Criminal Minds (2005)
First seasons are good
There isn't much interaction between the BAU agents, they work with each other everyday but they don't never become close and intimate. Aside form the lack of interaction between main characters, characters don't develop through the years. Criminal cases and profiling is the main focus not the characters.
Dating, breaking up, getting married or things like that rarely get mentioned in the series.
Despite that I personally loveeeeeddd the first seasons, I love psychoanalysis and criminology, and this show is really good when you like these kind of things, You learn a lot about criminal minds.
But the last seasons weren't that good, Reid is my favorite character, but even the fact that he doesn't leave the show, didn't make me like the last seasons.
They tried to make BAU diverse by adding so many female agents and an East Asian looking man, and a hispanic looking man. Trying to force too much diversity makes the show unrealistic and unnatural.
And at the first seasons the brain storming looked natural but at the last seasons it seemed like everybody knows the same thing, it's just a race to see who says it first. If you want to watch it the first few seasons are the best. You can skip the last seasons.
Manchester by the Sea (2016)
It's not cliché at all
I've seen lots of movies to this day, about parent dying then some kid and and parent's sibling or best friend's troubles getting to know each other and stuff. that's so cliché.
when I read the plot I thought it's one of those movies.but then I saw the high ratings and lots of nominations ,so I decided to give it a try. It had nothing to do with those cliché movies, it's so dramatic and realistic. Some people find it boring, but I never get bored with such a strong screenplay.and the actors play their roles so realistic, I really enjoyed Mr. Affleck's performance, it's outstanding.
I highly recommend this movie
