Easily the worst episode of the series
22 April 2019
Warning: Spoilers
After the first episode of the 8th season, which was full of important moments, yet executed in such an underwhelming way we could only hope that the ep.2 can only be better.

With only 4 episode until the end of the show I have the feeling that the writers are beyond any hope of executing it properly. First episode was so tightly packed and rushed, even though many important moments were presented and surely, we got the feeling that there's no more time to waste. And here, in the ep.2 we got 45 minutes of boring, unimportant conversation. I reckon that the writers are trying to enhance the characters we already know, to give us the feeling that each one of them is a real being and important and show us the way people behave in the moments of imminent death. Singing, silly stories about Tormund, Arya sex scene -nobody- wanted to see, crafting of the dragonglass and Arya showing her awesome skills for the 5000th time, Tyrion repeating the same line he already said and Jamie finishing the sentence for him, etc.

Really important stuff got only 5 minutes and even that felt sloppy.

Earthlings II
23 July 2018
I'm a vegan activist and I've finally seen it last night. Gotta say even I was shocked learning some of the horrifying facts presented in the movie. It takes a lot of courage to watch through the entire movie and I cannot even fathom what an amount of courage and strength was required for the filmmakers and cameramen to infiltrate the industry of horror to obtain the footage. You guys are HEROES!

I know that a lot of vegans and vegan activists haven't seen the Earthlings and are reluctant to see Dominion, simply because they know it all and they think there is no need to scar their minds any further. But I firmly believe that watching the movie is the LEAST we could do. If it is hard for you seeing the movie, imagine how hard it is for the animals that have to live the nightmare. Use this movie to ignite the spark inside of you and join your local activist organization or start one yourself.

Until every cage is free. Go vegan.

My second review of this season
28 August 2017
When the season started, I wrote a review stating that I am honored to be alive in this time when the show is being aired and that I am honored to write a review for it.

Sadly, over the course of the season my opinion has changed. Up to ep6 I was accepting everything that came my way. So they've teleported a few times across the world - big deal. But episode 6 woke me up from my slumber. It was plainly said - bad. I was honestly hoping that ep7 will be an improvement - it was. However, I somehow managed to persuade myself that this season will have 8 episodes and when I was watching e7 I was thinking to myself "This is good. Certainly the season finale will be even better." Woke up this morning and realized - I just watched the finale. I am sitting how with a sense of disappointment. After the EPIC season finale of the season 6, this was so mediocre that I pray to the old gods and the new that HBO and the writers will come to their senses and make an ending to this LEGENDARY show worthy of its name. Fix the plot holes, fix the impossibilities and deus ex-machina scenes and rely on better writing rather than better CGI.

Don't let us down in season 8 like you did in season 7. Please.

The reason to wake at 03:00 am
16 July 2017
In Europe, the world premiere airs at 3am. And GoT is the only reason on this planet I'd set my alarm to wake me up in the middle of the night. Yes, it delivers. Yes it is epic. Yes with a start like this, one can only hold his breath for yet another week. Game of Thrones completely ruined the world of TV shows for me, because it raised the standards so high I'm having troubles finding another show to hook up with.

Please, keep it coming and stay on this awesome course. It is an honor writing a review.

It sucks. Sorry.
28 September 2015
Took you guys good 80 minutes of the show to completely ruin it. Phil reminds me of Eric Foreman from That 70's Show when he is being sarcastic or silly. Which is funny. Except Phil is not. Instead turned into an obnoxious Ned Flanders who is trying to score and makes me want to punch him in the face.

The show had a great start. Now it is one huge cheese of that has nothing to do with the post-apocalyptic comic relief. Bring back the "What can you do in an empty world" stuff and try to pair it up with the rest of the story. Nobody wants to watch a horny cheesy/cheery goof-ball.

An underrated movie
16 December 2014
I see a lot of negative reviews, coming mostly from the people who watched the movie once, most likely not following the plot with care and then failed to figure out the last 10 minutes of it. If you watch this movie carefully and turn your brain cells on, instead of waiting for the movie to chew and digest itself for you, you will understand everything. Who is the girl? You can get a pretty good idea. Why did it not work for Boris Balkan and how did he not feel the fire for the first several moments? Even if it was not explained (and it was) it would be obvious. What happened to Johnny Depp's character in the end? Again as plain as a day. You cannot expect of every Polanski's occult movie to have everything laid out in front of you. Sometimes, the charm of a movie is in its ability to leave something to speculations. This is one of those movies. Turn on your attention, observe every scene, ask yourself what is the meaning behind it, and you shall enjoy this movie a lot.

I am disappointed
19 December 2013
I do not care if Scorsese directed Goodfellas, The Departed, Casino, The Taxi Driver and so on. Those are fantastic movies. This one is rubbish. The only positive thing is that De Niro delivers. Sam Bowden (Nick Nolti) is probably the most stupid protagonist in the history of stupid protagonists. I thought lawyers were supposed to be cunning. Not in this movie. In this movie you have Max Cady who is a superman of some sort, an illiterate ex-con who became an evil mastermind in 14 years. Sam Bowden was so stupid that by the end of the movie I was rooting for Max Cady. Do not waste your time on this one.

The original can't be any worse I reckon?

The Pianist on steroids
13 September 2012
The only thing I did not like about this film, was that in the end I could not come to IMDb and give it an 11.

Schindler's list -is- one of the best if not -the best- film ever filmed. If I am exaggerating then I could easily say that it is in the top 5 films of all time, shoulder to shoulder with The Godfather. While The Pianist made me hate the war and realize how horrible a war can be, Schiendler's list made me love the life and realize how valuable and unique each person on this planet is.

I will only say that if you have not seen this film yet, I most sincerely envy you, for there is absolutely nothing that can be compared with the feeling one gets when watching this masterpiece for the very first time.

Did I watch the same movie as you?
5 August 2012
Warning: Spoilers
Because the movie I watched has way too many inconsistencies, the acting isn't terribly good, the characters are shallow etc. Bane is most likely the worst villain I've ever seen. Not only that he wasn't portrayed like Bane from the comics but he's instead a ripped off, bald guy, with a horribly designed face mask, who sounds like a Sean Connery with a speech impediment. Then there's Joseph Gordon-Levitt who was employed in this movie only because he looks very alike to Heath Ledger. Then there's this event where 4000 policemen go into the sewers to make arrest of about 30 individuals. Sure. Once they are released they charge with their 9mm guns into a group of soldiers armed with mini-guns, AK- 47s and cannons and they manage to reach them. Bruce gets his spine broken, and though there's no remedy for that kind of injury known in the modern medicine a guy in prison hangs him into ropes and punches him in the back. Few months later Bruce makes the impossible leap and becomes the second person which managed to escape that prison (the first one was a 10 year old girl!). All in all, this movie is not horrible but is FAR FAR AWAY from the all the 9s and 10s it received. If this movie is rated 9, then The Dark Knight should be rated 25.

A rather disappointing episode
20 April 2012
Warning: Spoilers
There is so much inconsistencies and logical fallacies in this episode that one does not even know where to start.

1. They find a cocoon up in a tree, which implies that some insect dragged the corpse up. It never happened again.

2. After examination, the insects die because of the light. Later on, it is said that the insects don't die in the light but are unable to swarm instead.

3. The group could just have built a fire and survive without much trouble. 4. Couldn't they just turn on the light inside of a jeep?

5. Couldn't they just exposed themselves to the headlights?

6. Did they really think that they'd fill every hole in the wooden house by putting some nylon sheets over the windows?

7. And perhaps the most stupid thing about this episode.. why they didn't just take a repaired vehicle and left like Doug did? It just doesn't make any sense.

I couldn't believe it!
10 June 2011
Few days before I actually saw this film I heard from a friend of mine that it is actually better than a first part. I was pretty skeptical about it. But then "it happened again.." Well I must say that it happened again for me too, as I was very pleasantly surprised. Perhaps it is not as outrageous and mind-blowing as the first part, but it sure made me laugh all the same if not more. As the film was coming to an end I was already pre evaluating it to 8. But one of the last scenes made me rise it by 1. So 9/10 from me. Great job!

All in all, if someone asked me if I'd like a third part of the movie, I'd say yes pretty please with the cream and strawberry on top.
