An Edinburgh professor and assorted colleagues follow an explorer's trail down an extinct Icelandic volcano to the earth's center.

Arrogant pop singer Andy (Pat Boone) is about to be divorced by his wife (Barbara Eden), who treats his staff badly. On the same night he starts a job at a theater in Los Angeles, his infant son is kidnapped. Despite requests from the lead police officer on the case, Lieutenant Bonner (Jack Klugman), Paxton plays along with the kidnappers as they string him along although they are willing to kill.

Pat performs a heart-warming You & Me Against The World to his grandson, Debby and Parker duet on Love Story, the Boone sisters hit the dance floor and the entire family teams up for (Your Love Has Lifted Me) Higher & Higher.

Pat Boone & Family Easter Special celebrates the holiday at home as the Boones welcome Ted Knight and Katherine Helmond in addition to comic John Byner. The family roller skates on location in Los Angeles while singing Ease On Down The Road, the Boone girls perform If They Could See Me Now while showcasing their choreography skills and then join their parents for Let There Be Peace On Earth.

Pat goes Christmas shopping, and finds Stubby Kaye working as a Department Store Santa Claus. He sings "Jubilation T. Cornpone" from the Broadway musical "Lil' Abner".
