This repertory cast present tales of folklore in the self-narrating style of story theatre.

McNair became one of the first Black women to host her own TV variety show; it ran three seasons and featured big names like Sonny and Cher, The Righteous Brothers, Tony Bennett, Johnny Mathis, and more. McNair often sang on the show.

TV special which showcases Raquel Welch's talents as a singer, dancer, and comedienne. Welch not only sings such hit songs as "Everybody's Talkin'," "Games People Play," "The Sound of Silence," and "California Dreamin'," but also visits an orphanage in Mexico with John Wayne, sings a medley of songs with Tom Jones, and does the comedy sketch "Rocky Raccoon" with Bob Hope as well as performs dance numbers and travels all over the world.

Ann-Margret starts her journey to Hollywood from the countryside, traversing the Freeway until she gets to Hollywood. The first segment is titled "The Game Called Hollywood" which follows a young star-to-be (Ann-Margret) from nobody to star using a giant board game metaphor. Dean Martin joins Ann-Margret for a song medley sequence that is part country and part pop music. A comedy sequence has Larry Storch reporting on the two sides of the marriage of Dean Martin and Ann-Margret. Lucille Ball plays both herself and an autograph hound in a show business song and dance sequence. The finale finds Ann-Margret doing an on-location tribute to the USO with the Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band.
