Hilary Duff, who stands at 5 feet 1 inch (154.9 cm), has often claimed in interviews to be slightly taller, stating she is 5’2″.

For decades since its heyday, the horror genre has followed the stories of a wide variety of protagonists who find themselves in various terrifying situations. From slashers to zombie apocalypse movies, these characters come in all forms and power levels, from some movies following tough heroes to others focusing on the vulnerable. Quite often, stories centered around weak characters become the genre's most compelling entries.
Horror movie protagonists are often written as being at an extreme disadvantage to their villains, making their experience all the more harrowing. This disparity can also make it even more satisfying to see the heroes win, effectively giving fans an underdog story from an unlikely source. These so-called final girls and final boys are some of the genre's most iconic characters, and their unlikely victories can make them even more interesting.

Practical Magic is a beloved feminist cult classic with romantic drama and scary elements, making it perfect for a girls' night or watching with a Bff. The film centers around the Owens family, cursed to have any man who loves them meet a horrible fate, and their journey to break the curse. A sequel to Practical Magic is not only obtainable but also timely, with Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock at the perfect age to reprise their roles as the matriarchs of the family in the present day.
To say that Practical Magic is a beloved masterpiece is an understatement. The film has garnered quite a following over the years for being a feminist cult classic full of whimsical romantic drama and some genuinely scary elements despite not being an actual horror movie. Rumors of a sequel have been making the rounds on the internet for quite some time now.

It's a Taylor Swift summer. Apart from taking over the world with her Eras Tour and latest single "Cruel Summer," Swift has now returned with another rerecorded album: "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)." The record dropped on July 7 - 13 years after Swift released the original version of "Speak Now" in 2010.
In a May 5 Instagram post, the star described "Speak Now" as a project full of "brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions, and wild wistfulness." Notably, it's rumored to include lyrics referencing some of Swift's most famous exes.
"Better Than Revenge," which is speculated to be about Joe Jonas, is considered to be one of her most unfiltered tracks since it's believed to not only allude to the pair's messy breakup but also Jonas's old flame Camilla Belle. So, what's the story behind the song? Let's unpack the rumored meaning behind "Better Than Revenge."

Taylor Swift’s re-release of Speak Now has offered her the opportunity to take back a now-controversial lyric from “Better Than Revenge.”
When it was originally released in 2010, “Better Than Revenge” contained the lyrics, “She’s not a saint and she’s not what you think/ She’s an actress/ She’s better known for the things that she does/ On the mattress.” Now, the latter two lines have been changed to: “He was a moth to the flame/ She was holding the matches.”
At the time, the song was rumored to be about her ex Joe Jonas’ new girlfriend, actress Camilla Belle. While it was largely considered “fine” back then, it’s grown controversial as the times have changed. In a 2014 interview with The Guardian, Swift expressed her regret for the lyric.
“I was 18 when I wrote that,” she said. “That’s the age you are when you think...

German director Roland Emmerich made "The Noah's Ark Principle" in Germany in 1984 -- a student film with a budget of over a million Deutschmarks -- and never looked back. He quickly helmed two English-language family films, followed by a move into the worlds of action and science fiction in the 1990s. The peak Emmerich movie is probably still "Independence Day," although his other action and disaster movies -- "The Day After Tomorrow," "2012," "White House Down," and "Moonfall" -- are the connoisseur's choices.
Emmerich (both wisely and unwisely) stretches himself into other genres -- such as the war movies "The Patriot" and "Midway," and the historical dramas "Anonymous" and "Stonewall." It's good to see him pushing himself, taking risks, and experimenting, even if the end results are mixed, to say the least. But he excels at big-budget action movies, and if he's given actors blessed with the necessary star quality to build his beautiful disasters around,...

The hospital drama Grey's Anatomy has seen several famous guest stars throughout its 19-season run, and Tessa Thompson appeared in a few episodes in season 2. Thompson became well-known for playing Valkyrie in the MCU and for her memorable roles in dramatic films, from Bianca Taylor in the Creed franchise to Diane Nash in Selma. While she has had smaller parts in TV series such as a woman with invisible powers in Heroes and a PR consultant in 666 Park Avenue, her turn as villain Charlotte Hale/Dolores Abernathy in Westworld was an exciting departure from her other roles. Thompson's characters are always powerful and smart.
Before being cast in Grey's Anatomy in a guest role, Thompson played Jill Johnson's (Camilla Belle) best friend Scarlett in the 2006 slasher remake When A Stranger Calls, which was her first film role. The actor had a few prior TV appearances, guest-starring in one episode...

Law & Order: Organized Crime is adding a familiar TV face for Season 3.
Janel Moloney, best known for her role as Donna Moss on The West Wing, will be playing a detective in a recurring role in Season 3.
The actress, who has also guest-starred in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Law & Order: Criminal Intent, shared a photo of herself on set in her as-yet-unnamed role.
The actress has a long list of TV credits that includes a guest-starring role in another Dick Wolf Entertainment series.
Moloney is the latest edition for Season 3, which is undergoing a shift from the sudden departure of Bryan Goluboff as showrunner last week.
The addition of a TV veteran like Moloney looks ready to spark Law & Order: Organized Crime in Season 3 and give Stabler another tough lady to play off of.

Christopher Meloni as Elliot Stabler on Law & Order: Organized Crime. Pic credit: NBC
Law & Order: Organized Crime is undergoing yet another shakeup.
In a surprising move, Bryan Goluboff is stepping down as showrunner before the Season 3 premiere of the spin-off.
He will be replaced by Sean Jablonski, who has experience producing the mothership Law & Order series.
There is no word on why the sudden change is happening, which makes Jablonski the show’s fourth showrunner in seven months.
This comes after Goluboff had talked in interviews about his plan for Season 3, which would have included shorter story arcs and more focus on the personal lives of Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) and his squad.
The sudden change should not affect episodes that have already been filmed but will mean some adjustments as Season 3 prepares to premiere on September 22.

Law & Order: Organized Crime is mixing up the formula for Season 3.
New showrunner Bryan Goluboff has confirmed that in the new season of the spinoff, Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) will finally be investigating crimes as himself.
While Season 1 had Stabler hunting for the murderer of his wife, Season 2 focused on him going undercover in a mob and then a pack of corrupt cops.
This put Stabler through an emotional wringer while wrestling with his place as a detective.
But Season 3 will put that aside as Stabler will be out in the open investigating crimes without the undercover work.
This plays into a new pair of possible villains whose casino business is tied to a potential criminal operation.

“Dollface” is a comedy series about female solidarity with Jules Wiley (Kat Dennings) playing the protagonist role. Produced by ABC Signature, this show has something surreal about it. It reveals what life is like for Jules, who suffers heartbreak after getting dumped by her longtime boyfriend. The character deals with the challenges of rejoining female social circles and rekindling lost friendships.
The plot takes unusual twists and turns to tell the story of female friendships in the modern world. Unlike most romantic comedies, the protagonist doesn’t seek comfort in a new love interest but aims to mend broken friendships. As a result, the storyline has a fresh take on girl power and sisterhood spiced with a bit of humor.
Film pundits and viewers showered mostly positive reviews upon the show. Some reviewers praised the main cast’s role in making the show a joy to watch. Others felt it...

Taylor Swift is at it again, folks! After giving us a mission to uncode all the vault songs on her rerecorded Fearless album, the singer rewarded fans with another glimpse of one of the anticipated new tracks. Early Wednesday morning (without any forewarning), Swift dropped "Mr. Perfectly Fine" on YouTube. And just like her recently released vault track "You All Over Me," it appears to be about Joe Jonas, her ex.
It's understandable that a handful of Swift's vault tracks would be about the Jonas Brothers singer. The two dated and broke up right before her Fearless album was released in 2008. Her hit song "Forever & Always" was written about their romance and was added to the album at the last minute. While the two are on good terms now - she sent Jonas and Sophie Turner a present for their daughter - it seems like...

The Brad Furman-directed crime thriller City of Lies has had quite a journey, but the Saban Films release finally hits theaters today before dropping on digital and on demand April 9.
Based on the book, LAbyrinth, by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Randall Sullivan and adapted by Christian Contreras, City of Lies follows the investigation into the infamous murder of iconic rap artist Christopher Wallace aka the hip hop legend Notorious B.I.G.
Oscar and Emmy winner Forest Whitaker stars as Jack Jackson, a journalist who teams up with LAPD detective Russell Poole (Johnny Depp), who spent nearly 20 years trying to solve the murder. The two of them try to find the truth. They explore why the case remains cold — and why a secret division of the LAPD is seemingly set on keeping it that way.
It’s not a lie that City of Lies went through a lot to make its way to the theaters.
