(2005) Stepped into the role of "Count Fosco" in Andrew Lloyd Webber's new musical, "The Woman in White", when Michael Crawford left, due to illness. February - April 2005.

September 2005 -- Made his New York City Opera Debut as Reginald Bunthorne in a New York City Opera Production of Gilbert and Sullivan's Patience.

(November 2005 to February 2006): Played "Count Fosco" in "The Woman in White", a musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber, David Zippel and Charlotte Jones, based on the novel by Wilkie Collins (Marquis Theater, New York City, New York, USA).

June-July 2007; Plays The Poet/Haj in the English National Orchestra production of Kismet.

(August 2007) Participated in Bryn Terfel's Faenol Festival on August 26; made his Promenade Concert debut with his own Proms concert on August 27.

October 2007: Released his 20th CD, titled "Back to Bacharach."

October 30 2007 - Originated the role of Edna Turnblad in the London Musical Production of Hairspray.

(1985) He played "Marius" in Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg's musical, "Les Miserables", at the Palace Theatre in London, England with Roger Allam (played "Javert"), Alun Armstrong (played "Thenardier"), David Burt (played "Enjolras"), Rebecca Caine (played "Cosette"), Beverley Klein (played "Crone"), Paul Leonard (played "Combeferre"), Patti LuPone (played "Fantine"), Peter Polycarpou (played "Prouvaire"), Frances Ruffelle (played "Eponine"), Susan Jane Tanner (played "Madame Thenardier"), Colm Wilkinson (played "Jean Valjean") and Dave Willets (played "Brujon") in the original London cast. Trevor Nunn and John Caird were the directors.
