La casa de papel: Episode #5.9 (2021)
Emotion... and motion!
I waited... and waited! I have repeatedly waited. I kept thinking, maybe now, or after a while, the professor will say that this was the plan. This was the plan that everyone would be caught. Can't survive without being caught. Or, right now, the professor might say, "Everyone follow Plan B."
But the professor is not doing it. A latent pain inside a mind. He stands up again and again, but it seems he is being forced to the ground. We don't know this PROFESSOR!
Slow episode but it has to be slow now. That's why I feel emotion, I can feel the moment inside the bank. Looks like I'm in the bank. I want to go home but I can't. I am one of them. And ... I'm captured now. Mind blowing episode, the audience has been forced to feel what it feels like to be in such a situation.
Although I'm a little disappointed now. But I really enjoyed the episode. So much emotion and heart-touching scene.
Will it all end that way?
What a twist! Repeatedly I felt very bored for the flashback scene with Berlin's son. Now, the connection is found.
The series is back in it's 'unexpected twist' stream now. Wonderful! I knew, everyone knew that Berlin's son was going to join the heist. But who knew he would join with the heist, but not in the way that we had hoped for.
La casa de papel: Episode #5.7 (2021)
Back to the Mission!
After many fall of the professor, the episode is like returning to his form again. I liked this thrilling episode. Also, storytelling is faster than the previous episode. A thought came to my mind, again there is a chance that Sierra would change her mind. Let's see.
A very slow episode! Again the same kind of unnecessary story! Think about how good the series was in the first two seasons and how it is now?
This episode is very close to the end of the series. Why so many flashbacks at this time? I know these scenes makes sense but to me, these are now a little annoying. It is now obviously understood that they are trying to make the series bigger by force.
The good thing in the episode is the emotion for Tokyo. The magic door! I liked this. I'm waiting to see Berlin's son in the heist. Let's see what happens next.
Watched the IMAX version! Best solo since Iron Man (2008)! I had no expectations of this before. But the movie is much more lively. Enjoyed every moment. And also very engaging from start to finish. A kinda Cute-Action movie with some fun stuff!
This is the first movie that focuses more on martial arts than Marvel's superpower thing. Love to see a mix of Marvel's MASTER-LEVEL-CGI with Martial art. Kung-Fu with this kind of visual effect! Marvel nailed it again.
I've always loved Marvel's casting. Katy is too perfect for her role. Loved her chemistry with Shaun. Also laughed out loud at her childish stuffs.
Just one thing, not a big deal, the action scene of 'Dragon Riding' doesn't fit into the usual Marvel movie. But as Chinese flavor, it is OK. Except for this, the cinematography and VFX are a lot mesmerizing!
Tess of the D'Urbervilles (2008)
As a novel adaptation, it's wonderful.
Tess of the d'Urbervilles, a famous novel in the nineteenth century, by a tragic novelist of the Victorian era, Thomas Hardy. Although it is technically a nineteenth-century work, the nature of its content and its treatment are predictive of the twentieth century. Thomas Hardy focuses on human suffering and shows that there is no escape from human beings from suffering. His tragic heroes and heroines are free from tragic flaws. In the case of this novel, Tess of the d'Urbervilles; Alec, Angel, and Fate are responsible for Tess's tragic ending.
Hardy gives a glimpse that fate plays a vital role in our life. Fate has played with Tess. Fate has also acknowledged Tess's tragic ending. The Durbeyfield family's horse, Prince is killed in an accident, and this causes Tess to look for a job in the d'Urberville family. Another notable mistake that profoundly affected Tess's life was her written confession, pushing it under Angel's door, going under the carpet, and not reaching Angle.
I liked the casting so much. I mean, they are so much perfect for the novel's character. Hats off to those, who are behind this series. They made the atmosphere almost the same as the Victorian era. The Cinematography, BGM, Scenery, Emotion is top-notch! The whole series is a little bit slow. But as a tragic story, it has to be. Otherwise, it is stunning.
Oh, I just feel the emotion of the episode. So many tragic events of Tess. I just loved with the actress, who played Tess. She is so much perfect for this role. Her expression and emotion almost makes me to cry.
Touched my heart!
Thomas Hardy nailed it! Seriously, the episode touched my heart. Throughout the episode I wondered how Tess survived so much suffering! And I blame Angel most for this. Tess accepted Angel's past. But Angel could not accept Tess's past. How cruel he is!
Also, I liked the cinematography and BGM throughout the episode.
Another good episode. Nice flow in the story. The episode is all about Tess and Angel. Loved their chemistry.
As a novel adaptation, I can say, Thomas Hardy is trying to give his audience so much emotion for Tess. This episode shows some of Tess's tragic moments. First, she gave birth to a child, and it died a few days after birth. He also refused to bury his own child. Then, the letter of her confession, pushing it under Angel's door, going under the carpet, and not reaching Angel.
A good start. A little slow but catchy. Enjoyed the episode. Actor Hans Matheson, who played Alec D'Urberville, is great in his character.
Excellent adaptation from the novel.
Ojing-eo geim: Unsu Joeun Nal (2021)
Loved the last twist. So much has happened in one episode. Some extreme twists and some unexpected moments. The old man, Oh Il-Name, was out of level. He is too good at his acting.
A beautiful ending to the season. It's a little stronger ending. They have made their way to the second season. Waiting for the second!
Ojing-eo geim: Front Man (2021)
Man!!! I fell in love with the character who played Sae-byeok. She is very realistic throughout the series. In this episode, she has crossed the line. Great acting performance!
But the episode was too short. Only a few minor plot developments for the final episode. Nothing more!
Ojing-eo geim: VIPS (2021)
Another great episode! Liked the sudden death of some familiar character. Yes, I wanted it. Previously, I had already guessed what was going to happen and who would die. And my prediction came true. But here, some unexpected things with some satisfaction.
But why those VIPs? I mean, the show is going well with the gameplay flow. What is the reason for keeping them here? Just for the police officer, they put VIPs on the show. It was not needed.
Ojing-eo geim: Kkanbu (2021)
Best so far!
We learned from the previous game, in the 4th episode, that we should trust people. If we don't know them, we should trust anyway. But here, the episode showed us a completely different situation. This was the reality. We are being betrayed by our own trusted people always. Also on the other hand, we get help from our own trusted people.
The best episode so far. Wonderful suspense and variety of excitement. So much emotion that I couldn't hold back the tears.
Loved the episode! Completely exciting and thrilling. The story revolves around it.
I like the example of equality. They have no mercy on anyone. Those who have broken the rules have been killed. Either this is a player or a worker.
Trust, Trust and Trust!
Top-notch! This episode is the best till now. Full of suspense and thrill.
Trust people, if you don't know him, trust! If you know him, trust him! You have to trust people because you need them to survive. The last scene was awesome too. Creating too much excitement, and suddenly it's ending. That was clever.
Why this title?
This title is clearly a spoiler. Those who already know the game method will know who will take the umbrella. It's a kinda spoiler to me. Don't know the perspective of the other.
One thing, I already guessed what was going to happen. Otherwise, it's a good episode.
Ojing-eo geim: Ji-ok (2021)
This episode is important! We didn't know the struggle and real-life problems of those people. What is the reason behind the fact that they came to play games?
Now we know. It's a little bit slow episode but necessary. I liked the way of storytelling. The writer puts an emotion on them. It's now getting attractive.
Vision ... and vision!
A totally unique plot. Wanda got Vision with her vision. Isn't it? I am astonished by the fact that how much effort Marvel gives to making those episodes totally similar to 70s or 80s sitcoms. Hats off!
Wanda Maximoff aka Elizabeth Olsen and Vision aka Paul Bettany! Wonderful acting! Their chemistry was so cool.
Though the first 3 episodes were kinda boring to me. I know it was a wonderful sitcom and I am aware of the fact that these 3 episodes were the main path of the series. But don't know, I'm not enjoying these first 3 episodes.
Good flow for the series. But it's normal. Not unique. I really liked the action scene and that's it.
Some interesting and hilarious scenes between Sam and Bucky. Their chemistry is very enjoyable.
Looks like the new CAP character, John Walker, is going to be interesting. But he's not Steve. Steve was always thinking about what to do and he had a plan. But I see John shooting an enemy very quickly without much thought. That's not the Captain America character we are all familiar with. Cap, I mean Steve likes hand-to-hand combat the most.
Hope to see some exciting story in the next episodes.
A good entertaining start. I'm so much surprised to see Gong Yoo here. The game reminded me of my childhold. I liked the way that those characters were developing. Emotion, thrill, family problem all in one episode.
The concept is good. But not clear as we see in Alice in Borderland. What is the purpose of Game owner? Hope to see the purpose in next episodes.
I don't know why people are saying this as a best pilot of all time. It doesn't seems like that. Yes, it's good but not the best.
The first action scene was awesome. Didn't expect this type of promising start in the first of this series.
But the whole episode was a little boring. Love to see that Bucky is taking treatment and wants to adapt with everyone as Cap did before. And Marvel did a good job that they focus on Sam's family problem. Even though he is an Avengers, but he also has a money crisis.
Oh, I love to live!
Hands down! This is by far one of Pixar's greatest movies. Pixar has a reputation for making movies that both kids and adults enjoy but with Soul they have taken it to a new level. Stunning visuals and animation, likable characters, humor sprinkled throughout the plot, and an existential, inspirational storyline.
Every Human has a soul, what happens when it splits?
We get so caught up in our careers, aspirations & purpose that we lose sight of the small delicacies of life. We spend so much time doing other things or focusing on things that drain our life away that's sometimes we forget to look up and see the beauty that surrounds us. The SKY, the MUSIC, the FOOD we eat, and the once in a lifetime moments we get to experience.
In trying to find our purpose in life most of us forget to live. We've become so obsessed with the idea of having a purpose that is bigger than ourselves. But this shouldn't be the case! Actually, our purpose is simply to be good people and live.
Life is a journey. It's not so much about the ending result, but more so enjoying the process. Learn to live every moment of your life.
Oh, I love to live.
'Soul' is another masterpiece of animation and storytelling from Pixar. I'd recommend Pixar's "Soul" if you've ever had the following: A teacher who made a difference An interest in music A cat An interest in the afterlife Trouble trying to make "your thing" work A subway ride A very special student A struggle with a family member A really weird friend A loved one who's passed on A time you've stood at the top of a mountain, or on a beach, or watched people walk by holding hands, or listened to your mom's laugh, or FINALLY learned that one thing you've been trying and thought, "this is what it's all about."
Excellent movie, really makes you think. If you haven't watched it yet, please do.
Sex Education: Episode #3.5 (2021)
Dream Comes True!
Best episode so far. What a episode it was! I waited for this moment so long. And finally got it!
Everyone is saying the episode was good. But damned sure, they aren't saying about the episode, they are saying about that 5 minutes conversation!
Loved it. I can't express that how happy I am now. No, I know it's just a series. But, but I feels like it's mine. It's about me. One more thing, I don't wanna see Isaac again with Maeve, I can't like this guy!
Sex Education (2019)
I must say, the show is ahead of its time. The process of giving real-life messages and sex education is perfect. I think every teenager should watch this. In many countries, sex is viewed as a source of shame and hidden things. It's like a taboo. The writer kicked out those weird thoughts with comedy. Kudos to the writer for making such a great story!
I liked the way how the characters were developed here. They introduced and developed each and every character in an equal effort. In the first two seasons, it's almost like a comedy with a real-life message. But in the third season, It becomes an emotion.
The writer put every little detail of the teenage problem. The series highlights almost every situation a teenager faces. It brings up many school memories and thoughts!
I would drown in it when I was watching this. That helped me a lot to stay depression-free and enjoy the present moment. There is a latent message to really enjoy life. Loved the series a lot! Waiting for season 4.
