I renounce my wish to watch this movie. That's a good way to put it.

Very poorly written plot and script. Everything was a mess with serious plot holes and things that didn't have any rhyme or reason just happened.

Only reason I give it 2 stars is there were 3 times I laughed. Does that make it worth 2.5 hours? Probably not.

Top Secret! (1984)

I don't understand...

It's so stupid it's hilarious. My husband and I were laughing nearly the entire movie and I found myself repeating, "What is even happening?!" over and over. But yet...it's somehow incredibly entertaining.

Excellent remake

Excellent remake of Jimmy Stewart's 1940 The Shop Around the Corner - they could have changed he script a little more, a majority of the scenes are nearly work for word of the original. Not as good as the original - but the acting was phenomenal and the storyline just can't die. I fully enjoyed this musical (and was grateful they didn't try to put too many songs, but instead keep the story flowing). Judy Garland is wonderful, charming and hilarious in this role.
