I like that Tyler Perry is stretchin and doing psycho thrillers. First "Acrimony" and now the even better, "Fall from Grace". Crystal Fox is really good in portraying a tormented woman. People need to stop kickin Tyler for making movies with Black female leads that got issues; these are the makings of complex roles and gives the actresses room to show their chops. Everybody was good in this one and I was really surprised on the ending. Man, some of the stuff going on at your neighbor's house would scare the crap out of you. I mean, do we really know anyone these days?!

This show makes fun of the negative Black American experiences in the United States. Why are Black American trials and tribulations even part of a show that should be focusing on a White male trying to woo a Nigerian female immigrant? This show is a time waster and it gets zero stars.

Unfortunately, free speech permits racist trolls to post trash movie reviews in hopes that a fine movie such as "Jacob's Ladder (2019)" fails. Please ignore the racist trolls, seek out this movie and see it; it is a gripping, finely-acted movie that kept me wondering and thinking what in the heck is going on. And at the end, I was knocked out of my socks by what was actually happening. By the Way, I Saw the Original at the Show So I Know What I Am Talking About - This Remake is Fantastic! "Jacob's Ladder (2019)" is one to own!

Nine-stars for Octavia Spencer's "Ma"! The slow burn start is the only thing that kept me from giving this film 10-stars. When "Ma" got going, man, it was Fiyah! "Ma" is the kind of funny, scary movie I like to see in the summer time. You know it is not believable, but it does its job to jolt you and make you talk out loud about the mistakes the characters are making when they F with Ma.

Quaint Napa Valley Thanks to Dennis Quaid's Character! My House, My Castle, is My Body, You Buy My House; I get your Wife -- Haha!!! I hope "The Intruder" is on a slow-burn and picks up this week and during the Memorial Day weekend because it really is a good thriller. Ealey, Good, Quaid, and Sikora are great actors and they made this movie scary!

Please excuse my language, but Funny ASF is the most accurate way for me to describe this movie! I mean the movie was slapstick funny crazy! I do not know what Tyler Perry's plans are after Madea, but I wish him great success. And, I hope he figures out how to obtain the film rights to his Madea movies because they are treasures!!!

I loved Tyler Perry's "Nobody's Fool"! I like raunchy comedies and I don't mind seeing Black women cast in raunchy roles as long as there is balance to their casting in that they appear in wholesome and non-raunchy roles. Tiffany, Whoopi, and the special guest are hilarious and the AMC Dine-in Theater with spirits and reclining seats was the perfect place for me to relax and enjoy this entertaining flick. People, especially Black people, need to stop bashing Tyler Perry because he has done wonders in helping young actors and actresses start their careers. Lest we forget Idris Elba began the American phase of his career in a Tyler Perry movie. Actually, Elba's career catapulted similar to Denzel Washington's career because Black female movie goers fell in love with him after seeing him in "Daddy's Little Girls". So, y'all shut up and let Tyler Perry stretch. Earlier this year with Acrimony, he did his first psycho-thriller and now, he has done his first R-rated comedy with sex scenes ~ Go Ahead Tyler!

A great movie that entertains while making bigotry and racism look evil and stupid! For you sensitive people, the language in the movie is crass, but necessary as Spike Lee rightfully thought such language needs to be in the film. Spike Lee is a genius at creating entertaining message films - Spike is the Master!

The Equalizer 2 (2018)

EQ2 -- Good Movie!

The Equalizer 2 (EQ2) is a good action movie with some really good fight scenes, especially a fight sequence involving one of the film's female characters. She fought like a real person that was not afraid to pick up a potential weapon and use it. I did not think EQ2 was as violent as the first film, but I actually like that. In my opinion, the slightly less violence left room for some good dramatic scenes and some emotional memories for Denzel's McCall character. Denzel is such a fine actor and I am convinced he can do anything in film well. Go see EQ2, you will enjoy!

And where are all the Bruhs that showed up for Black Panther with their kids but are absent for a movie that shows a girl excelling in Math and Science?

I loved Black Panther! Black Panther is fantastic for the following reasons. 1. Beautiful African Women in strong roles 2. Great dramatic acting 3. The comic relief was perfectly timed 4. The hero and villain are wonderfully matched 5. Very captivating and entertaining 6. Great thought provoking dialogue 7. Wonderful costumes 8. Wonderful hair styles 9. Good non-bloody action scenes

Proud Mary is a Good Shoot-'Em-Up Flick

I am not a wannabe movie critic. I am just a movie lover and a Taraji P. Henson and Billy Brown fan. I like Proud Mary even though it had a bit more dramatic scenes (very well-acted I must say) than what I was expecting. There is still quite a bit of shoot ups that will please anyone that likes Shoot-'Em-Up movies. The one thing that was missing that kept it from being 70's Blaxploitation, a period of movies that I love, was the lack of a sexy love scene between the two sexy stars - that would have been icing on the Proud Mary movie cake. Still, Proud Mary is a good movie.

Didn't, Won't See "IT"

I refuse to see movies depicting Children being murdered or terrorized. I refuse to read books about Children being murdered or terrorized. Why would anyone feel comfortable sitting in a movie theater enjoying and watching a movie about a clown that scares the heck out of Children? I think people who enjoy movies like "IT" are stewing psychopaths or Child killers.

The Dark Tower (2017)

Kind of Good . . .

I went to see this movie because I wanted to look at delicious Idris and tasty Matthew and hopefully enjoy a good movie. The movie entertains once it gets going. It has a lot of action and good dramatic scenes with the two stars and the other cast. Actually, as I watched Idris in some of the action sequences, I thought of Wesley Snipes and thought to myself, Wesley would have been good in this flick. The more I think about Wesley Snipes, the more I think this flick would not be struggling at the box office had it starred Wesley instead of Idris. I would have still enjoyed the movie but struggled with it too. Embarrassingly, I do not know what the film is about; it just did not make sense to me. There were some accelerated jettison scenes – what the heck was that and why? Some of King's stuff is really bizarre. My interest in Stephen King's Dark Tower novels was not peaked. The Dark Tower did turn up my interest in seeing Idris and Matthew in more works together. Hopefully, The Dark Tower will make enough money for more pairings of the two stars.

It would be wonderful if every Black Female teen and tween could see Step (2017) because it shows how belief in yourself, diligence, and determination really helps you realize your dreams. Go ahead and envision going to University because there are people out there, including your Stepping Team Sisters that want you to succeed. The young Black Women in this movie are battling and winning their own private wars against poverty, early pregnancy, self-doubt, and substance abuse, by using Sisterhood, Belief in God, and Hard Work – it was a Joy to watch Young Women Win in Life!

Kidnap (I) (2017)

Halle Does A Fine Job Again!

I went to see Halle Berry in Kidnap because Halle is a fine actress and she plays the hell out of any role she takes on. Halle did it again in Kidnap! This movie is a roller coaster ride from the start of the car chase scenes until the end. The kid playing Frankie, whom is kidnapped, is so adorable and I was afraid for him as I watched him experience this horrible ordeal. And the kidnappers, they are extremely frightful when you witness the deceit, planning, and terrorizing they commit against children. I say ignore the bad reviews for this film because they are not fair – Kidnap is a good film!

Girls Trip (2017)

I just love entertaining, wild, and raunchy comedies like Girls Trip! I am glad I am not a prude; otherwise, I would have missed one of the best comedies I have ever seen in a long time! The comedy in this movie feels real ole school, ole school, like Moms Mabely, Jimmy Lynch, and Redd Foxx! Will Packer, you have created another Masterpiece, a Masterpiece that I will pay to see again and buy so I can watch again and again, whenever I need to laugh!

P.S. I would have liked to see more of William Levy!

Everything, Everything is a Very Good Movie!

Everything, Everything is a very good movie for the following reasons.

1. It is a very good looking movie. The hustle and bustle of city life, the peace of suburban life, and the beauty of the ocean are wonderfully captured.

2. It has wonderful animation.

3. It has very tender performances from all the actors. The actors made me really care about the characters.

4. The main characters are intelligent, interesting and complex.

5. It is an interracial love story that never focused on race. The story's focus is on the beautiful beginning of a relationship between a young couple that evolves into love.

Everything, Everything is a wonderful summer sleeper hit movie!

Unforgettable (II) (2017)

Unforgettable (2017) is a Good Movie!

I saw Unforgettable (2017) and it is a good movie -- go see it! Unforgettable is emotional, tense, and suspenseful. The performances by all the women and the little lady are superb! I got very emotionally involved with the characters in this movie because the terrors they faced were from real life! Rosario Dawson's performance is gut-wrenching! Also, the movie is very good looking; the greens, the interior home shots, and the feminine wardrobe are exquisite! Finally, there are quite a few great-looking talented thespians in this movie!

Saints & Sinners (2016–2023)

Saints and Sinners -- Good Job Bounce TV!

If Saints and Sinners turns out to be Bounce TV's flagship program, then Bounce TV should be proud! Saints and Sinners is a fantastic edgy, gritty show! Mayor Lady Ella ain't messin around when someone crosses her or messes with her family! I love Vanessa Bell Calloway as Lady Ella! This show is on par with Empire, Greenleaf, and trumps all daytime soaps! And now that Bounce has expanded its season to 13 episodes, it can hook more viewers on its drama, sexy romance, and blazing action that to me, rivals what I saw on The Wire, from which two of its cast members cut their chops. I rate the show an eight. If the show had a sharper look on my TV, I would give it a ten. Good job Bounce TV!

Minority Report (2015)

Minority Report is a Keeper❢

First impressions are lasting impressions and my first impression of Minority Report is great! The show has great action, great dialogue between characters, and excellent special effects. I would like to see the special effects cut back some because they seems to be quite expensive for the Fox network. Instead, build on the commodore between Dash & Vega and the subtle playful rivalry between Blake & Vega. This makes the show interesting to watch like the early Castle shows before Castle and Beckett got married. In fact, I think Minority Report is filled with many interesting relationships between characters showing struggles with balancing good deeds with personal sacrifice. Megan Good is great and I want to see more of her! Minority Report is a keeper!

Sleepy Hollow (2013–2017)

FOX-TV Please Renew Sleepy Hollow

Sleepy Hollow is a fantastic show! I cannot believe Fox is hesitant to renew Sleepy Hollow (SH) for a third season. The show has a worldwide following and that should tell Fox, renew, renew! The ensemble atmosphere of the show is so apparent in each episode, it rather reminds me of the early Law and Order SVU (LO-SVU) days when LO-SVU had a more racially diverse, and close cast. It is wondrous that the fans have been so receptive of the diverse team of evil slayers. I do think the writers of SH need to remember we fans like the action, super natural foes, the sometimes comical back and forth banter between Abbie and Crane, and the historical flash backs along with the historical-looking costumes. Sleepy Hollow is primarily an action show. If the writers keep this in mind, SH could have a long life on TV. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed, as I await Fox's decision regarding SH in May 2015.

Scandal (2012–2018)

Scandal Is Good

I like watching Scandal. I love Kerri Washington as Olivia Pope. I do think the Olivia Pope character does not have to make a bugle-blowing entrance all the time. I think this show has great potential and can be used as an avenue for portraying smart, sexy, sometimes soft, and powerful women. Too often, in the real world and on television, women must act like men. Women are not men. I would also like to see Khandi Alexander and Pam Grier appear in some of the episodes. Please do more episodes relating to Computer Security. Watching an episode showing how Computer Security threats are detected and thwarted would be very interesting. I am looking forward to watching Scandal regularly next season.

More Dr. Warren

Please include Tamara Tunie's character, Dr. Warren, in more episodes! Where is she? I miss her. At first, I did not think I would like watching Law and Order (SVU) because of the numerous casting changes that seemed to occur at the same time, but the show is still good. The show still has a nice ensemble-feel to it, unlike Law and Order (CI) that focused too much on the lead detective with the Psychology background. The entertainment business, occult, scientific-tinged, and the social-cause motivations for committing the crimes are the most interesting. NBC, do not move this show to another night -- I like Wednesdays!
