Hooray for Jamie!
27 January 2004
In a sea of excellent performances from the likes of true Brit thespians like Christopher Plummer, Juliet Stevenson, Tom Courtenay, etc; Jamie Bell more than held his own in all his scenes. Jamie was able to imbue his character with such pain, torment and suffering. It's amazing that he is still in his teens.

Clearly, Jamie Bell is one actor to watch. I hope that he would continue to make interesting choices and take on complex roles such as the ones he has played thus far. Mr Dickens would be so proud indeed.
