Okay, the acting and the whole production of the movie is just average...nothing special. So if you can't stand low-budget movies, don't even bother watching Fireproof. HOWEVER, the whole story of this movie is amazing. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is married, or who is looking to fix their marriage, or even just their relationship. This movie is packed with advice, and tips on how to love your partner, even when the relationship is falling apart. Yes, it is a Christian movie, but you don't have to be a Christian to watch it. I'm not religious in any way, but I kinda liked it. Also, LADIES, prepare to bawl. This movie will most likely make you tear up. Seriously. Once you get past the bad acting, and everything else, you really start to get into it, and you feel for the characters. It's really sad what the guy goes through, just to save his marriage. Basically, if you want to see a really good love story, with lots of values and morals in it, and you don't necessarily care how bad the acting is, this is the movie for you!

Boring and awful

Sorry, but I watched about a half hour of this movie, and basically had no idea what was going on, and was bored out of my mind. I rented it because Blockbuster labeled it as a ' hidden gem'. Plus, I'm really into Gerard Butler. I think he's an awesome actor and really hot. But even he wasn't enough to make me want to continue the movie. I couldn't even understand what they were saying half the time because the accents were so thick, and I had no idea what was going on. This movie wasn't for me, but that's not to say that other people won't like it. If I liked anything about what I did see of the movie, it was the music, and Gerard Butler. ;)
Not a bad movie

Well, this isn't the best movie I've seen lately, but it's not the worst. It's got a cute love story to it, and some funny parts. All in all, this movie is a cute, funny, light-hearted love story. And if you're into indie music, you'll probably like this movie. The movie isn't really about anything, other than two young kids falling in love with each other, while trying to find Fluffy...a band that everyone in the movie is obsessed with. Michael Cera is so cute in this movie! Love love love him! I'm not sure this is one of his best, but it's not the worst either. He always make me laugh. If you're a fan of his, you'll probably enjoy Nick and Nora.

Boring and crude

I am a Ben Stiller fan...and that is the main reason why I rented Tropic Thunder...along with the fact that I heard it was the funniest movie of the year, however, I was VERY disappointed. Not only was I already bored after the first 10 minutes of the movie, but I was shocked by the amount of language. I generally don't find language in movies offensive, however, the language in this film was just unnecessary...and not too mention EXTREMELY crude. I laughed maybe two or three times in the whole movie...and the rest of the time I just sat there unamused, and bored. AND the only reason I watched the whole thing was because my brother wanted to watch it. All in all, I hated this movie and will likely never watch it again unless I am forced.
