A for effort but that's where it ends

So 4 over the top influencers visit a haunted house. Happens to have something or someone there killing them... Its supposed to be funny right, like over the top influencers in that situation but yet it's not funny.

I watched the whole thing hoping it would have some redeeming quality eventually. Horror element that was scary, a good jump scare, a twist??? Something! It never came. It just ended and I'm annoyed and had to leave this review.

I hate to bash indie films but all of those 10 star reviews are BS it's definitely not a 10/10 film at all. So that forced me to keep it real and say wait for it to be on Tubi or a VOD platform with ads.

Bad Bones (2022)

Indie sci fi paranormal mystery with story!

Let's get the low budget out of the way first BUT they didn't try to go too far with a restricted budget. They stayed in their lane to focus on story. So good for them.

The story is a little confusing at times but overall a haunted house / paranormal mystery following a couple as they go through the motions of the wife being sick and the husband trying to have the house "cure" her.

Good performances all around Chris and Maddison carry the film, it's well shot and the sound is really good. Especially for this level of budget. I didn't need to turn captions on. I know crazy right?

What else? Umm it's free on YouTube right now too. So you really don't have an excuse to complain or not to watch it if you like spooky thrillers. Good work Scott Eggelston and team.

Agoraphobia (2015)

Spooky indie thriller

It's female filmmaker Friday and Lou knocks it out of the park for the budget she was given.

Well acted, pacing is good and there's some fun jump scares. Def worth the price of admission.

No Way Out (II) (2020)

Isolation thriller

I'm a fan of Chris and wanted to check this out (it's only 3 bucks on Amazon) and while the budget was low I really enjoyed it. It's a little thriller and a little horror. But for an indie film it was good.

Butterfly Caught (2017)

Worth the watch

In general it's a well written, well shot and well acted indie drama that is worth your time. It's Free on Prime too so give it a shot.
