- Made a guest appearance on the WWE progam "Raw is War" in the late 90s to console wrester Val Venis who, according to the storyline on the show, allegedly had a very similar misfortune on his genital region.
- Sentenced to five years' probation for his role in the theft of more than $140,000 in clothing from a Fallon, Nevada store. Churchill County District Judge Archie Blake also ordered Bobbitt to pay $5,000 restitution and serve 100 hours of community service. (14 September 1999)
- Appeared in a biker film called "Ride a Crooked Road" which was filmed in the 90's but was never completed. It was subsequently edited by Director Joaquin Montalvan in 2017 and clips of it appear in the Director's film, "Rebel Drifters Ride Again" for which John Wayne Bobbitt was credited as the "Flashback Gunman".
