Written and directed by Macon Blair, the movie is based on Lloyd Kaufman's 1984 cult classic and stars Peter Dinklage as Winston Gooze, Kevin Bacon as Bob Garbinger, Elijah Wood as Fritz Garbinger, Taylour Paige as J.J., Jacob Tremblay as Wade, Jane Levy as an insurance rep, among others. The movie stars Game of Thrones veteran Peter Dinklage as a janitor who gets superpowers and mounts a revolting one-man war on crime. How revolting? The movie is not rated, but a warning label shared on the film's Twitter/X page states that we're in for "ultra violent/toxic content, piss play, mutant nudity, and gnarly theater fun."

Fans have been waiting a long time to see writer/director Macon Blair’s remake of the Troma cult classic The Toxic Avenger (watch it Here), which wrapped filming way back in 2021 and unveiled a teaser trailer near the end of 2023, around the time it had its world premiere screening – but we won’t have to wait much longer. At the start of the year, it was announced that Cineverse had acquired the distribution rights with the intention of giving the film a wide release, and we’ve since learned that they’re aiming for an August 29th theatrical release. Three years ago, the Motion Picture Association ratings boards gave the film an R rating for “strong violence and gore, language throughout, sexual references and brief graphic nudity”… but never mind all that. The Toxic Avenger remake is being released unrated, and new promo images reveal exactly why it’s going out unrated.

The trailer for new limited series Sirens invites us to a mysterious seaside estate, where a star-studded cast of characters resides. There’s Michaela Kell (Oscar-winner Julianne Moore) — the lady of the manor and wife of billionaire mogul Peter Kell (Kevin Bacon) — Mrs. Kell’s loyal assistant Simone DeWitt (Milly Alcock), fellow wealthy neighbor Ethan Corbin III (Glenn Howerton), and the many hardworking staff members who make Cliff House run.
