One Piece: Wan pîsu: Kandou no Saikai! Momonosuke to Kin'emon (2013)
Kinemon, Momonosuke, Law, Smoker, Nami
This has got to be one of my favorite episodes of the series. So much happens, and it's all just so perfect. This is the epitome of the One Piece world, the sentiment shared across this episode.
One Piece: Wan pîsu: Shougeki no Kecchaku! Smoker Tai Vergo! (2013)
breaking the gear
This is the episode. The mark. The breaking of the gear. The beginning of Luffys legendary reign. What an amazing episode. Law makes a move that influences everything in the New World, and then is gonna take Luffy right through the storm.
One Piece: Wan pîsu: Subete wa Nakama o Mamoru Tame ni! Gear Second Hatsudou (2006)
this episode
Is easily a ten. The emotions you feel for the characters, the powerful moments and the magnitude of these events. One Piece is so brilliant. This is my absolute favorite arc and this episode is one of the big moments!
Black Clover: A New Resolve (2020)
Nostalgia
I absolutely loved this episode. it's a nostalgia episode, but really felt important. Asta and Yuno visit their home town and see how much it's changed. this episode was perfect in every way. 10/10
Letterkenny: Holy Sheet (2019)
Example of the Best LK Can Provide
It's hard for the creators to beat an episode as perfect as this. it builds on all of the series' previously established jokes perfectly, and is consistently funny all the way through. And yet that is also why Letterkenny is so great and worth investing in. It is set up in a fashion that you can revisit structures like this and have another successful episode.
My personal highlight will be the scene the hicks turn their debating into courtroom style banter. I was laughing so hard throughout! I hope they use that gag as a staple from now on, there is so much potential for even more there.
Thoroughly enjoyed this season. I want to see this series continue for as many possible seasons as the creators have a vision for!!
Kanata no Astra: Friend-Ship (2019)
fantastic
Geez that was a fantastic finale. a lot of times my favorite parts of an anime is the finale episode, how it all wraps up. and this one does it perfectly. i loved this show!! how they did it was just a great ending, im happy.
Sausage Party (2016)
not one of Seth Rogens good ones
I have liked most of Seth Rogens movies, even when others haven't. this show, however, is actually really hard to like. the idea behind this is really funny. the life of food. but it's really not presented well and it feels very forced. relies on sex jokes and a ton of swearing. I didn't find it funny at all.
the biggest problem I had with this show was seeing the kids in the theater who's parents took them. it literally have me a stomach ache to see someone would take their kids to this. it's so obviously an adult movie, and it's just bad parenting. but it was enough to ruin the movie for me.
It Follows (2014)
tries really hard to be good, and it's obvious it is trying so hard the whole time.
I was excited, after seeing positive reviews that this "reinvents the dying genre." I've seen some bad horror movies, and this film is a bad horror film. it doesn't reinvent anything, it barely has a new idea, and it doesn't do very well with executing that idea.
we are supposed to guess what the main character is thinking the whole time. we are supposed to infer why she sleeps with who, and be able to guess the reasoning. this is meant to thrill us as the viewer and make us think we are smart. "oh she didn't sleep with him because she loves him and doesn't want him to die." it's so obvious we are supposed to infer that, it's like forced down our throats. cheap, cheap writing.
really doesn't live up to any hype. doesn't deserve its rating. the only good thing I have to say about the movie is the cast do very well, and you don't want them to die. and the music was really good, it's the type of music I love to hear in films. however neither of these points are reason enough to watch it. the film is forced, tries to be deep, and the film makers are trying too hard.
