NOLA follows Guy, a 40 something womanizer (played by Tom Schanley), who comes to terms with the void he has created in his life due to his whimsical existence. His future flashes before him when his only son disowns him. A young girl, Nola, (played by Zosia Mamet), who is a physical manifestation of his innocence, as well as his muse, points out that it is never too late to mend your ways. The one woman in Guy's life who truly cares for him, despite his ways, is Miki (Rachel Morihiro). With his eyes finally open, Guy reaches for one last chance with Miki.

Elizabeth Nelson Adams, Ph.D. was an artist and poet from Columbia, South Carolina. Her paintings spanned many artistic styles (expressionism, figurativism, realism, portraiture, and more) and she created art in a range of artistic formats, including painting, drawings, lithographs, sculpture, and printmaking. She worked in the United States, Malawi, and Italy. Her poetry reflected the many facets of her eclectic life. This short documentary captures one of her art shows in Los Angeles, California.
