Wednesday Season 2: Release Date, Cast, Potential Plot & All You Need To Know Before Netflix Brings Back Spooky Fun!
Image
Wednesday Season 2 Update (Photo Credit – Instagram)

Wednesday is officially crawling back to your screens — and this time, it’s splitting the chaos. Netflix has confirmed that Wednesday Season 2 will premiere in two parts, with Part 1 landing on August 6 and Part 2 following on September 3. That means fans will only get half the mystery first and then wait nearly a month for the rest. Sound familiar? Yup, this split-drop strategy is becoming a Netflix trend post-Stranger Things 4 and The Witcher.

Wednesday Season 2 Plot: What’s Brewing At Nevermore?

Jenna Ortega will return as the sharp-tongued, deadpan queen of the outcasts. This season, Wednesday will take on an even darker supernatural puzzle while juggling frayed friendships, new foes, and, of course, that wonderfully bizarre family.

The creators are teasing a more layered journey this time. As co-showrunner Alfred Gough put it (via Tudum): “Wednesday Season 1 was a table setter, but there...

Back to the Future 3’s Ending Should Change Its Writer’s Mind for a 4th Movie
Image
It’s been well over 3 decades since Back to the Future III graced cinemas with one of Hollywood’s most celebrated sci-fi trilogies. But for many fans, the ending never really felt like a chapter closed. While the film summed up Doc Brown and Marty McFly’s arcs with a sappy flourish- time-traveling train and whatnot- the ending left more questions than answers for the viewers.

Teased characters, loopholes in the plot, and the secret lives of Doc’s children fueled years of speculation and, most importantly, a wish for continuation. Despite screenwriter Bob Gale’s repeated refusal to revisit the franchise and consider a fourth film, fans remain firm on their stance that the final film left a lot of loose ends. In fact, the third film’s ending should be a good reason for a sequel.

The ending of Back to the Future III left fans wanting more...

'Wednesday' Season 2 New Look Gives Best Look at Extended Addams Family
Image
Wednesday is set to return to Netflix this summer for Season 2 of Tim Burton’s visionary reworking of The Addams Family, and this time there is more family time than ever for Jenna Ortega’s character. Now, as part of their 2025 Upfronts presentation, Netflix has teased audiences with a new look at the family ahead of an expected new trailer at the upcoming Tudum event next month.

It has been a long three years since Wednesday dropped its first season on Netflix and immediately became one of the streamer’s biggest hits ever. Can Season 2 follow its predecessor? With a huge returning cast, and plenty of new additions, there is no reason to think that the summer’s double-drop release will not be another huge success for Netflix – and that can only mean a bright future for the dark family.

Wednesday Season 2 will pick up after a time jump, and...

The cast also includes Emma Myers as Enid Sinclair, Hunter Doohan as Tyler Galpin, Joy Sunday as Bianca Barclay, Moosa Mostafa as Eugene Ottinger, Georgie Farmer as Ajax Petropolus, Steve Buscemi as Principal Dort, Billie Piper as Isadora Capri, Christopher Lloyd as Professor Orloff, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo as Sheriff Ritchie Santiago,...

Mark Feuerstein is a rabbi hunting down a killer in the new Collider-exclusive trailer for Guns & Moses. The neo-Western thriller also stars Neal McDonough, Dermot Mulroney, and Christopher Lloyd. It will be released in theaters on July 18, 2025, by Pictures From The Fringe and Concourse Media. In the trailer for the film, Feuerstein is Mo Zaltzman, a rabbi in a small desert town that's rocked by a shocking act of violence: a shooting at a gala honoring solar entrepreneur Alan Rosner (Mulroney), seemingly motivated by anti-Semitism.

A local skinhead is picked up for the crime, but Mo becomes increasingly convinced that he's innocent. He begins looking into suspects, including the mayor (McDonough), Rosner's mysterious wife (Mercedes Mason) and troubled brother (Michael B. Silver), a scientist whose career Rosner destroyed (Paulo Costanzo), and even Rosner himself. Meanwhile, Mo takes firearms training himself for self-defense...and just in time, too, as the...

Image
Universal Pictures has released the first official trailer for Nobody 2, giving us our first look at the return of assassin-turned-family man Hutch Mansell (Bob Odenkirk) taking his wife and kids on a stressfree vacation, which, of course, doesn't go according to plan.

The original Nobody debuted in early 2021 and was a critical and commercial success, earning an 84% Certified Fresh rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, and grossing $57.5 million globally on an estimated $16 million production budget.

In addition to Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul; Breaking Bad; Nebraska), the cast features Connie Nielsen (Gladiator; Wonder Woman; The Hunted), John Ortiz (Silver Linings Playbook; American Gangster; Fast & Furious), RZA (American Gangster; The Man with the Iron Fists; Brick Mansions), Colin Hanks...

Nobody 2 | Here’s the trailer for the action sequel
Bob Odenkirk
Bob Odenkirk is back at the unlikely assassin, and this time he’s on holiday. The Nobody 2 trailer has just landed.

‘National Lampoons European Vacation meets John Wick’ is how we imagine the team behind Nobody pitched a sequel to the 2021 action flick to Universal. It’s a solid pitch, not least because many love National Lampoons European Vacation. And also because we secretly believe that John Wick is name-checked in every Hollywood meeting these days.

Whichever approach the team behind Nobody took, the pitch worked. Although honestly, the 2021 original pretty much spoke for itself when it comes to the desire for a sequel. Odenkirk made for a fun central character and the action sequences were great. Plus, Christopher Lloyd got some decent screentime too, so there was plenty to enjoy.

This time around, the follow-up is going down the classic sequel formula of transplanting the action somewhere exotic – kind of.

Image
Following the success of 2021's Nobody, the Bob Odenkirk-led action film received a sequel. Now, his character, Hutch Mansell, is back.

The beginning of the almost-three-minute-long clip shows Hutch fighting his enemies in an elevator, as teased by one of the first-look stills from the upcoming action film. Why The Frasier Writers Vetoed A Joke On The Simpsons
Image
In 1997, both "The Simpsons" and "Frasier" were at the height of their powers. The former had already been on the air for seven seasons but was arguably at the apex of what is now recognized as the golden age of "The Simpsons." (Even the show's current writers know they can't compete with classic "Simpsons.") Meanwhile, "Frasier" was in its fifth season and had similarly proven to be remarkably consistent. Both shows were two of the smartest and funniest on TV, and with "Frasier" star Kelsey Grammer having already guest-starred on "The Simpsons" a full five times, it was only right that the animated series pay full tribute to one of the only shows on TV that could claim to be on an equal level.

This tribute came with season 8, episode 16, "Brother from Another Series." Debuting in February 1997, the episode saw Sideshow Bob (Grammer) released from prison after having been arrested in "Sideshow Bob's Last Gleaming,...

‘Frasier’ Producers Insisted on Cutting This Joke From ‘The Simpsons’
Image
With apologies to “Father Christmas” and Down Periscope’s Lieutenant Commander Thomas “Tom” Dodge, Dr. Frasier Crane and Sideshow Bob Terwilliger are clearly Kelsey Grammer’s most beloved characters. And even though one is a radio psychiatrist and the other is a clown’s sidekick-turned-homicidal maniac, the two share a fair bit in common, such as a love of spontaneously performing Gilbert and Sullivan tunes.

The similarity between the two characters was really cemented in Season Eight’s “Brother From Another Series,” which guest starred David Hyde Pierce. Pierce, who, of course, played Dr. Niles Crane, voiced Sideshow Bob’s jealous brother Cecil. In addition to the meta casting choice, a number of other Frasier nods were shoehorned into the episode, including Cecil’s swank wine-filled bachelor pad and the sitcom’s trademark title cards.

But one reference never actually made it to the air, thanks to Frasier’s producers.

"It’s Just Fine the Way It is": Bob Gale Quashes All 'Back to The Future' Prequel & Sequel Possibilities
Image
If you want to see Marty McFly and Doc go on another adventure, the Back to the Future writer Bob Galehas bad news. The iconic franchise has been entertaining fans for decades and is loved for its mind-bending take on time travel, performances, and storyline. In times when all old popular movies are being rehashed in some shape or form, Gale is strictly against reviving the franchise with a prequel, sequel or follow-up.

“I don’t know why they keep talking about that!” Gale said at a recent fan fest. “I mean, do they think that if they say it enough times, we’re going to actually do it?” While fans demanding or talking about a project usually signals its longevity or revival, Gale feels the Back to the Future story is “perfect enough” to never be touched again for the big or small screen. He further explained,

“I mean,...

Screenwriter Bob Gale has once again insisted a fourth ‘Back to the Future’ movie will “never” happen. The 73-year-old scribe - who created the beloved sci-fi trilogy with director Robert Zemeckis, 72 - has long stressed the ‘Back to the Future’ series is over, and has now emphasised that neither a prequel nor sequel will ever go ahead.Speaking at Universal Fan Fest Nights about a possible fourth film, Gale said: “I don’t know why they keep talking about that! I mean, do they think that if they say it enough times, we’re going to actually do it?“I mean, it’s like they know in every interview people say, ‘Oh Bob, when is there going to be a ‘Back to the Future 4’?’ Never. ‘When is there going to be a prequel?’ Never. ‘When is there going to be a spinoff?’ Never. “It’s just fine the way it is.

'Wednesday' Creators Expect Fans to "Fall in Love" With Joanna Lumley as Hester Frump
Image
A new member of the Addams Family will be introduced during Wednesday's anticipated second season, and series creators can't wait for fans to meet her. Alfred Gough and Miles Millar recently spoke with Netflix's Tudum about the upcoming season of the hit dark comedy series and what audiences can expect. They also discussed Joanna Lumley's addition to the Tim Burton-directed series. Lumley will portray Morticia's mother, Hester Frump; you can catch a glimpse of her in the trailer below.

Speaking about Lumley, whose iconic portrayal of Patsy Stone in Absolutely Fabulous is beloved and acclaimed, Millar told Tudum:

"The idea of bringing Hester, Morticia's mother, into the fold this season was something we were so excited about. The first day on set when Joanna walked on, she just was Hester, and she nailed every single line, and it's just so delicious. She's perfect and hilarious. That...

Luis Guzman Hypes 'Wednesday' Season 2 While Promoting Action Movie Havoc
Image
Wednesday fans have been waiting patiently – or impatiently in many cases – for the second season of Tim Burton’s reworking of The Addams Family to bring Jenna Ortega’s take on the daughter of Morticia and Gomez Addams back to Netflix. Now, the new season is only several months away – a lifetime, we know – but the hype around the new season has already started, and one person happy to buzz up Season 2 is star Luis Guzmán.

Guzmán follows Raul Julia and Tim Curry in taking on the role of The Addams Family patriarch Gomez, and in many ways his take on the character is much more in line with Charles Addams’ original comic strip character than any of his previous appearances. While speaking to MovieWeb’s George Edelman about his new movie, the Tom Hardy actioner Havoc, Guzmán shared a tease of Wednesday Season 2, noting that everyone is going to...

Alleged Subtle Homophobia in Modern Family Despite The Show Featuring Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet’s Same Sex Romance
Image
Modern Family fans aren’t gonna like this! But the show that earned our love and appreciation is alleged to have gotten away with homophobic content. Yes, the same show that was groundbreaking in portraying a same sex couple as its central characters.

Well, it isn’t just the subtle homophobia that was pointed out by a fan. They also alleged that the sitcom had some racist and misogynistic content. Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd’s ABC sitcom followed the lives of the diverse Pritchett family.

Jay Pritchett, the patriarch of the family, is married to his second wife, Gloria, a Latina woman. Claire, his daughter, is married to the lovable and goofy Phil Dunphy. And Mitchell, Jay’s son, is gay and married to Cam. While Mitchell and Cam’s relationship gets a lot of praise, the fan noted the amount of homophobic content made at their expense.

Wednesday Season 2 Trailer Reveals Jenna Ortega's Netflix Show Is Being Split In Half
Image
Hump day is looking pretty horrifying (but in a good way) thanks to the arrival of the brand new trailer for "Wednesday" season 2, which sees Jenna Ortega return as the dark-minded daughter of the Addams Family. Following the surprise and absolutely massive success of the first season on Netflix, it came as no surprise when "Wednesday" season 2 was ordered by the streaming service. Fans of the first season should be happy to see the creepy, kooky, mysterious, and spooky elements that we got so much of in season 1 are back for this new installment, all wrapped up in an all-new mystery with Ortega's dead-eyed alter-ego at the center (where she's joined by an impressive supporting ensemble). The thing that should have people most excited, however, is that season 2 looks to focus a little more on the Addams Family itself and not just its teen daughter.
