Cowboy Bebop: Blue Crow Waltz (2021)
The greatest sin committed to Cowboy Bebop (1998)
More than anything else, I will write about this session. Of course, adaptations may differ from the originals. I accept this. But if we throw away every detail that makes the original beautiful, there is a problem if this is the result you have. This is exactly the problem with Cowboy Bebop (2021); especially this session. In the Cowboy Bebop (1998) narrative, memory is real; appears on the screen spontaneously and non-linearly. We don't know much about the backgrounds of the characters. Memories are like dreams; we cannot easily call it a flashback scene. In this way, the audience fills in the blanks themselves. This is one of the fascinating aspects of Cowboy Bebop (1998). This adaptation kills that spell.
I understand that if you have good material, replace the original; so you can create something new. But this session presents a raw and cliché back story about Spike. How come; While Julia who appears for a few minutes in the anime leaves a deep impression on the audience, Julia who is seen in every episode in the adaptation cannot cast a spell on us? However, Julia has all the cards in this adaptation: musicians, sex appeal, femme fatale...
As everything that happened with Julia and Spike comes to light, the magic is broken because the events are not significant. They don't even give Spike a moment to hold on to his love. Even "Goodnight Julia" just disappears into space.
As a result; nothing good was found to replace what was abandoned; It was a session that committed all sins cruelly. Memories cease to be memories and we have them as tangible objects. Thus, we have a so-called love story that we just can't hold onto.
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Babel (1993)
This is an Underrated Star Trek episode. If I watched it in another time period, I would not understand its value. However, there is currently a worldwide pandemic. In a way befitting a science fiction; It has shown very well what will happen in a pandemic. The process is lifelike, just faster. With the importance of the situation, the tempo in the episode was successful. With real life experience, I was very excited while watching the episode. An important detail was the unexpected spread of the virus. As a result, Star Trek is always one step ahead.
Enes Batur Gerçek Kahraman (2019)
audio is false strike
This film is my Black Panther. This movie empowered me. It helped me get over my rejection from the female known as Veronica who'd rather date a Chad instead of a true gentelmen who would treat her well. Amazing cinematography and a great performance from Joaquin Phoenix, who was fortunately moved on from artsy-fartsy hipster trash like Her. Films like the Joker are true art that often get misunderstood by filthy normies who watch MCU kiddie movies instead of challenging, thought-provoking kino like Batman V Superman Dawn of Justice.
