Severance (2022)
Severed
Good concept with excellent production values but had to sever after 2 episodes and switch over to watching a show about paint drying, it has more pace than this baby. Pity, woulda/coulda been better executed.
The Foreigner (2017)
An absolute cracker British action dramas
Great construct well led by Pierce Brosnan and Jackie Chan out to right wrongs in a departure from his prior martial arts style movies. Definitely a solid watch, you won't be disappointed, unless you have a preference for soap operas.
Blackhat (2015)
Better than the rating suggests
Almost overlooked this movie because of the overall low rating and the extreme volatility of individual ratings from list of 4s to lots of 8s. This is worth the watch, good construction, couple of dodgy role selections but nothing that materially detracts so go watch it.
Suspicion (2022)
Promising start, then downhill from there
This series started with promise but by episode 3 it became less suspicious and deadly boring. Pity, the idea had potential but the execution isn't there.
Money Court (2021)
It's a dog!
This show is a complete dog. They need to take it out the back and shoot it, quickly, put it and us out of our collective misery.
The Mosquito Coast (2021)
Coulda, shoulda
Fell well short because the writing team tried to milk the story to the point of 'who cares' by episode 4....so we didn't and moved on.
Gangs of London (2020)
Way Beyond Gritty, It's a Cracker
Beautifully produced and executed (literally), like the best of books, it's tough to put down. Don't miss it, it's a must see!
Miss Sloane (2016)
Exceptional!
Jessica Chastain is outstanding in a storyline with more than a few twists.
The Day of the Jackal (1973)
Never fails to entertain
Saw it first in 1973, and have watched it many times since. Its craftsmanship never fails to entertain!
Sarah Cooper: Everything's Fine (2020)
Gotta love it when the reviews are funnier than the show!
Love your work Sarah, but this one missed the mark 🎯
