One of my favorite AdultSwim shows, it came out at the perfect time and (in my opinion) ended at the perfect time. The first season is a great start and sets the tone for the first half of the series. The second season continues this up until 'Nature', one of the best television episodes ever, and the major turning point. And with season 3, the show becomes so dark, so sinister, and so depressing (which is why it was cancelled). It's no longer just a parody of Davey and Goliath, it's its own thing. - CreatorGreg DanielsMichael SchurStarsAmy PoehlerJim O'HeirNick OffermanThe absurd antics of an Indiana town's public officials as they pursue sundry projects to make their city a better place.(73%)

Season one tries to copy The Office too much, the only good episode is 'Rock Show', I consider that to be the true pilot instead of whatever the hell the actual pilot is. Season two is when it starts to finds it's footing, but season three is when it really became it's own, nearly a perfect season. Season 4-6 is pretty great, however, I'm not a big fan of the season 7 time jump (the only two 'phenomenal' episodes are Lesile & Ron and the Johnny Karate one), and the finale is a little disappointing, I kinda wish they went with the death idea that is mentioned in the trivia area, or just a different route, honestly, The Office has a better finale. I'm not counting the weird COVID special, it's really bad and feels extremely forced, it's not canon. One of my favorite comedies, unlike Friends or Seinfeld, no one is mean to each other. It's all just comedy, fun, and an actual entertaining plot. Everything feels real, rather than the superfical nature of The Office. I also love April and Andy (LOVE Aubrey Plaza), I want that. - CreatorJoseph PellingBecky SloanBaker TerryStarsBecky SloanJoseph PellingBaker TerryFollow Red Guy, Yellow Guy, and Green Duck as they learn about family, electricity, and death. Such a creative series. The shorts are a good proof of concept, I think the Dreams one is the best but none of them are terrible. The Channel 4 series is the best part of it, only dip is the Friendship episode. Love the surrealism, the existential horror, which is pretty rare. Really hope more of these get made, either shorts or a new Channel 4 season. - CreatorGlenn EichlerSusie LewisStarsTracy GrandstaffWendy HoopesJulian RebolledoA smart and cynical girl goes through teenage life as a proud outsider in a world of mainly idiotic adolescents and condescending adults.(72%)

This show is amazing! I love how it's just people coming up with crazy over the top schemes and screwing each other over, everyone is always miserable, it's amazing. And honestly, the majority of the series feel timeless. I will say, I do miss the low production value/standard definition look, but there is nothing wrong with the HD, high production episodes. I mean, just look at "Charlie Work". However, I think maybe they kinda fell into the same trap as South Park where in 2017, it starts to become less timeless. There are still really great episodes of the modern era, "Time's Up for the Gang" is great, so is "Hero or Hate Crime?" or "Making Dennis Renyold a Murderer'' or "Mac Finds his Pride", like the dance sequence is fantastic. But nothing beats the simplicity of the first like seven seasons. Also my disappointment to hear that the Ireland episodes were filmed in California. I'd be down if they went to more countries, like a "The Gang Goes to Tokyo" arc would be funny. I'll always keep up with new seasons, I have a feeling that this will be like Family Guy and The Simpsons where, because it's owned by Disney, it will never end, maybe if FX died it could, but I guess it would just be on Hulu then. - CreatorNeil DruckmannCraig MazinStarsPedro PascalBella RamseyAnna TorvAfter a global pandemic destroys civilization, a hardened survivor takes charge of a 14-year-old girl who may be humanity's last hope.(70%)

Grew up watching this on Nickelodeon. During the pandemic, I went back and rewatched the whole series, and honestly, it still holds up... except for Season 1. Clearly they were trying to find their footing but I'd say the only decent episode is Guitar. The pilot doesn't not age well at all. Season 2 is when the good episodes start coming in, but season 3 and 4 I would say is the peak, and when EVERY episode is great. They're fun stories, slapstick humor. I'm glad they ended it when they did, right when it was still at the top.
It's quite infuriating that Paramount won't release all the episodes properly. First of all, episodes from S2 and onward were filmed in 16:9 HD, yet, they are only shown or on Paramount+ in 4:3, and while I have nostalgia for them being 4:3, I'd rather have them be full 16:9, especially when it was made that way. But the most overglaring issue is missing episodes in BOTH airing and Paramount+. For example: the pilot (which uses a Lenny Kravitz song), Dune Buggy (uses a Good Charlotte song), Guitar (apperently it's because they used the name "Stratocaster", which Fender owns - which is a very funny reason), Blues Brothers (uses clips from the Blues Brothers movie, use the song Soul Man - although their cover appears on the official Drake & Josh soundtrack - which is currently on streaming platforms), Drivers License (no idea why), Number One Fan (possibly because of a Drake Bell song, but he's in the show so I doubt it), The Gary Grill (maybe because Gary Coleman cameos in it but who knows), and the original version of The Storm (in the original version, they perform the Queen song We Will Rock You, but in the Paramount+/Nick airings, it's been replaced with an original song - at first I thought I made the Queen part up because that version seems to b expunged from internet, but some low quality versions of it exist). I have no idea why Paramount isn't interested in properly releasing one of the most successful Nickelodeon shows of all time, more than Zoey 101.

I don't like The Office. Steve Carell thinks he's hot shit and he isn't. He is very unlikeable and annoying. That being said, when Steve left show, they should've just ended it. Jim and Pam are the best part. There are some fun episodes, I think my favorite is the fire. Out of the two NBC mockumentary sitcoms, this is my least favorite, which is unfortunatly the beloved one for it's "lol so random" humor. The College Years: 1
Saw this when I was 16, so my perspective is most likely different from someone who grew up with it. It's a decent show, it's got fun episodes and unique ideas. The rockumentary one especially is kinda cool for the time. The characters are pretty stereotypical, including the token black friend. Zack is a major narcissist, he's kinda like a young Ross. The College Years is basically useless. - CreatorAdam F. Interesting premise but it is SO ONE NOTED LIKE OH MY GOD. Characters are annoying, I hate how it just jumps around from year to year despite characters staying the same age. It's a pretty boring show that could've been better. I remember the Barry and Lainey story but nothing else. Also, once the grandfather died (in real life) and Jeff Garlin got fired, the show should've just ended. Also, as the series goes, it just has the Disney auora, which is strange this is a Sony show, but it just feels so Disney. Anyway, show is boring, it's basically The Wonder Years but in the 80s. - CreatorMarc FirekAdam F. I haven't seen this since I was a kid on Nick at Nite. Even as a kid, I thought it was alright. I don't really have a whole lot to say about it. It was a generic family sitcom (and kinda borderlining that "ideal Christian values"). I don't really plan on rewatching it anytime soon. I used to watch this dumb show as a kid, I've seen every episode multiple times. With age, I hate this show so much. It is so unfunny, the laugh track is the most irritating in this show than any other, none of these characters are likeable, realistically none of these people should be friends. There is so many times where these characters are just shitty people to each other (the whole Chandler/Joey box thing being the biggest example). Ross is actually a fucking psychopath who should be locked away, he's a possessive and manipulative person. The "we were on a break" is the stupidest shit I've ever heard. I cannot care about a toxic relationship. Ross basically grooms a high school student, while Rachael grooms her assistant, Monica has that 40 year old gap relationship with Tom Sellek. Fucking Joey. The Phoebe cat episode is the most retarded thing I've ever heard and was so infuriating. Show constantly makes of LGBTQ people, incest jokes (the whole fucking cousin episode), the lack of consent, so many unfunny and overused jokes (Janice, pivot, on a break). It was a product of it's time, sure I guess, but these characters should not have been accepted. Everyone is just a stereotype, it's incredibly sexist. The show ends where everyone is married, has kids and all that garbage, as if that is the only purpose of life. I hate how much Warner Bros keeps clinging to this show, if you tour their studio, they have a whole fucking exhbit just for the show, constantly airing it on TBS, I hate this show, and I wish it disappeared off the face of the earth.
