The 65-year-old actress revisited a past comment that she made about the “SexyBack” singer’s manhood on a recent interview with Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.

Banks described their immediate rapport as instinctive. “It was very natural,” she said, joking, “I just started sh*tting on you pretty quickly, and then you took it, and then you gave it back a little. And then we just were like, ‘This is what it’s supposed to be.’”

The series is based on Alafair Burke’s novel and centers on Chloe (Biel), a high-achieving professional whose life is upended by the murder of her husband, Adam (Corey Stoll). While caring for Adam’s teenage son Ethan (Maxwell Acee Donovan), Chloe must navigate the return of her estranged sister Nicky (Banks), a recovering addict who is Ethan’s birth mother and Adam’s ex-wife.

When Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks signed on to play siblings in Prime Video’s limited series The Better Sister, they felt an immediate familial-level connection.

An amendment to the constitution passed on Monday by the Hungarian parliament codifies a law passed in March that made it an offense to hold or attend events that violate Hungary’s “child protection” legislation, which prohibits the “depiction or promotion” of homosexuality to minors under 18.

The Hungarian government will use measures to enforce the ban including the use of facial recognition software to identify those attending LGBTQ+ public events — such as Budapest Pride — and infractions can come with fines of up to 200,000 Hungarian forints ($546).

They’re not related, but from the first time they sat down to discuss their roles in Prime Video’s domestic thriller, The Better Sister, Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks clicked in a way that carried through to their performances, both actresses said on Sunday at Deadline Contenders TV.

“I felt, like, an immediate connection the first time we had lunch together,” Biel said at a panel with Banks and co-showrunners and executive producers, Olivia Milch and Regina Corrado. Banks agreed, saying, “I felt like the big sister right away.”

The two actresses, who are also executive producers on the show, discussed Biel’s anxieties about sending her son off to camp for the first time — an experience that Banks was able to speak to knowledgeably as a mother whose children are older. “I was the younger sister, she was the older sister, and that’s just the dynamic,” Biel said.
