Megan Mullally has confirmed that the Party Down movie is a go, and that she will be a part of it when it starts shooting late spring. The entire cast is expected back with the possible exception of Jane Lynch.
At the winter TCAs, Fox confirmed that while the seniors are graduating on Glee, there will not be a spin-off, and all the characters will be returning next year. “There will not be a Glee spinoff,” Reilly continued, “but those characters will graduate and it’s led to a very interesting idea that I think is going to really give us something cool to dig into next season.”
The same briefing finally officially stuck a stake in the heart of Allen Gregory.
Plus, Fox is starting up a digital department similar to Adult Swim, staffed by former Adult Swim executives, to create adult animated content for their late-night Saturday block...

Of Nerdists and Muppets, Broadway is booming, Carol Burnett is a goddess, plus Ken Paves shows why men don't wax (we're wimps).
Next month Reichen Lehmkuhl takes the stage in My Big Gay Italian Wedding, and we’ve just learned that a portion of every ticket sold will be going to Broadway Impact for marriage equality. Plus, Reichen isn’t terrible to look at.
TruTV has announced a development slate, and a few caught my eye. Rogue Society is a hidden camera show dedicated to exposing bigots, jerks and scammers through pranks. The Naked Office is a therapy show, but fairly literal to the title, and Exposed is from Ashton Kutcher, and involves public nudity as a social experiment.
We all know my disdain for the board game movies (except Candyland), so you’ll forgive my cynicism about Ridley Scott saying that Monopoly will be all about greed. All you...

Allow me to take a moment to do my Happy Dance, because my state legislature managed to defeat a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage yesterday. So much for us being a bunch of “bigoted a-holes” and “toothless wonders.” I still can’t get married, but it’s better than a lot of states.
One more political piece – out Rep. Jared Polis has a bill to help prevent anti-gay bullying in schools. Fox news took a “fair and balanced” look, and while they never come out and say it’s bad, they only talk to people who say it is. Plus, as the boss pointed out, the picture they used makes it seem like To Catch A Predator host Chris Hansen. should be walking into the frame.
I don’t know what to make of the latest casting decision from Vampire Diaries – it’s another hot guy, which I like. But...

Britain's Queen Elizabeth has been immortalised in 10,000 jelly beans. A mosaic of the 83-year-old monarch was created by the sweet firm and it is now on display at old fashioned confectionary store Fizziwig's in Brighton, UK. Owner Nick Adam told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "It's fantastic. Everyone who walks by looks at it. It's made up of 10,000 beans, all of them real but they have been covered in lacquer. People have been amazed by it and 'awesome' is probably the word people use most." Nick also credits the portrait with helping his business become a success because everyone is desperate to see it once they hear about it. He added: "We've been doing really well considering we opened...

I spend so much time writing about homophobic NFL players and homophobic NBA players that I don't know what to do with gay-supportive NHL players. First we had a retired player write an editorial in USA Today wishing he'd done more to combat homophobia. Now we have Brendan Burke, son of hockey legend Brian Burke, coming out to his family, and his college team, and finding nothing but support.
It's not enough that The Daily Show is the best advocate we have on television, they have to go and make it even easier to love them,...
