Appeared briefly at the Icelandic Production of "Romeo and Juliet" in January 2005. This circus version featured a number of anonymous actors on different nights to deliver the final 2 lines of the play. As the play closed, Dalton appeared from the wings & delivered the lines as a mumble, so the audience was almost unable to hear him. However the impact of having such a star on the stage compensated for it.

(1977/1980) He played Lord Byron in the Old Vic Company production of "The Lunatic, The Lover, and The Poet", written by Jane McCulloch and directed by Tony Robertson. The show was first staged in London in 1977, then toured Europe throughout the early 1980s with with different cast members. Dalton played lead role in Madrid and Barcelona in March 1980.
