Khamoshiyan (2015)

Its very sad to see such mockery in the genre "Horror",( sorry they don't need horror no longer, they got a sub genre called erotic horror/erotic thriller or simply horrex)..The most pathetic fact is that we will get even more better story from some old B grade horror films..

Scare, sex the pattern is itself repeating, and be honest it disappoints by all the way.. The plot is very ridiculous and unbelievable.. Why they are repeating the tested formula of "Main stream B grade" films..

I don't want to say the story, you can guess it ! What was so raunchy and erotic in the movie that it got an A certificate? At once you would be clueless seeing Sapna Pabbi stripping off and then Ali Fazal trying to make love to her in the very first meet!! Don't waste your time by watching this so called horror film! One minute silence please!

The Midnight Meat Train (2008)

Midnight meat train is a good horror/torture porn film, that all what we can state. First of all its neither an award winning horror nor a very bad B movie. Don't try to read any spoiler review here. I have to give four out of five for its stunning visuals(Surprised me).

OK, based on a short story, they done what they can. But the acting is not up to the mark. The emotional seen were turned very funny. Any way they won to keep the audience on their seat until the film ends.

The movie is not for the faint hearts. From the beginning itself the movie starts showing blood and meat.Everyone had better read IMDb parents guide before watching it.

Final Word : A typical torture porn horror film. go for it !

Spider (2007)

*Avoidable* Who said it is great??

I don't know why this short getting too much positive reviews! Short films are intended to create a sea of ideas within a short period of time. I saw some terrific short films in recent times such as Room 8 , La culpa , with Mind blowing twists.

But spider got a wafer thin and uninteresting plot.It might be more pleasing if its trimmed into a shorter length.With a running time of 9 minutes it create extreme lagging.

So, if you are looking for an interesting short with a good plot twist its not your cup of tea.You had better search Google for any other one.

Final verdict: Poor short film with an uninteresting plot.

La culpa (2010)

*Recommended* Oh, Dear..!! Brilliant..!

La culpa (The Guilt) Is a brilliant work from director David Victori. The hero has only one thing in his mind, to kill his enemy who murdered his pregnant wife.

The movie use different colour tones to distinguish the good and bad throughout the movie. A good inspection will reveal the idea behind each colour tone.

The movie starts well and normally , but after some time it turned out to be a fantasy or mystery thriller.Like other thriller movies, The guilt don't got a jaw dropping pay off, but its climax got the potential to make us watch the short again.

Now i'm searching for David Victori's debut short "Reacción"..!

Final word : Brilliant short, go for it..!

Law Point (2014)

While watching a thriller film we usually expect a lot of tension, twist &turn and finally a good pay off. Of course law point got all the above mentioned factors, but the thing is that all of them are irritating and silly.

Even with a running time of 90 minutes we feel extreme lagging , also become clueless because of unwanted characters and poor character development. The most ridiculous part is The Climax.

Lock Up (2011)

*Avoidable* Waste of Time..!

I expect a good flick from bloody cuts..But this one really disappointed me.. OK it is very difficult to create a good film with in 4 minutes.. But Lock Up is cursed with very bad writing..

There is no good story in lock up..OK now we know that every horror short will have a jump scare scene..

The most sad fact about lock up is that the jump scare did not worked well (For Me)..The shorts Like "Amys Torch" and "Daddy" Gives better jump scares..

The lead actor done a great job though he has not much to do.The location is also very good.. But it did not create a creepy atmosphere..

Final Word : Its just 4 minute long so take a look.. But it is not a good horror short..I will not recommend it personally..

OK.. First of i have to tell that it is not a creepy horror show.. Yes of course it is a good horror movie without much jump scares.. It is neither good nor bad.. It really entertained me throughout :) If you are a B Movie lover then it is well suited for you..the technical side of the movie is wonderful..this movie delivered more than i actually expected.

It is not so serious.. And we will not have much tension while watching this movie..i watched it when i was very young so i did not like to view the movie as a critic.

Final Word : Good Entertainment Watch It..!

Dead Man's Lake (2012)

Dead Mans Lake Is a refreshing horror short that bring us back to our childhood Horror scenario..! Dead mans lake is felt like a full length movie upon its starting itself..The movie tells about some tragic events that faced by three people in a weird forest.The movie start slowly and beautifully with eye catching locations along with a good chemistry between the lead characters.After developing a good plot the movie starts delivering what we expect from a horror flick.

There is an excellent twist in this movie that really made me to watch the whole movie once again..!

Final Word : An excellent movie ! It will give us a classical horror feast With a Good TWIST..!

Daddy (2012 Video)

Daddy is a short that every horror fans must watch..When i saw the title i expect something like Horror short mama but it is totally different.

Daddy start with a little girl trying to wake up his dad.Suddenly the plot turn to a thrilling one.

The director won to create the necessary tension with very quick time and the excellent visuals give a rich feel along with fantastic music.

The Little girl done a great job and her daddy too.There is one more character in this short as Her mother (Only voice not shown in screen).

Final Word: Its a capsule horror you must watch..!

Of Course Its One Of The Most Hilarious Movie Of Recent Times..! Quick Gun Murugan Is Actually A Spoof Of Old Indian Movies And It Really Won What The Directors Intended With It.

For Example We Have McDosa..! A terrific Name for a Dosa Company..like That the movie is filled with real fun ideas and we'll have a smile on our face until the end of movie.

Rajendra Prasad And Nasser Lead the Show along with Sandya Mridul And Rambha.A Special mention needed for Rambha for Her gorgeous appearance as Heroin in colorful Out fits..! Final Word : Go For It.. Its A Fun Ride!

Lankadahanam Is a Funny Thriller and It is not so bad.The movie is filled With Some expected Clichés And Some Funny Incidents.But the Movie Is Just OK to keep us on the seat.

Prem Nazir Our Evergreen Super Star Done Well to Entertain Us.I Don't Know How many Times i Saw Him In Similar Roles but still Feeling The Freshness.The Underground Set Up And A Humorous Climax Fight Is The Trade Mark Of Classical Thrillers..Lankadahanam got All Those Cult Set Up..!

If You Like To See Some Classical Thrillers Must Watch It.Its Not A Big Fish But Still Entertaining One Final Word : Watch For Some Fun..!

Christopher Lee Done His Career Best Performance as Dracula.Yes The Movie Is Very Old , So It Give Us A Classic Feel. The Each Characters Will Still Renamin In Our Mind For A Long Long Time.

Don't Hesitate To See This..This is a movie That Everyone Must Watch.Special Mention Needed For The Background And That Is Just Awesom.The Climax Is One Of Best Part Of The Movie..! Final Word: Watch This Cult Classic For A Never Before Entertainment..!

I have to Give it a 80% Review..! Because I really expect a very bad sequel as usual like other movies..But Dawn of the planet of apes really a surprise package.

Yes it has an outstanding script,Acting,Visuals More over its really fun to watch.

Plot: Ten years after the start of an epidemic that wiped out most of humanity, Caesar and the evolved apes following him come into contact with a band of human survivors. The fragile peace that they build is soon threatened by the specter of a war for domination of the planet.

Final Word : Go and Watch..I don't want to say anything more..It really Worth your Money..!

Parankimala (2014)

Not Up To The Mark..!

We saw many remakes of old Malayalam classics in recent years..Sadly All of them failed to create an Impact.

Parankimala got a promising start and slowly it start losing things here and there.The Casting was not too good and There is no good chemistry between hero and heroine.

The background score was just OK and the songs were also pretty good.Parankimala Has some good visuals but it fails to deliver what we expect from a remake of cult classic.

Final Word : You can watch it for a time pass and did not expect a good love story..! Sex&Nudity : The movie has no explicit scenes but mild love making scenes and cleavage show.

Nothing Good About it...! This is very lazy written and executed Product..! There is no story, No character development and nothing entertain you.I don't like to said much about the background Music.It is really irritating..! of course The movie has some stunning visuals but for a movie the visuals are not enough.

If you are expecting a good gangster story you will definitely disappoint..! Just one word , Its a disaster and only watch if you have not any other Job..!

Konthayum Poonoolum Is a refreshing Psychological Thriller until first half but unfortunately it fails in all terms in second half.

The movie progress with different characters and different stories but they all link each other loosely while the movie progresses.

Some story has a paranormal connection while some with emotional Connection.

The Situations and problems created in first half is really interesting and engaging.But they failed to Solve them in second half and the bad script spoiled the party..! Final Verdict : Entertaining First Half And Badly scripted Second Half

Decent Vampire Flick..!

The movie has an excellent concept that make let us think about even after watching the movie.There is lot of movies in the horror category without a good plot and anything new,But Day breakers is an exception. The movie not intended to scare us but it thrill the viewers until the end. Story : In a world 10 years into the future, vampires make up the vast majority of the population with only 5% of the human race remaining. This presents particular challenges as the vampires' food supply - human blood - is dwindling and rationing is now the norm. There is growing evidence that vampires deprived of an adequate blood supply are themselves evolving into wild, vile creatures that attack anyone and anything in order to survive. Dr. Edward Dalton, a vampire and hematologist who works for a pharmaceutical firm, has been working on finding an artificial blood supply that will meet the vampire society's needs. He is sympathetic to humans and sees his work as a way of alleviating their suffering but his views on finding a solution change considerably when he meets someone who found a way to transform himself from being a vampire to again take human form. Final Word : Watch it.. Its a decent thriller..!

Drishyam (2013)

Yes its just a polished version of Movie "Suspect X" but surprisingly give a terrific thrilling experience with a family oriented version. There is actually nothing negative in this movie.All cast and crew done a terrific job.

Story: Georgekutty ( Mohanlal), an orphan who had dropped out of school after the fourth grade. He has come up in life by tilling his land. Now he is businessman running a cable TV service in a rural area. He is married to Rani (Meena) and they have two daughters Anju (Ansiba), a Plus Two student, and Anu (Esther), a student of class eight. Georgekutty is stingy and does not like to spend money on anything beyond the basic necessities. His only interest in life apart from his family is watching films. He spends most of his time in front of the TV in his small office. He is so obsessed with movies that he takes every major decision in life by subconsciously taking an example from some film he has seen. The film's plot takes a turn towards the middle. Georgekutty's teenaged daughter gets photographed in the bathroom at a nature camp by a hidden cell phone.The culprit Varun (Roshan Basheer) is the son of an inspector general of police, Geetha Prabhakar (Asha Sarath). Varun is accidentally killed by Rani and her daughter when he comes to blackmail them. It is up to Georgekutty to protect his family from the law.

Final mix: An excellent movie and must see.

It'll torture you more than the film SAW Does..! Actually there is nothing positive in this movie.Very poor script and irritating duologue's and extreme torture what they called comedy..!

The story tells about a detective who has to solve a case for pride and become a good detective like his father.

Arshad Warsi Done what he can with the poor script.The movie trying to laugh the people but unfortunately nothing actually workout.

Soha Ali Khan Actually has to be praised.She done something special for this movie.But i think its not the right movie for her."Dabangg Girl" Also Done an item dance and also done her first Bikini avatar.

But everyone forgot about acting..! Anyway If you worth your money avoid it.

Escape from Uganda (2013)

The movie give a lot of expectation through his name itself..But the crew failed to fulfill the expectation of viewers..! Shikha Samuel (Rima Kallingal), along with her husband Jayakrishnan (Vijay Babu), has chosen of all places in the world, Uganda, to find refuge in, after her family in Kerala objects to their marriage..! The movie narrates the escape of Rima from the prison after accused a crime on her.

We can see some unbelievable story throughout the second half.Acting by main crew is OK and Rima has been done some action seen too.The main crew also include lot of South African actors and they also done an average job.

It just failed to full fill the initial hype and not up to the mark.

Geethanjali (2013)

A Copy cat saga and Climax Was A Big Let Down & Totally End Up As An Average Flick

Priyadarshan gifts his audience with a horror flick which is neither horrifying nor entertaining..! I can't even count how many horror flicks has been watched in my life.The expectation was touching the apex because of returning of Dr.Sunny well remembered through the classic Manichitrathazhu.

Unfortunately this movie make no impact on me except bad impression about the writers.The movie has been adapted a lot from the Thai Horror flick Alone and "Nadiya kollappetta rathri(The Night Nadiya Was Murdered).

The movie begins with introduction of a young happy couple, Anoop (Nishan Naniah) and Anjali (Keerthy Menaka), working in Mumbai, who are deeply in love and are about to get engaged.The movie tells the problem faced by them in an haunted house in Kerala.

Its only an average flick and adapted from many other movies.Watch for doctor sunny and Nakulan(suresh gopi) In a beautiful cameo.

Anaconda 3: Offspring (2008 TV Movie)

After watching this one i just feel weird for half a hour.Im a great fan of Hollywood classics like Anaconda.Classic movies give a special feeling to me and just feel sympathy if some on killed and journey of characters and finally a good CGI. This movie lack all the features necessary for a snake movie.No character development and finally a WORST CGI. When seeing the snake feel a drawing and completely disappointed. Is their aim to create a low budget CGI movie at least give a good story otherwise it doesn't give anything to both Produces and viewer. I think this story can be written by any high school student even better than this one.

Theme: RAM-LEELA is Story of RAM who belong to RAJWADIS & LEELA who belong to BAWAALS . Basically there's a Big conflict between the two Villages & the Love Birds comes across when RAM goes to his RIVALARY Village for playing HOLI.

The movie comes with Eye catching visuals and framed beautifully.Songs are beautifully and suited well for the them.

Acting:Good chemistry between lead couples.

Never view this movie with a critic eye.Its just a journey filled with familiar adult jokes,Vulgar implies and its just a main stream Bgrade Movie! How you'll accept this one depend upon your potential.If you are a great fan of Adult comedy film you may be disappoint with familiar jokes.However the presence of known actors make the movie a good one. Theme: Three married guys — Meet (Vivek Oberoi ), Prem (Aftab Shivdasani ) and Amar (Ritesh Deshmukh ) decide to attend their college reunion at Shree Lalchand University of Technology and Science (SLUTS), only to be trapped in a dangerous situation apparently.

Note: If you have some time free or want a laugh go for it.A pure adult comedy.

Director give a good gift for friends.It all about friendship.No hypes,no terrific fight, and we can see a lot of true living characters on silver screen.

The story is about the life of 5 friends in a small village called Manassery. They have completed their studies and are all set to move to the next phase of their life.

But in the process they face unexpected problems while trying to keep their favourite hangout Malarvaadi Arts Club alive.

New comers done a good job and really enjoyable.
