planned when the opening weekend box office numbers came in, but it sounds like it was always set to begin shortly after the movie hit the big screen.

Today, just three days after the movie was released in theaters, Marvel Studios began the process of rebranding Thunderbolts* as The New Avengers via a series of posters, BTS promotional videos featuring the cast, and outdoor adverts.
Now, we have a trailer - the first released under the new title - featuring some new footage along with more quotes from critics.
So, is Thunderbolts* now officially known as The New Avengers? Not exactly. The movie's title hasn't actually been changed, rather the studio is simply spelling out the asterisk as a marketing ploy.
It sounds like the marketing department may have launched the campaign slightly earlier than planned in the wake of the film opening to $74M (instead of the reported $76M) after an estimated $18M Sunday, -27% from Saturday’s $24.5M. The latest Marvel Studios big-screen release, Thunderbolts*, arrived in theates on Friday, and we want to know what you made of the antihero team-up film.
The Cbm community wasn't too impressed by Captain America: Brave New World, but Thunderbolts* seems to have gone over quite a bit better. The movie has certainly been better received by critics, and currently sits at 88% on Rotten Tomatoes.
General audiences also seem to have embraced Thunderbolts* for the most part, although the next couple of weeks will be telling.
The movie took in $76 million (just ahead of expectations) in the U.S. and $86.1 million overseas this weekend for a global start of $162.1 million. Exclusive: Shia Labeouf is set to star in God of the Rodeo, with Giannina Scott producing through her Cara Films banner and Ridley Scott and Michael Pruss producing through Scott Free Films. The crime thriller was written and directed by Rosalind Ross and is based on the reporting of Daniel Bergner inside the deadliest prison in the American South.
Set against the brutal backdrop of Louisiana’s Angola Prison in 1967, God of the Rodeo tells the story of Buckkey, a hardened inmate serving a life sentence who finds a glimmer of redemption in an unlikely opportunity: the prison’s first-ever inmate rodeo. As Buckkey and his fellow inmates prepare for a last grasp at glory, they’re confronted with the reality that the rodeo is nothing more than a gladiatorial showcase — a grueling fight for survival designed to satiate the public’s bloodlust and fulfill the warden’s delusion of godliness.

The abyss stares back––that’s the overwhelming feeling of David Mamet’s new film Henry Johnson. It’s based on his play of the same name from 2023, and with both that date and Mamet’s recent public persona, one would probably have some assumptions about this story’s political bent. Watching the film, you’re reminded that we can come to some kind of mutual understanding with those on the other side.
Comprising essentially four scenes in three locations, Henry Johnson has theatrical origins that are always clear but never distracting. The titular character is portrayed by Evan Jonigkeit––Mamet’s real-life son-in-law, who, wearing similar glasses, suggests something of an onscreen avatar that might be revealing of the theater world tough guy’s actual persona. Across the film, Henry is put through three confrontations: a boss (Chris Bauer), a cellmate (Shia Labeouf), and a prison guard (Dominic Hoffman...

When word got out that Geraldine Viswanathan's Thunderbolts* character was named Mel, fans immediately began to speculate that she must be Melissa Gold, aka Songbird, but the movie doesn't really lay any groundwork for Val's assistant to suit-up down the line... or so we thought.
During a new interview, Thunderbolts* producer Brian Chapek points to an "emblem" Mel wears that could indicate that she will eventually become the super-powered Songbird.
“There is a character that fans are trying to figure out is she or is she not — I would say what emblem does she wear that may or may not hint at this character’s larger identity.”
Sure enough, eagle-eyed fans have noticed that Mel is wearing what looks a lot like a songbird pin in at least one scene.

Thunderbolts* has only been in theaters a few days, but Marvel Studios has wasted very little time in revealing the meaning of that hotly-debated asterisk by rebranding the movie in official marketing materials.
Spoilers follow.
At the end of the movie, the Thunderbolts regroup after successfully preventing Bob from unleashing the darkness of "The Void" (a group hug works wonders), and approach Val to apprehend her (with a few broken bones if Red Guardian gets his way).
The ever resourceful CIA Director has formulated a plan to keep herself out of prison, however, and the team follows her right into a press conference she has arranged in order to introduce the New Avengers to the world. The group decides to play along, and the post-credits scene reveals that they have been operating as the New Avengers for over a year.
As you can see from the billboard in the photo below,...

Charley Scalies, the Philadelphia-bred character actor who portrayed the stevedore and union guy Thomas “Horseface” Pakusa on the second season of The Wire and Tony’s high school football coach in a dream sequence on The Sopranos, has died. He was 84.
Scalies died Thursday in a nursing facility in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s, his daughter Anne Marie Scalies told The Hollywood Reporter.
Scalies appeared on all 12 episodes of HBO’s The Wire during its second season in 2003 as Horseface, an incarcerated former Ibs Local 1514 longshoreman from the Port of Baltimore who’s devoted to his crooked boss, Frank Sobotka (Chris Bauer).
“As with all the other characters I’ve been blessed to portray, Horseface lives inside of me,” he said in a 2019 interview. “I invite him out to play as needed.”

Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts* arrived in theaters on Friday, and the movie has claimed the No. 1 spot at the box office with solid domestic and international debuts.
The antihero team-up flick took in an estimated $76 million (just ahead of expectations) in the U.S. and $86.1 million overseas for a global start of $162.1 million. Thunderbolts* has a reported production budget of $180 million (not counting marketing costs).
This is below Captain America: Brave New World's $180 million worldwide opening, but Thunderbolts* will likely benefit more from positive word of mouth going forward. The movie received much better reviews than Sam Wilson's first big-screen outing as Cap, and currently sits at 88% on Rotten Tomatoes with a 94% audience score.
Certainly not a bad result for a movie featuring a group of B (and C) list characters, but Thunderbolts* will still have its work cut out to turn a profit for Marvel/Disney.
#Thunderbolts opens at #1 this wknd with $76M.

We probably won't have too much longer to wait for Marvel Studios to release some official promo stills of Lewis Pullman suited-up as Sentry in Thunderbolts*, but for now, we do have some more behind-the-scenes shots of the Top Gun: Maverick actor in full costume as the Golden Guardian.
The photos were shared by director Jake Schreier and makeup artist Lane Friedman (click here to see the latter).
Though his action sequence with the other main characters is one of the most memorable parts of the movie, Pullman only wears the costume for a couple of scenes, as he is taken over by the shadowy entity known as "The Void" when Val's assistant Mel hits a kill switch that is supposed to put him down for good.
We're sure "Bob" will don the suit (or a new one) again in Avengers: Doomsday, but he might decide against the blonde dye-job!

Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts* features one of the most eventful and intriguing post-credits scenes we've seen in any MCU release in quite a while, but the sequence wasn't actually helmed by the movie's director.
Spoilers follow.
Just over a year after the events of the film, we see the team - now officially known as the New Avengers - returning to the Watchtower (Val's repurposed Avengers Tower). We then learn that Sam Wilson, aka the new Captain America, has filed to copyright the name "Avengers," and has had a bit of a falling out with Bucky Barnes about it.
As the team bickers, it's revealed that an unidentified interdimensional ship has entered the Earth's atmosphere, and the big blue "4" on the side of the craft leaves little doubt as to the identities of the crew.
During an interview with ComicCook.com, director Jake Schreier said: “I was there when it was filmed.

Marvel Studios has yet to share an official image of Sentry in-costume, but we do have a (very) brief glimpse of Lewis Pullman suited-up as the Golden Guardian via some new behind-the-scenes Thunderbolts* footage.
The clip is literally only a second or two long, but this does count as our first non-leaked look at the Top Gun: Maverick actor with his blond locks and comic book-inspired outfit.
Pullman only wears the costume for a few scenes in the movie, as he is taken over by his shadowy entity known as "The Void" when Val's assistant Mel hits a kill switch that was supposed to put him down for good.
Thunderbolts* is expected to claim the No. 1 spot at the domestic box office this weekend with a $31.5 million gross across Friday and preview screenings from 4,330 theaters. This puts the antihero team-up film on track for a $70 million and $75 million debut. Not a terrible start,...

There was some disappointment when the characters that would make up the team in Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts* were announced (many felt that the super soldier-heavy roster simply didn't feature enough variety), but director Jake Schreier recently revealed that he did originally want to shake things up by adding Man-Thing to the mix.
In a new interview with The Wrap, the filmmaker explains that "Ted" was off-limits due to his appearance in the Werewolf By Night Special Presentation, but a later draft of the Thunderbolts* script introduced Sentry, which more than made up for the lack of a swamp monster.
“I never thought about Man-Thing again,” Schreier admits. “There was so many avenues to go down. That felt like the team was locked at that point.”
Though Thunderbolts* is never particularly graphic, the story does go to dome dark places in its exploration of the crippling effects of depression. Even so,...

When the marketing for Thunderbolts* began to kick in, it became pretty clear that Black Widow baddie Antonia Dreykov, aka Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), wasn't being featured in the various trailers, promos and TV spots nearly as much as her teammates.
Fans began to speculate that the character would be killed off, which Marvel all-but confirmed when it was announced that every other main cast member aside from Kurylenko would be back for Avengers: Doomsday.
There were theories that this might be some kind of deliberate swerve to keep a specific plot point relating to Taskmaster under wraps, but no, Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) takes Dreykov out with a headshot less than five minutes after she's introduced.
Though Thunderbolts* does have quite a bit in common with DC's Suicide Squad as far as the overall premise and set-up goes, it really isn't a "don't get too attached" type movie, so the decision...

Thunderbolts* North America Box Office: Opening Weekend Projection(Photo Credit –Facebook)
Marvel Studios Thunderbolts* is garnering positive reviews so far at the cinemas. However, the results will be known when the opening weekend numbers are out. For now, it is aiming for a lower opening than Captain America: Brave New World. That is not a concern yet; it might pick up in the upcoming weeks. For now, it is looking at a lower release day than Florence Pugh’s debut MCU movie, Black Widow. Keep scrolling for the deets.
The movie has received excellent ratings on the aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes. The critics gave it 88%, saying, “Assembling a ragtag band of underdogs with Florence Pugh as their magnetic standout, it refreshingly returns to the tried-and-true blueprint of the MCU’s best adventures.” The audience is also enjoying the MCU flick as they gave it a stronger 95% on the site. 'Thunderbolts*' Post-Credit Scene Was Directed By 'Avengers: Doomsday' Directors, the Russo Brothers

Warning: This article contains spoilers for Thunderbolts*
Thunderbolts* director Jake Schreier has revealed that there was one big moment in Marvel’s newest release where he was not behind the camera, as the scene was not even part of the original production. That is, of course, the post-credits scene, which has been revealed in several social media posts to have a direct connection to Avengers: Doomsday, as it seems likely that directing duties were taken over by Joe and Anthony Russo.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has delivered one of its best movies in Thunderbolts*, but all eyes are starting to turn towards what comes next – the ending of the Multiverse Saga. This means that the film ends with a post-credits scene is a direct lead into the events of the next Avengers movie. According to Schreier, though, the footage seen in cinemas this weekend was not directed by him, although he was on set,...

The MCU is getting back on track with Thunderbolts* as not only has the newest addition to Marvel’s ever-expanding family managed to please critics – something of a marvel in itself – the film has now landed one of the highest ever MCU audience scores on Rotten Tomatoes.
Following its preview showing on May 1, the film quickly racked up a lot of praise from those fans who still have to see the latest movie before anyone else. Despite complaints of superhero fatigue and some less than impressive reviews and financial results for most of their previous movies, Thunderbolts* is setting things right with a strong opening weekend expected, and a leading 95% Rotten Tomatoes audience score.
This currently makes the film joint-third with Spider-Man: Far From Home, and just behind the 98% audience scores of Spider-Man: No Way Home and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

David Mamet has been a celebrated playwright for half a century, and there are so many themes and obsessions and modes and rhythms and tics running through his work that it’s easy to survey it all and simply categorize it as “Mametesque.” The continuity is there.
Yet when I look at the chronology of Mamet’s career, I’m struck by a huge and overwhelming schism — one that’s tonal, philosophical, stylistic and defining of his identity. In the plays that put him on the map, like “American Buffalo” and “Sexual Perversity in Chicago,” he was trying to approximate the ways ordinary people talk, which is why the words came out in a jagged profane half-articulate sputter, the characters stepping on each other’s percussive thoughts. It all culminated in Mamet’s 1983 masterpiece, “Glengarry Glen Ross,” a timeless celebration/indictment of small-time con-artist salesmen that turned the deceptive language of hustlers into crookback poetry.

Spoilers follow.
The first will likely be considered the film's standout action sequence, as the team bands together in an effort to defeat the now fully powered and suited-up Sentry (Lewis Pullman), who has fallen under CIA director Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) influence.

Next, the Thunderbolts regroup after managing to prevent Bob from unleashing the darkness of "The Void" (a group hug works wonders), and approach Val to apprehend her (with a few broken bones if Red Guardian gets his way). The ever wily CIA Director has formulated...

On May 1st, Marvel unveils its highly anticipated 36th film, ‘Thunderbolts*,’ a striking addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe that delves deep into the complexities of mental health. The film offers an empathetic exploration of how individuals grappling with mental health issues often encounter misunderstanding and stigma, highlighting the shadows that can cloud human experience.
The story centres around a unique ensemble of indie veterans who have compromised their ideals for notoriety. It features a refreshingly irreverent team-up led by the brooding assassin Yelena Belova. Together, this unlikely crew of misfits—initially the least anticipated characters in the MCU—brings a captivating dynamic to the screen, navigating their own struggles while confronting the darker aspects of their identities.

Filmed theater has its merits, the primary one being accessibility, but it seldom comes even close to matching the proximal experience of being there. Which makes David Mamet’s compelling screen version of his latest play, Henry Johnson, a curious anomaly. Rather than attempting to open out this characteristically talky, structurally stagey drama — four two-character scenes threaded together by narrative ellipses — the writer-director fully embraces the theatricality of the work. Reassembling the excellent cast from the low-profile 2023 premiere in Los Angeles, Mamet reels us in with some of his most trenchant writing in years.
To be clear, this is an actual movie, not to be confused with a live-capture quickie, in which cameras record a performance on stage. Real sets — a law firm office, a prison cell, the library at the same incarceration facility — replace a stripped-down, intimate staging in a black-box space. Beyond that, few concessions appear to have...

And with “Henry Johnson,” his first film in 10 years, he invites his devotees to look under the hood and examine the psyche of one of the weak, easily manipulated individuals that his most memorable characters spend their lives exploiting.
Adapted from his play of the same name, which premiered in Los Angeles in 2023 before mounting a Chicago production this spring, “Henry Johnson” unfolds over the course of four two-handed scenes. Like any Mamet endeavor, the real star is the language. Major plot events happen almost entirely offscreen, with its ensemble of characters using them as jumping off points to soliloquize about everything from the value of therapy to Snow White’s vagina. Everyone has preconceived opinions about his writing style, but Mamet puts it to use,...

Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts* arrives in theaters this weekend, and the movie looks set to exceed box office expectations with an impressive global debut.
The most recent estimates predicted a $63 million - $73 million domestic bow, but THR is now reporting that it will likely be closer to $70 million to $75 million, and could climb as high as $175 million worldwide on a production budget of $180 million (before marketing costs).
It obviously remains to be seen how well the movie holds up over the next few weeks, but strong reviews certainly won't hurt. The embargo lifted earlier today, and Thunderbolts* is now certified fresh with 87% on Rotten Tomatoes based on 103 reviews.
This score will most likely fluctuate as more verdicts are added (it's already dropped from 93%), but positive word of mouth is sure to play a factor. Despite some dark themes, Thunderbolts* should be a real crowd pleaser.
We should have a review up at some point tomorrow.

New Thunderbolts* Clip Released As Taskmaster Actress Olga Kurylenko Shows Up To Premiere - Spoilers

A new clip from Thunderbolts* debuted during the cast's spot on the Jimmy Kimmel show, and it features a couple of fun "bonding" moments between members of the team, as Yelena teases Walker about his Captain America-style helmet, and Red Guardian asks Bucky about the type of super soldier serum he was given.
Marvel Studios held the North American premiere of the movie in LA last night, and Olga Kurylenko (Taskmaster) walked the red carpet with her cast-mates after being absent from all previous appearances and declining to do any promotion for the film up to this point.
Spoilers follow.
Though Marvel didn't exactly make much of an effort to keep this under wraps, Antonia Dreykov/Taskmaster is killed off pretty early on in Thunderbolts*. This led to speculation that Kurylenko may have had a falling out with the studio about her the size of her role being reduced...

We're now less than a week away from the release of the latest MCU movie, Thunderbolts*, and Marvel Studios has shared a new TV spot highlighting some of the praise that's been heaped upon the film since the social media embargo lifted, along with some new footage.
The teaser begins with an extended look at Bob (Lewis Pullman) taking fire from a heavily armed force, before hovering off the ground for a moment and blasting into the sky.
The marketing has only shown Bob's costumed alter-ego, Sentry/The Void, in silhouette, and at this stage, it doesn't look like there's going to be a big reveal prior to the movie hitting theaters.
Thunderbolts* received glowing social media reactions, but we should get a slightly more balanced consensus on the movie when the full review embargo lifts tomorrow, so be sure to drop back for our coverage.
