This is a film which attempts to pander to the suit-wearers, with Shakespearean dialogue and endless cameos, but the nauseating camera-work and relentless close ups make you wonder if Ralph Fiennes got anything for Christmas, save a macro lens.
I do not intend to be persistently pessimistic with this review, and I will accept that the acting, even from Butler, is good, however the fact that fellow film fans have applauded Fiennes' "spitting technique" is altogether baffling.
in the end, Coriolanus is a potential award-hoarder, but it lacks in delivery.
