The Midnight Sky (2020)
I mean, I watched it
I watched and still have no clue what message the movie was sending. It was almost like two movies in one that never met up in the middle.
If this is your cup of tea...
If you love movies were a 110lbs woman can beat up 10 grown man hand to hand in one sitting, you will love this movie.
This is a good version of a female Punisher. Overall, not a bad watch.
Series would have made this complete
Good movie, but I would love to see how this play out in a limited series. First season before and during the event. The second season how they dealt with it after.
Before you judge it.....
Have to admit, was lost the first time I watched it. The second time made everything so clear. The second time around, watch with captions to catch the in depth detail of the dialogue. This is an excellent movie in all aspects.
Better than the last three Star Wars combined.
Better than the last three Star Wars combined, seriously!
Hell's Kitchen: Welcome to Vegas (2020)
I like this version of Hell's Kitchen. It's Raw and uncensored.
Grand Army (2020)
A boiling pot of typical urban living.
This show puts on a great display of typical inner city life of kids and their families. They let the characters develop and slowly let the series unfold without rushing it. I definitely will watch season two.
The Good Lord Bird: Mister Fred (2020)
This was too funny!
This version of Frederick Douglas was absolutely hilarious.
The Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020)
My cousin Vinny...lol
Just when I thought the Judge on "My Cousin Vinny" was bad....this guy takes the cake.
The Boys: What I Know (2020)
This one will make your head explode!
Great finale that leaves season 3 wide open to what is going to happen next. I can't wait!
The Good Lord Bird (2020)
Not a bad start for the first episode.
Not a bad start from so far, definitely will watch the following episodes.
I tried to, but it just wasn't peaking my interest. Especially with the kids voice narration part. I will give it a another episode but, I just don't see myself even starting this one.
The Walking Dead: A Certain Doom (2020)
This was available to watch on download on 01OCT2020
Before anyone say it hasn't came out yet, It was available for download on the 1st. Also the new Walking Dead spin off series; World Beyond.
This wasn't a bad mid-season. My only negative take from this episode is when the Gab was about to be stabbed by the 3 whispers, Maggie and The Masked person pops up out of no where and the Masked guy single handed the the Whispers. With them supposing to be expert knife fighters due to their style of fighting, he walked right through them. Also, Maggie and the Masked person was able to sneak inside of a hospital that is totally surrounded by am army of Walkers.
The 100: False Gods (2020)
Pie Filling Episode
What a horrible way to waste an episode of the last season.
Survivor: The Full Circle (2020)
Survivor hits its all time low on this one.
This is one of the worse episodes I have ever watched.
The Walking Dead: The Tower (2020)
A mine field in a concrete parking lot......🤣
Judith leaves a hospital and finds Daryl in a vast forest.....🤣
Princess tells a sob story and now she's part of the team.....🤣
In a city with buildings as a landmarks, Eugene, Zeke, Yumiko couldn't tell they were going in circles........🤣
I have no idea the purpose of Carols and SlingShot's conversation served....😢
Beta's Fitbit clocked in some miles this episode. I didn't see him drank any water though.....😓
It's not the best episode and it's not getting better!
Once again, thumbs up to Neagan. Loved his role in this episode.
Carol's part, walking off and having a conversation with Alpha was totally pointless. You see her head on a post, that should have been the end of that chapter. Why wouldn't she race home to bring the news to her community that Alpha is dead? Just out of curiosity, what was Carol going to do with that boat after should got it down in that cabin? Drag it to the nearest river and go sail the coast with it? Now, the amount wood and debris that fell on her in that cabin would have likely killed her or left her totally disabled. She jumps up like nothing is wrong with her.
Eugene, buddy buddy buddy! He dialogue alone makes me cringe. They way he talks with his ebonics makes me simply fast forward his parts and could care less about what he was talking about.
It's an empty story!
This movie opened with like 40 minutes of nothing but explosion and running around with out any character detail, story why they are under water or anything. When one of the character died, there was no emotional attachment.
Why are we hearing these creatures making moaning and growling sounds in water?
The Walking Dead: Walk with Us (2020)
This is not a 10, here are two reasons why...
When Beta sat and watched Gamma turn, the one guy (it's sad I don't know his name) took the shot with the arrow and killed Gamma with an head shot from an untold range that Beta couldn't even see him. Not only that, the arrow went pass beta and hit Gamma with an head shot. Why not take that shot and kill the invincible Beta? A guy that has proven impossible to kill time and time again. He has more lives than glen in only two seasons.
What was the point of Negan taking Lydia hostage and putting her in a cabin. Then, try and fool the viewers that he's leading Alpha to that same cabin. That only led to false suspense with no reasoning for having that in the episode. He could have simply lied to Alpha and led her to an empty cabin without ever even looking for Lydia.
With that being said, Negan came through again. I was so happy when I seen him put Alpha out of her misery. I hope they take him off the bench and put in back in the game more often. He needs more show time than he is getting.
The Walking Dead: Morning Star (2020)
I remember on season 3 episode 13, "Arrow on the Doorpost", when Rick, Daryl and Hershel returned from the meeting with the Governor. You could see the uncertainty on Rick's face about the future of him and his group while telling them they are going to war! It made you feel that they were living their last days and the only way they were surviving was they stick together. Throw in the song Warm Shadow track in the back drop and you have a real to life drama on your hand.
This episode was laughable. Everyone going about doing their own thing as if they have no worries in the world. Everyone trying to give a corny last stand speech. Ooooooh, lets not forget, they talked the whole episode started the action at the end...............and by now, we all know what that means.
See you next week for the classical FLASH BACK episode!
The Walking Dead: Stalker (2020)
They had the momentum, but then killed it!
Loved the part when Beta sneaked into their camp and started the slaughter fest. The only thing is, only people that died due to his wrath was characters that no one knew. It played out like a Halloween and Friday the 13th flick and I was loving it. All way to the part where Rosita was about to die and Gamma stepped in. Why have an intricate plot only to have no one of importance die? That would have sealed the deal with scene but once again they are scared to take out a main character.
They could have kept the Daryl with the Kool-Aid eye scene fight with Alpha. He has a cut on his head, and the wound shows the blood running down the middle of his head never flowing into the eyes.
Also, Beta walking down the path after taking Gamma hostage, why take a shot at him and just let him go. No effort to pursue him while he was out there by himself. That's odd!
Leave Ted out of this!
Using Ted to push an agenda that all man are bad. Sad, should have just made a documentary about woman's rights and it would have been worth the watch.
I'm still picking up the pieces!
From the first 30 minutes in the movie, I was ready for it to end. This movie is all over the place and has no center focus and throws a thousand things at you in 2.5 hours. It makes the movie super sloppy and easily predictable, with a bland end result.
Few things I want to hit on:
1) Rey is all of a sudden healing people with no training.
2)Ren's Knights tries to stop him reaching Sidious when they are his Knights.
3) Lando happen to be on a planet waiting on Team Rey.
4) Ren pulling a Kenobi at the end after reviving a dead Rey.
5) Teleporting things between Rey and Ren
6) How many droids is enough?
With that being said, Sidious part and whole plot is just so cartoonish that it was laughable. It absolutely made no sense for him being in this movie.
......but hey, to each their own. Some people love it. I think watching a rock erode is more entertaining.
Code 8 (2019)
It's a one time watch....and you will regret that too.
It was absolutely horrible acting and characters. No one stands out from the other, it was as if they literally acted as they read their lines.
