Roswell (1999–2002)
One Of The Best
3 April 2004
This series to me is one of the best to come around. I was such a fan of the show, I spent every hour of free time writing fan fiction, creating a website and chatting with my online friends about it. I was so obsessed I even went to a Roswell gathering in LA where we met the cast, but then I got married and pregnant and found my own Max. Seeing Jason film episode 2 of season 2 and running down the street of Covina with no shirt on was the gasp moment for all of us Jason fans. I am so happy to see the series come out on dvd finally, and will of course buy the other ones, I hope that on the other discs there might be commentary from some of the other cast.

I know that a lot of writers will say that once you put the couples together on a show then there's nothing really to write about. But I don't think that gives fans much credit. We watch families on tv that are married and we enjoy that, so the fact that the writers felt compeled to keep Max & Liz apart then bring them together, then take them apart, then bring in the Gerbil (Tess) well to me that was part of what ruined the show's ratings. And as most die hards will agree, The Dupes were laughable that was definetly one of the worst. I remember how popular some of the stories were that us fans wrote and the couples were together in those. We just figured why "fix" what isn't broke? Maybe someone will come alone some day and take a chance on a show and keep the couple that everyone is rooting for together. Until then I'll just have to be content to watch the happy M&L episodes and let my dreamgirl heart be happy with that.

Basic (2003)
A Thinking Film
31 July 2003
I read a review in my local paper saying that this film was boring. But I like John Travolta and wanted to see it to form my own opinion and my opinion was that it was really good. I think there were a lot of plot twists and turns and you really had to pay attention to see where things were going, if you didn't watch every second of it then you were going to miss something crucial to the plotline. I think this is one of the best movies of the last year, no matter what other people say. I liked it, and so did my whole family. Two thumbs up!

Great Cast, Good Acting
31 July 2003
While this movie may not be what some deem a true western, I liked it. Not just because of Colin, but because I just did. I either like a movie or don't. I give Colin major props for acting, the fact that he has done numerous movies without showing so much as a hair of his irish accent is something to be credited. He obviously works hard at it. This movie had a really good cast of up and coming actors as well as some that have already established themselves. I think if you want to watch a movie just for the fun of it then so be it. I watch movies to relax and have a good time, and that's just what this movie was to me a good time.

Diamond Girl (1998 TV Movie)
Fluff Is Good
31 July 2003
This movie like the book was meant to be lighthearted, and cute. I think that's what it was. I watched it the first time because I had read the book. I watched and taped it the second time because the actor Jonathan Cake who played Regan is hot. So if your a follower of romance books and you like fluff then you should like this movie. Besides the love making scene in the movie is a portrayal of how most women want their lovers/husbands to act.
