Cuba and the Cameraman (2017)
What a Shame
Well despite this guys hope for the revolution to take off and his fawning of Castro the camera does not lie. It shows the slow destruction of the country that blames it all on the US embargo, This despite the fact that Cuba willingly trades with a host of other countries including America. It shows the destruction of free speech when a family member of Luis refuses to admit he wants to leave Cuba on film. His omission gets him a reading of the riot act by a family member. It shows a place that does not change in 45 years. Vivid la Revolucion.
The Cuba Libre Story (2015)
Not Bad
Everyone on either side gets shot at here and a lot of the reviewers here just want their politics better represented.
And while we're on that subject it would have been nice to show that the country with the best health care has no medicine and how a once prosperous country has been ruined. Yes the mob controlled the casinos, they do that in the US too.....
The Shape of Water (2017)
A lot like Splash (1984)
The film reminded me a lot of Splash from a female perspective. I think she was a fish too btw. Anyone notice the two nudes they used looked different from behind?
