Mr. & Mrs. (2018)
Mr. & Mrs. Gupta - best couple in the city
The story takes you into the life of an urban couple, their quarrels, happy moments and their interactions with maid, neighbors and in laws.
The lead cast packs the punch with their chemistry. They complement each other very well. Biswapati Sarkar's writing and acting is great.
There isn't much to add for production values, the whole drama mostly takes place inside the house.
Each episode is 10-15 minutes long and they are not in chronology. You can watch any episode any time and as many times as you want.
Kota Factory (2019)
The big Indian engineering dream
Hats off!! This is tremendously executed. It was 100% reality speaking on the canvas.
A boy in the new city with big dreams to get into the prestigious IIT. His struggle, friends, crush, teachers and the fun, sadness, comedy, drama and emotions shown with utter brilliance.
The direction, mono colored cinematography, acting was just superb. Jeetu bhaiya as always steals the show.
Highly recommended for any IIT aspirant and any person who once was a student. You will relive your journey.
Udaan (2010)
Udaan of dreams
It is about an expelled student's journey of becoming a man from a boy.
The story showcases the goods and bads of the youth, the parent-child relation and friendship in a very mature way.
The ending seems a little rushed, but achieves the goal that it started of with.
The supporting actors shines throughout the movie, the lead actor is a debutante and it feels like missing some elements in few scenes.
Overall a good watch. Especially for the parents who forces their child to follow their footsteps.
The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
Hope can set you free
Wonderful, wonderful movie.
It starts from a convict hoping for something and it beautifully shows the whole journey fulfilling the hope. Not for a moment I thought, I was watching a movie, it felt like living each moment.
The plot summary says story of 2 prisoners, but I was moved by third one story.
And the ending it was a sheer surprise, I was stunned to say the least.
Must watch for anyone who hopes for something.
