Michael Pitt — the actor best known for his roles on Boardwalk Empire and Dawson’s Creek — has been arrested in connection with numerous allegations of violence and sexual abuse.

According to the New York Post, Pitt has been charged with two counts of first-degree sexual abuse in addition to counts of strangulation in the second degree, assault, and injury with a blunt object.

With John Wick 5 officially announced, fans keep speculating how Keanu Reeves' titular hitman will rise from the proverbial ashes after seemingly dying in the last sequel, Chapter 4. Though Wick's saga is "over," according to franchise director Chad Stahelski, movie lovers can expect fresh twists and turns that differentiate the next film from previous installments.

Speaking with Empire, Stahelski explained how John Wick 5 will continue Wick's story after the ending of Chapter 4, which saw him succumb to shot wounds following a faceoff with Caine (Donnie Yen) and his cohorts looking on at his gravesite. Though Chapter 4 chronicled Wick's battle with the High Table, Stahelski claimed John Wick 5's story would move on from that saga and teased that there's more to his anticipated return than meets the eye.

“The saga of John Wick was pretty wrapped up,” he said. “So the only way to do a 5 is to have a new story that involves John Wick.

Ballerina opens in just about a month, and as the marketing campaign ramps up, we've received a handful of new stills from the actioner, featuring Ana de Armas as Eve Macarro, a young new Ruska Roma assassin that is out for revenge.

The teen is then guided on a journey of self-discovery by a talking gorilla, all while avoiding his influencer parents and rogue AI avatars.

Back in 2017, Lionsgate bought an action thriller spec script called Ballerina, which was written by Shay Hatten and ranked on The Black List as one of the best unproduced screenplays of that year. The idea was to have Hatten rewrite the script to take place within the world of Lionsgate’s John Wick franchise – and Hatten was also hired to co-write John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, which included a set-up for the Ballerina concept of ballerina assassins. Hatten did his rewrite, Len Wiseman was hired to direct the film, Ana de Armas was cast as the title character, and now, Ballerina is ready to make its way out into the world, with a theatrical release scheduled for June 6th. Growing up, whenever I heard the name Agatha Christie, it was generally because our family’s TV was tuned to PBS. And while what I’m about to say is in no way fair to the famed mystery writer’s rich oeuvre, nor its wide and varied body of television adaptations, it’s true: I pretty much associated the author’s name with stuffy-seeming men with signature mustaches, looking intrigued.

Ballerina's lead engages the Baba Yaga in a brand new poster for the upcoming John Wick spinoff.

The poster spotlights Ana de Armas' Eve Macarro in a crowded field of new and familiar faces to the John Wick universe, including Wick (Keanu Reeves), the Director (Anjelica Huston), and Winston (Ian McShane) surrounded by guns and ornamental backgrounds. A knife fight between Macarro and Wick can also be seen in the middle of the poster, mirroring the recent Ballerina trailer shown at CinemaCon. Earlier this week, Ballerina's X page further hyped up de Armas' hand-to-hand combat via a behind-the-scenes clip of her getting thrown around by an extra, even getting a few hits on him with a frying pan.
