At the recent Silver Scream Con, I was surprised to hear Hellraiser star Doug Bradley remark, “The only one in the series I feel doesn’t work is Inferno, for various reasons.” I had always considered the 2000 effort one of the franchise’s stronger offerings, but it had been a while since I revisited the series, so I thought it may not hold up as well as I remembered.

As I’m working my way through the series ahead of David Bruckner‘s reboot, which drops October 7 on Hulu, I can confirm my support for the fifth installment. I have no doubt that Bradley has his reasons for disliking the film – it being the first installment to be released straight to video no doubt required adjustments, not to mention his minuscule screen time as Pinhead – but, even with its shortcomings, I think Hellraiser: Inferno is better than he gives it credit for.

Yeah that’s right, I said not that funny. I saw the first and didn’t really laugh, I skipped the second because I heard it was awful and wasn’t invited to watch it for free and I didn’t really laugh at this third outing. That’s not to say I didn’t find the film fairly watchable and inoffensive – it provided a similar level enjoyment to finding that the cup of tea you forgot about hasn’t gotten as quite cold as you expected it to.

We’ve got less than a week to go before the Wolfpack returns to our screens for one final outing in The Hangover Part III, and I can’t wait for next Thursday to come around.

This is one I’ve been looking forward to for a while now, largely because Todd Phillips and co. have promised that this final instalment in the franchise will be an all-bets-are-off affair, breaking from the formula set by the first two movies.

Justin Bartha looks pretty sad in this latest addition from the eagerly-anticipated Warner Bros. Pictures third part in the comedic uber-franchise helmed by Todd Phillips. It took them long enough. Bartha's character, who looks as if he's saying "It's about time" here, has always had very little limelight compared to the main three of Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms. Warner Bros. has released yet another character poster for The Hangover Part III with mad man Mr. Chow. This guy has always been nothing but trouble for The Wolfpack, but they can't escape him. I love the tag line on the poster though that says, "We're Gonna Die Finally."

Heather Graham's Jade and her son "Carlos" are the latest characters from The Hangover Part III to get their own poster! It will be interesting to see how big of a role these characters will play in this final chapter of the story.

I don't know how big of a part Alan's pet giraffe plays in The Hangover Part III before it meets its unfortunate demise, but the animal ended up getting it's own character poster. I've also included a new TV spot for the film with some funny new footage.
