As others have said in their own reviews - this is not a bad episode by Series Eight standards where the form of the show has varied hugely.
It seems that we get one nice decent plot and then one absolutely stinker of a plot to go with it.
In its own way I suppose the Sheldon/Amy plot is the better of the two, but even that has some mean-spirited elements to it. I'd take that over any plot involving Howard and Bernadette by this stage though.
The plot with the bird in the clean room is rubbish quite simply. A waste of the talented cast members left trying to elevate woefully poor material.
As for Penny - what a nice Jennifer Aniston impression Kaley Cucco does...
