Great Fun...

In my opinion this movie is really an example of movie vs. expectations...

This movie didn't play in Greece (so it didn't get advertised) so when I saw it I expected nothing except from the brilliant duo of Jackie Chan and Jet Li..

What I was left with was entertainment! And that's the point isn't it? It wasn't perfect , It wasn't original , It didn't follow the tradition of Chinese mythology , the acting was average , the script was corny/cliché and some other things that, like the previously mentioned weren't enough to make me dislike this movie!

The photography is magical, the scenery is just awesome, the relations with the characters is easy and the script, although a mixture of Chinese myth, comes of nicely and really pays at the end..

A lot of people emphasize on the fact that it was way corny.. I thing that with a million times told story like this, corny was the only way and trying to be original would lead to a disaster..

Now, I can see that the producers didn't give enough effort with the movie as a whole when they managed to get Jackie and Jet on board (I guess), and that's sad, but the total outcome is a very nice story you are going to enjoy!
