Deadline reports that Apple TV+ has cancelled Constellation after one season. The sci-fi psychological thriller series starred Noomi Rapace as an astronaut who returns to Earth after a disaster in space, only to find that key pieces of her life seem to be missing.
The first season of Constellation wrapped up its eight-episode run in March, and unfortunately for fans, it sounds like there are quite a number of plot threads left hanging now that the series has been cancelled.
Along with Rapace, Constellation also stars Jonathan Banks, James D’Arcy, Julian Looman, William Catlett, Barbara Sukowa and Rosie and Davina Coleman. The show, which was created and written by Peter Harness, dealt with “one woman’s desperate quest to expose the truth about the hidden history of space travel and for her to recover all that she has lost.“

We promise that this Better Call Saul list is all good, man.
First introduced late in Season 2 of Breaking Bad, Bob Odenkirk’s sleazy criminal lawyer extraordinaire, Saul Goodman, immediately became a scene-stealing fan favorite — and then grabbed the spotlight again in Better Call Saul when it premiered in 2015. Co-created by Breaking Bad mastermind Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould (the writer-director of Saul’s first Bad appearance), Better Call Saul serves as both a prequel and sequel to its predecessor. The series covers the years before the man known as Jimmy McGill becomes Saul Goodman, and, ultimately, Omaha Cinnabon manager Gene Takavic, the identity he takes on following the events of Breaking Bad.
Better Call Saul starts off as more of a courtroom and family drama, but the eventual emergence of Breaking Bad power players like Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks) and Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) help raise the stakes...

“Obviously, it was a fairly big ask,” declares visual effects supervisor Doug Larmour about the outrageously complicated visual effects deployed in the big budget Apple TV+ sci-fi thriller “Constellation.” For our recent webchat he adds, “Having worked in a few space projects before and knowing that there’s a solution for zero gravity. You build sets with take-off rooms and ceilings, and you build a wind system and a flying system with some really good special effects people. You get a whole lot of wonderful people to remove all your wires for you. And then you in terms of floating objects, it’s C.G.” Watch our exclusive video interview above.

It had been a minute since Anna Gunn felt the anticipation of an intriguing script hitting her inbox. Understandably, the incomparable writing she received for a combined decade on Deadwood and Breaking Bad set a high bar. But then the Colin Farrell-led Apple TV+ series Sugar came along.
Created by Mark Protosevich and executive produced by Audrey Chon/Simon Kinberg, the neo-noir show ended up being one of a couple recent Breaking Bad reunions for Gunn. Co-heads of Apple TV+ programming, Jamie Erlicht and Zack Van Amburg, served as presidents at Sony Pictures Television when Vince Gilligan walked through their doors with his Breaking Bad pilot script, and on top of having a hand in Gunn joining Sugar, the two executives have been busy recruiting their former Breaking Bad collaborators to their acclaimed streamer, including Gilligan and his still-untitled upcoming series; Jonathan Banks and director-ep Michelle MacLaren for Constellation...

With just two episodes left in the season — and coming out of last week’s eye-opening “Paul Is Dead” installment — Apple TV+’s Constellation sci-fi thriller this Wednesday will shed even more light on why exactly astronaut Jo Ericsson (played by Noomi Rapace) has been so damn puzzled by the life she returned to following a deadly Iss mission.
Last week’s aforementioned “Paul Is Dead” episode focused on William Catlett’s character, revealing that in one reality Paul Lancaster actually survived the incident aboard the International Space Station, though Jo did not. That Paul similarly returned to a “home...

Warning: contains spoilers for Constellation episode four.
Nothing is wasted in Apple TV+ Constellation. Its story of an astronaut coming back from space a changed woman is a sci-fi puzzle that viewers are invited to solve, and clues to its mysteries are everywhere: in apparently trivial details, in paintings hanging on walls, in the title of a children’s book… and even in the silliest gag.
In episode four, recently returned astronaut Johanna Eriksson (Noomi Rapace) tries to assimilate back into life on Earth. Her husband Magnus and daughter Alice surprise her with a combined birthday and Christmas party, to catch up with the celebrations she missed while on her International Space Station mission. As part of the dinner, the English-Swedish family pull Christmas crackers and groan at the cheesy jokes they contain. Magnus reads:
“The Spanish fireman has two sons. What are they called? José and Hose B.”

‘Breaking Bad’ Stars Playfully Bicker While Presenting SAG Drama Ensemble Award to ‘Succession’ Cast
The stars of Breaking Bad gathered Saturday for a profanity-laden reunion to present the trophy for best drama series ensemble to the cast of Succession at the 2024 SAG Awards.

This accident claims her teammate’s life, and following the incident, several strange events begin to torment Joe. In this series, we will see Joe on his quest to uncover the hidden truth about her space travel and find out what caused her to undergo such drastic psychological changes after returning home. Constellation is a brand new series launching on Apple TV+, and to mark the occasion we spoke to several of the talents involved in bringing this thought-provoking sci-fi thriller to our screens. To begin we spoke to the duo that is Noomi Rapace and Jonathan Banks, which allowed for us to *finally* ask the latter if he used Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh as a reference point for his depiction of Mike in Breaking Bad.
We also spoke to both James D’Arcy and William Catlett as they speak fondly of their former teachers, both in education and in their careers, with special nods to those who have set them on the path they’re on today. And finally we get into deep conversation with those behind the lens, speaking to both Peter Harness and Michelle MacLaren, as we talk about the parallels between creating art and being on a film or TV set,...

The new Apple TV+ series “Constellation” is a space drama, a category in which its deep-pocketed platform has developed something of a preoccupation. But the show also exemplifies a type of series so recognizable it’s become practically a genre unto itself: a story that calls for the concision of a feature film that’s been stretched out to fill a TV-sized number of episodes.
“Constellation” stars Noomi Rapace as Jo Ericsson, an astronaut who survives a deadly collision at the International Space Station — only to experience disturbing visions back on Earth. The what/why/how of Jo’s experience in orbit could make for a gripping mystery, but creator and sole screenwriter Peter Harness stretches these questions over eight hours, killing their momentum and stretching the show’s worthwhile elements far too thin.

Astronauts come back different. Leaving Earth’s atmosphere and seeing our planet from a distance is a perspective-altering experience. There’s even a name for it, as coined by writer Frank White in the title of his 1987 non-fiction book The Overview Effect: Space Exploration and Human Evolution.
White interviewed astronauts who reported feeling transcendent awe at the sight of Earth outlined against the backdrop of the cosmos. Some described the feeling as religious, others called it a deep sense of empathy for the planet and its inhabitants, others found it such a paradigm shift that it was extremely difficult to reintegrate into life on Earth – as if they, or the planet, had irretrievably changed.

Plot: An astronaut who returns to Earth after a disaster in space only to discover that key pieces of her life seem to be missing. The action-packed space adventure is an exploration of the dark edges of human psychology, and one woman’s desperate quest to expose the truth about the hidden history of space travel and recover all that she has lost.
Review: Man, the International Space Station is getting trashed lately. For years, films like Gravity and The Cloverfield Paradox as well as countless others have used the station as the setting for disaster, but this year alone has had more than one project featuring it. First, the horror film I.S.S. made the triumphant existence of a joint space station a thing of terror and now Constellation fills viewers with a sense of foreboding surrounding the orbiting satellite. The resulting series is a psychological thriller that combines elements of horror,...

One of the very first sounds of Apple TV+’s Constellation is a woman’s terrified voice on a cassette tape, insisting in Russian that “the world is the wrong way around.” As statements go, it’s completely impenetrable — what does that mean? — an only more upsetting for it. It is, in short, the perfect way to set the tone for a series that, if nothing else, excels at tapping into the uncanny.
Over the season’s eight hour-long episodes, time goes missing, reflections refuse to do as they’re told, the dead return to life and then vanish again. It’s no wonder astronaut Jo Ericsson (Noomi Rapace) feels so unmoored from the Earth that she’s returned to — and for a while, Constellation runs on the sheer unsettling thrill of watching Jo try to puzzle out what’s really going on. But vibes only go so far when satisfying answers aren’t forthcoming,...

There are certain television shows that people within the entertainment industry all watch and admire, and one of those shows was Better Call Saul, the celebrated prequel-sequel to the almighty Breaking Bad. Fanatic Feed: Razzie Nominations Revealed, Constellation, Ripley, Apples Never Fall All Get Trailers
It's a big day for highly anticipated new streaming series, two of which just released their first trailers.
First, we have Constellation, the AppleTV sci-fi thriller starring Noomi Rapace and Jonathan Banks.
Rapace plays an astronaut who returns to Earth after a stint on a space station and finds that her life has changed in a number of small, subtle ways.
In his best world-weary "go home, Walter" voice, Banks explains that astronauts have a tendency to become "unstuck" after spending too much time in space.
What does that mean, exactly?
Well, we guess we'll have to watch the spacy drama unfold to find out!
It's tough to discern much about the plot from the trailer, but it looks like the series will enter supernatural horror territory as it progresses.
There's some weirdness involving Rapace's daughter, and the trailer delivers some genuinely spine-tingling creepy kid moments.
It also has lots...
