UnPerfect Christmas Wish (2021 TV Movie)

Soooo Canadian

This might be the most Canadian Movie I've ever seen. The sets all look "sound stage" fake. Story has that typical bad guy, good guy storyline. The secondary actors & actresses, especially Jackie (Bukola Ayoka) could use some acting lessons. The story just drags along. There is no connection between any of the characters. You'll notice actress Valerie Boyle who is in every other Hallmark/Lifetime movie.

I gave a few stars cause the lead actress (Alys Crocker) is stunningly Canadian beautiful. Check it out if your bored on a Friday night like me and u want a good laugh or to see a stunningly beautiful Canadian actress (Crocker).

It was starting to get uncomfortable how the main actress was so aggressive and flirty with the male lead (sorry his names escapes me)

Also, what was a point making a character with CP? Im only 3/4 through the movie, so I apologize if they bring the child in, but I see know point of having a CP character and not elaborating on it.

Height of the debauchery and free love in the U.S.

This episode aired in February 1979 during the peak of the "free love", pre-AIDS era in the United States. It perfectly captures the mood of the time as sex was SUPER casual. Jack literally almost has sex with Chrissy and we didn't blink an eye. As the show got into the later seasons in 1983 & 1984, this episode would have never made it to air as the times had changed. This is a classic early episode and a must watch.

I haven't watched "Wresting" in almost 15 years. I also am not fan of new shows. When people talk about those pretentious new Netflix shows, I usually turn the other cheek.

STARZ has been over-hyping the hell out of it, so I gave it a shot at 5am before work. I was glued from the first minute. Perfectly paced, great acting, and the 3 main female leads are gorgeous!! (check out Alison Luff's shape). Also, Mary McCormack is no spring chicken and she is still rocking that voluptuous body and her acting is on point.

This pilot laid the groundwork for the season and I cannot wait for the 2nd episode!! I highly recommend this to non wrestling fans as much and maybe more to hardcore nerds out there! Check it out!!

First off.....why does every family in every Lifetime Movie live in a expensive mansion? Can't we see a normal house??

Second....the lead actor mumbles like WWE wrestler "The Big Show" and needs some more acting lessons.

Lastly.....Once you see secondary characters like the "best friend" and the ex-hubby, you know they are in trouble.

Anyone else find it disturbing that Randy (Molly Ringwald) gets in Jack's (Downey Jr.) car 2 minutes after meeting him?.....then she has sex in his car right after.

Also the ending song before "Casanova" by Levert kicks in makes the movie even more horrible.

The only plus of the movie is seeing shots of vintage 1986 New York City. It used to be a great place.

Horrible premise. Let's leave a super troubled 17 year old girl with a 65 Japanese man who speaks very little English that I just met, so I can go live in his house for a month.

Only good thing about movie is Julie's (Hilary Swank) body is insanely hot!! Eric is a lucky guy on Prom Night.

The writers of this episode must of had some experience in drugs, cause they nailed this unfortunate situation to the tee! Everybody has been in situation of being at the mercy of a drug dealer's arrival. Lisa Whelchel & the actor who played Nick(Byrd) should of received Emmy considerations.

I am very familiar with this amazing true story from 1982. Unfortunately, the film makers decided to spend their budget on high-priced good looking actors, rather then getting the facts straight or the special effects.

Animal Planet did this story much better.

"Chorus Line Angels" is so bad, it's funny. The long drown out dance numbers are comical and Jaclyn Smith looks uncomfortable and embarrassed performing them. The episode was directed by David Doyle (Bosley) and is almost as bad as the ATROCIOUS "Marathon Angels" from the 1978-79 season.
