I suppose , for an Eastern, a simple to understand ( and feel ) story about love for child of a lonely father , for the care for daughter understanding very little about frequent calls of her dad and his presumed naif questions .
The essence remains the physical aspect of this intense wish to remain near your child. The tones of green are the efficient tool for suggest a state, answer, reaction to a crisis who evict the life by sense. The last scene offers the fair answer to the viewers perceiving as too creepy the situation. A simple story reminding, in profound beautiful manner, essential truth.

A phone message from ex wife saved by a man.
A bunch of thieves and their bad luck.
And the expression of affection, in literal manner , the marriage becoming neverending.
Each of them makes this very short film more a good horror but definition of a form, not so rare, of addiction. And a profound interesting perspective about loneliness, attachment and intervention of strangers in a too private, sensitive aspect of life .
Inspired image, nice performance . And the refuge in a menace with very pragmatic final. Almost a story deserving be loved. And this makes Matrimonz less creepz but prettz ...touching.

Its realism. This is the key . You recognize your dreams structure and this transforms it in familiar experience.
The powerful thought about david Lynch art.
And the inspired use of repetition, provocative cut and the house as main actor.
Maya Deren and her special beauty.
The key/knif/masked character/sleep in armchair and the final offering presumed reasonable solution to the trip across suconscious.
A classic experimental short film, inspiration for classics , enveiling the viewer in silk of dream , offering the thrill about too familiar scenes and impressing for modernism.
For me, a great experience for who i am grateful.
