2022 films from worst to best
Just when I said this year was going to be less wretched than the last I was completely wrong, worse things have happened and we all knew 2022 was doomed to begin with, because as a start Masks Mandates were temporarily, and It hasn't gotten any better as now, I knew that the pandemic was going to come back adventully and it did, so you know what that is, since COVID isn't ending this year it'll extend to 2024 or 2025, That's an abomination, bet everybody was depressed about that, everyone in Ukraine who were invaded by Russia the most if you know what I'm talking about.
I also forgot that this was the year of Hysterical Box Office Bombs, e.g "Strange World" already lost around 140 to 150 Million in two weeks, "Lightyear" bombed too, "Bros" didn't do too well either, "The Woman King" bombed on woke points, "She Said" was one of the biggest bombs in Hollywood history despite being praised by the critics and "The 355" bombed hard earlier this year.
And as much as I wanted "The Batman" to get a perfect score, nothing got 10 stars for the third time in yearly film history, that's just sad, hopefully there's a masterpiece hidden somewhere.
Oh, The Entertainment stock has been so bad TV and streaming have been infected, earlier this year this "Resident Evil" Netflix series existed, "She Hulk" was another woke disaster and considered the worst marvel thing ever owned by Disney, "Willow" was a huge shitstorm in script and character, and "The Witcher: Blood Origin" was so hated by the fans the staff had to quit their jobs.
So now let's end this sad year to... Y'know what, everybody is terrified that next year will turn out like this, so I don't know if we'll ever get a fresh new year anymore.

- DirectorGrant S. JohnsonStarsDermot MulroneyAdan CantoKatie CassidyA CIA officer finds himself the target of a rendition operation after being scapegoated for the death of an interrogation subject.Yeah, Agent Game is a shit movie, with poor actors, Mel Gibson was horrible in this one, bloated with a boring story and the villain gets away in the end, so overall... It's the worst film of the year, I'd rather watch "Blackout" again it's so bad.
- DirectorSam MacaroniStarsJosh DuhamelAbbie CornishOmar ChaparroA man wakes in a hospital with no memory, and quickly finds himself on the run in a locked down hospital with the Cartel on his tail. He scrambles to find his true identity in the most vicious way.Watching this movie in the dark would've made sense if Blackout wasn't colourless and bland, there wasn't a single actor who surprised me, not even Nick Nolte, I just don't like this film, but I don't mind this as much as watching "Midnight In The Switchgrass".
- DirectorDaniel EspinosaStarsJared LetoMatt SmithAdria ArjonaBiochemist Michael Morbius tries to cure himself of a rare blood disease, but he inadvertently infects himself with a form of vampirism instead.I'm sorry but Morbius was an underwelming experience, Jared Leto is better in other films that are not superhero related but at least he did better in this than with The Joker in David Ayer's "Suicide Squad", I know there'd been people going on of how awesome this film is but I don't believe that, It is the worst Marvel product of the year, and I only watched it due to the ongoing pandemic.
- DirectorTaika WaititiStarsChris HemsworthNatalie PortmanChristian BaleThor enlists the help of Valkyrie, Korg and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster to fight Gorr the God Butcher, who intends to make the gods extinct.Thor: Love and Thunder was the worst Thor movie since "The Dark World", or if not worse than that, with "Black Widow" too late, "Eternals" too long, and this being too stupid and repetitive, it copies "Ragnarok" and if the next film comes out I'll have low Expectations.
- DirectorMonika MitchellStarsAlyssa MilanoSam PageMalachi WeirWhen her sister is killed and her double life as a webcam performer is revealed, Grace ignores the warnings of a cool-headed detective and gets involved in the case.Oh no not this film again, how many times do I have to tell you Brazen is the "Fifty Shades Of Grey" on streaming, at least it was not as hated as the entirety of "The Fifty Shades Trilogy", I didn't like who featured in this movie, sure I wanted to get intensions from this thriller but sadly it had all these sex jokes not even I was amused by.
|Available Now On Netflix| - DirectorMatthew ReillyStarsElsa PatakyLuke BraceyAaron GlenaneOne Army captain must use her years of tactical training and military expertise when a simultaneous coordinated attack threatens the remote missile interceptor station she is in command of.I just wanted to watch something different on my own for a change, unfortunately Interceptor was not as fun as I expected, it's not even that good of a movie.
|Available Now On Netflix| - DirectorAlejandro MontielStarsLuisana LopilatoMauricio PaniaguaBenjamín Del CerroYears after moving to a remote town, ex-cop Pipa is pulled back into the dark world she thought she'd left behind when a corpse appears on her property. Not impressed by Pipa, it's technically a Mexican standoff with story even more complicated and confusing than the outside world, if this year wasn't already difficult enough this film won't cheer people up.
|Available Now On Netflix| - DirectorRoland EmmerichStarsHalle BerryPatrick WilsonJohn BradleyA mysterious force knocks the moon from its orbit and sends it hurtling on a collision course toward earth. So, was Moonfall fun and stupid or was it just stupid, well It is the first disaster film seen of the year and it had big names and even higher budget than the second one, Roland Emmerich is really good at doing these kinds of films, and I love this more than "Independence Day: Resurgence".
- DirectorColin TrevorrowStarsChris PrattBryce Dallas HowardLaura DernFour years after the destruction of Isla Nublar, Biosyn operatives attempt to track down Maisie Lockwood, while Dr Ellie Sattler investigates a genetically engineered swarm of giant insects. And here we are with the third instalment in the "Jurassic World" series, Dominion is the one and believe it or not there were little more parts I enjoyed for the sake of things but also things felt a little off from the rest, It's not a terrible movie but It's not memorable compared to the previous films.
- DirectorToby MeakinsStarsIola EvansAsa ButterfieldRobert EnglundAfter firing up a lost 1980s survival horror game, a young coder unleashes a hidden curse that tears reality apart, forcing her to make terrifying decisions and face deadly consequences. It's not a great film whatsoever but it can pull the pasted blast of feeling whether you find it intensifying to play, tho it does feature Asa Butterfield as a character named Issac who goes through all his fears living up to either the actress wants to Choose or Die.
|Available Now On Netflix| - DirectorArne FeldhusenStarsBjarne MädelGeorg FriedrichAnita VulesicaWhen a small-town con artist joins the local mafia with his manipulative brother, his obsession with balancing his karma gets hilariously brutal.Buba is nothing too special by the parts of it but this does relate to some Disney fairy tale references which I liked, and at least you can laugh at how funny his humour was.
|Available Now On Netflix| - DirectorKevin KoStarsHsuan-yen TsaiSin-Ting HuangYing-Hsuan KaoSix years ago, Li Ronan was cursed after breaking a religious taboo. Now, she must protect her daughter from the consequences of her actions. This isn't everyone's cup of tea but if you like to see Horror done right, Incantation leads in such a brutal path of entertainment in Asia.
|Available Now On Netflix| - DirectorLuke SewellStarsAlexandra PosadzkiA group of investors turned sleuths as they try to unlock the suspicious death of cryptocurrency multimillionaire Gerry Cotten and the missing $250 million they believe he stole from them. This Documentary is all about the money bribes and hackers that lurk into people's accounts so it does take itself seriously, like what'd you expect this is based of real life, Trust No One: The Hunt for the Crypto King is exactly what means to be a well received decentcy of film preaching to the next.
|Available Now On Netflix| - DirectorBabak AnvariStarsAntonio AakeelAlicia Ambrose-BaylyPercelle AscottFollows a young graffiti artist who discovers a shocking secret that would put him and the ones closest to him in danger. This British film... I Came By is the apifinity to fear that validates the equality of impressive murderous scenes when I sat through this movie, for an actor who has intelligence when coming to one of these films does satisfy many crime dramas.
- DirectorJoseph KosinskiStarsChris HemsworthMiles TellerJurnee SmollettIn the near future, convicts are offered the chance to volunteer as medical subjects to shorten their sentence. One such subject for a new drug capable of generating feelings of love begins questioning the reality of his emotions.I say, Spiderhead was just fine, Chris Hemsworth and Miles Teller don't have the best chemistry... not as much as Miles Teller and J.K Simmons who were just perfect, this film's not even close.
|Available Now On Netflix| - DirectorDavid YatesStarsEddie RedmayneJude LawEzra MillerAlbus Dumbledore knows that Gellert Grindelwald is moving to take control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he asks Newt Scamander to lead an intrepid team on a dangerous mission.Look, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore doesn't have quite an understandable story and removed Johnny Depp from the role of Grindelwald due to his trail with Amber Heard abusing her but I'm sure this is better than the previous one as I gotta say.
- DirectorMartin CampbellStarsLiam NeesonGuy PearceTaj AtwalAn assassin-for-hire finds that he's become a target after he refuses to complete a job for a dangerous criminal organization.Even if I didn't find it completely dull Memory was not as good as like other/better Liam Neeson features ushering "Taken".
- DirectorKyle BaldaBrad AblesonJonathan del ValStarsSteve CarellPierre CoffinAlan ArkinThe untold story of one twelve-year-old's dream to become the world's greatest supervillain.Y'know what, I'm glad I saw Minions: The Rise of Gru, It's silly but it can entertain the whole family.
- DirectorRuben FleischerStarsTom HollandMark WahlbergAntonio BanderasStreet-smart Nathan Drake is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor "Sully" Sullivan to recover a fortune amassed by Ferdinand Magellan, and lost 500 years ago by the House of Moncada.Tho it's been over a year since I saw Uncharted from when it was first released there are parts I really enjoyed, Tom Holland does great as Nathan Drake even when the famous video game character was originally rolled by Mark Wahlberg until he decided to take Sully's part, let me guess... J.K Simmons was at first about to take his supported role too?
- DirectorJaume Collet-SerraStarsDwayne JohnsonAldis HodgePierce BrosnanNearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the Egyptian gods--and imprisoned just as quickly--Black Adam is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.I didn't know why this film didn't do as well as I expected, It was delayed multiple times due to the pandemic but the action is fun, the story is mindless diversion and the scenery was unputdownable and informal, but the problem was it had other superhero who ripped off better Marvel films, oh well...
- DirectorMichael BayStarsJake GyllenhaalYahya Abdul-Mateen IIEiza GonzálezTwo robbers steal an ambulance after their heist goes awry.At first I wasn't thinking that Ambulance was going to be any good because it was a Michael Bay directed film, but then it played on Foxtell so I decided to give it a shot thinking maybe it's gonna be good, and what'd y'know I really enjoyed it, the action was epic and the actors did well, It's a solid film overall.
- DirectorPeter FlinthStarsNikolaj Coster-WaldauJoe ColeHeida ReedIn 1909, two explorers fight to survive after they're left behind while on a Denmark expedition in ice-covered Greenland.Against the Ice had more good things than bad, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau has this serious character feeling I reckon was quite swell, I don't remember the time of the year that I saw it but I know it was solid.
|Available Now On Netflix| - DirectorJoe RussoAnthony RussoStarsRyan GoslingChris EvansAna de ArmasWhen the CIA's most skilled operative, whose true identity is known to none, accidentally uncovers dark agency secrets, a psychopathic former colleague puts a bounty on his head, setting off a global manhunt by international assassins. The Gray Man was popular on everybody's favorite streaming service and does have the fun enjoyment when I discovered this film, Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans (Hero n' Villan) are absolutely the best part of the movie.
|Available Now On Netflix| - DirectorFelicity MorrisStarsSimon LevievCecilie FjellhøyKristoffer KumarPosing as a wealthy, jet-setting diamond mogul, he wooed women online, then conned them out of millions of dollars. Now some victims plan for payback.I forgot how dark The Tinder Swindler was when I watched this on Demand, It was one the documentary films of the year, and has a pin of interest with the real story between two couples who were Cecilie Fjellhøy and Simon Leviv, I recommend you take a look at this if you'd never seen a documentary film in your life.
|Available Now On Netflix| - DirectorAnna FoersterStarsAllison JanneyJurnee SmollettLogan Marshall-GreenA storm rages. A young girl is kidnapped. Her mother teams up with the mysterious woman next door to pursue the kidnapper, a journey that tests their limits and exposes shocking secrets from their pasts.I found Lou to be a pretty good thriller, features a young girl getting kidnapped by her father (?), I was heavily inspired by that.
|Available Now On Netflix| - DirectorTommy WirkolaStarsDavid HarbourJohn LeguizamoBeverly D'AngeloAn elite team of mercenaries breaks into a family compound on Christmas Eve, taking everyone hostage. However, they aren't prepared for a surprise combatant: Santa Claus is on the grounds, and he's about to show why this Nick is no saint. From the director who made "Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters" Another fan favourite of mine, The producer of "Nobody", The film released before this, The "Stranger Things" actor David Harbour, and the writer of "Sonic The Hedgehog" films comes one whacky comedy action that made me laugh like hell, Well done Violent Night.
- DirectorPetr JáklStarsBen FosterSophie LoweMichael CaineThe story of fifteenth century Czech icon and warlord, Jan Zizka, who defeated armies of the Teutonic Order and the Holy Roman Empire."Medieval" tells the story of the ancient AD times and the profit they give in great Czech offered to their Slovakian people, and I actually really liked this one.
- DirectorDavid O. RussellStarsChristian BaleMargot RobbieJohn David WashingtonIn the 1930s, three friends witness a murder, are framed for it, and uncover one of the most outrageous plots in American history."Amsterdam" has one of the biggest cast I have ever seen yet, From Christian Bale all the way to Rami Malek as they tell the exact history beyond certain reliefs ever since the war began, and my thoughts were maybe the critics were wrong about this and I need to say to be a great film as resulted.
- DirectorSam RaimiStarsBenedict CumberbatchElizabeth OlsenChiwetel EjioforDoctor Strange teams up with a mysterious teenage girl who can travel across multiverses, to battle other-universe versions of himself which threaten to wipe out the multiverse. They seek help from the Scarlet Witch, Wong and others. There were some parts that were hit or miss in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, It's not as good as the first Doctor Strange movie and the villan's backstory was unidenticle, but at the same time does have heartwarming elements and diversity action sequences leading and hands pathing from the previous which I still quite enjoyed to this day.
- DirectorJames CameronStarsSam WorthingtonZoe SaldanaSigourney WeaverJake Sully lives with his newfound family formed on the extrasolar moon Pandora. Once a familiar threat returns to finish what was previously started, Jake must work with Neytiri and the army of the Na'vi race to protect their home.I've watched Avatar: The Way of Water with my sister and her boyfriend two days ago, we seemed to like it but we all know it's not a masterpiece compared to the first "Avatar", It perhaps is the longest I'd ever seen on the big screen and managed to stay awake through the whole 3 hours, but few may be wondering James Cameron used to be the king of Expensive movies and highest gross films and now this does go by a new era, the ending was just a little too long.
- DirectorDaniel KwanDaniel ScheinertStarsMichelle YeohStephanie HsuJamie Lee CurtisA middle-aged Chinese immigrant is swept up into an insane adventure in which she alone can save existence by exploring other universes and connecting with the lives she could have led.I know I was suppose to watch a Christmas film on exactly the day but to be honest all of them were crap so we started watching Everything Everywhere All at Once, sweet full nonsense and random plays that the action fight scenes can be fun, little silly but crazy, the writers did really well on how to craft a movie and whoever directed this, Great Job!
- DirectorGuillermo del ToroMark GustafsonStarsEwan McGregorDavid BradleyGregory MannA father's wish magically brings a wooden boy to life in Italy, giving him a chance to care for the child.Oh my, It's been a very long time since I'd saw a new Pinocchio film, this time with Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio expected to be slightly darker than this but it did have one scene that relates to the folk tale, I'm a huge Guillermo del Toro fan and I say this is pretty good, unlike the other Pinocchio's I had to suffer in the past, e.g "Pinocchio 3000".
|Available Now On Netflix| - DirectorRoar UthaugStarsIne Marie WilmannKim FalckMads Sjøgård PettersenDeep in the Dovre mountain, something gigantic wakes up after a thousand years in captivity. The creature destroys everything in its path and quickly approaches Oslo.I was inspired by the eyes of my prize when Troll came to the streaming service, this time something from Norway comes to mind it's not your ordinary adventure movie, It's similar to "The Iron Giant", but this time unfriendly.
|Available Now On Netflix| - DirectorShawn LevyStarsRyan ReynoldsWalker ScobellMark RuffaloAfter accidentally crash-landing in 2022, time-traveling fighter pilot Adam Reed teams up with his 12-year-old self for a mission to save the future. This movie was on my list of films to watch and when I first saw the preview I'm thinking why not put on the Adam Project, Exactly three times in row that Ryan Reynolds featured in a Netflix film barring "6 Underground" and "Red Notice", Mark Ruffalo and Zoe Saldana are in it as well, they all work together swiftly and delightful makes me feel like I'm on top of the tower waiting to see what happens next, and that's how I feel about this movie.
|Available Now On Netflix| - DirectorDavid LeitchStarsBrad PittJoey KingAaron Taylor-JohnsonFive assassins aboard a swiftly-moving bullet train find out that their missions have something in common. This one is insane, think of it as one gigantic thrill ride only focused on a Bullet Train with references from our childhood take place in Japan with all this insane action and crazy martial arts, that's what you call a great time.
- DirectorRobert EggersStarsAlexander SkarsgårdNicole KidmanClaes BangA young Viking prince is on a quest to avenge his father's murder.I really hope The Northman makes it good enough to await at the oscars because of how well crafted the movie was and well directed Robert Eggers do ever since he made "The Lighthouse", another film I want to see by the way, It's gory, has great cinematography and famous in very short roles which I thought they'd star in more of it, now I know what a good movie really is.
- DirectorTetsuro KodamaStarsMasako NozawaAya HisakawaRyô HorikawaThe Red Ribbon Army from Goku's past has returned with two new androids to challenge him and his friends. The first ever Anime I experienced in theatres... ever, It's based around the Dragon Ball universe and I even saw on English dub, because in Japan they would have English subtitles, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero was very new and different as a Dragon Ball film, tho what is more impressive is the appearance or Dr. Hedo, he's the young Gru of Anime, I find this movie to be absolutely insane and I'm glad to see something animated and violent again.
- DirectorMatt ReevesStarsRobert PattinsonZoë KravitzJeffrey WrightWhen a sadistic serial killer begins murdering key political figures in Gotham, The Batman is forced to investigate the city's hidden corruption and question his family's involvement.Matt Reeve's version of The Batman has setting 85% night and 15% day, It's very dark, intense with amazing cinematography and incredible sound design, Robert Patterson's Batman was nowhere near perfect and it's still not as stunning as "The Dark Knight" but seriously... Paul Dano's Riddler was the best, I also like the actress of Catwoman, she did better than Anne Hathaway's, better than Michelle Pfeiffer's work and billion times better than Halle Berry's, altho there are four greater films on here so we're not done yet.
- DirectorTom GormicanStarsNicolas CagePedro PascalTiffany HaddishMoviestar Nick Cage is channeling his iconic characters as he's caught between a superfan and a CIA agent. And now prepare to be amazed from the desirable adventure of "Con Air" faces even more that meets the eye, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent is not a film, but a climatic experience like no other, the definition of Nick Cage's acting career, filled with pop culture references and amazing merchandise, rich man supplies associated with Hollywood vibes, Dominant figurines and theme parks sponsored and licensed by public authorities.
- DirectorRian JohnsonStarsDaniel CraigEdward NortonKate HudsonTech billionaire Miles Bron invites his friends for a getaway on his private Greek island. When someone turns up dead, Detective Benoit Blanc is put on the case. You don't even have to see "Knives Out" to watch this Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery because it was told by the explanation of the murder scene, there was one detective out there, and a helper, a Billionaire who has the Glass Onion on top of his home filled with sensational times and also needed to check out the ending and that's what made it even more superior.
|Available Now On Netflix| (Do Not Miss This). - DirectorRyan CooglerStarsLetitia WrightLupita Nyong'oDanai GuriraThe people of Wakanda fight to protect their home from intervening world powers as they mourn the death of King T'Challa. The Best film of the Phase 5 MCU of the year, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has very breathtaking feels and sad scenes and loveable crafts and design ever achieved in the whole of the MCU, nothing like the first "Black Panther" film that was dedicated to Chadwick Boseman after he passed away in 2020 since his last film the year before, R.I.P Boseman, gone but not forgotten.
- DirectorJoel CrawfordJanuel MercadoStarsAntonio BanderasSalma HayekHarvey GuillénWhen Puss in Boots discovers that his passion for adventure has taken its toll and he has burned through eight of his nine lives, he launches an epic journey to restore them by finding the mythical Last Wish.Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is a badass sequel, much better than the original back in 2011, this one just have greater character development with very clever personalities, Purrito ended up as a loving and charming pup rather than an obxnious side character, Goldilocks and the three bears were more than just classic fairy tales, they are rebels in the best way possible, and Death (Big Bad Wolf) was if not the best villain in animated history.
- DirectorJoseph KosinskiStarsTom CruiseJennifer ConnellyMiles TellerAfter thirty years, Maverick is still pushing the envelope as a top naval aviator, but must confront ghosts of his past when he leads TOP GUN's elite graduates on a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those chosen to fly it.What a remarkable juggernaut this film was, Top Gun: Maverick takes the classic "Top Gun" to a whole new level, Tom Cruise keeps getting better with films lately and he'll stay standing for long periods even when he is getting older while I'm entirely amazed by and means exactly why this was the biggest hit of the year, nearly everything else struggled to be as great as this.
