Roadhouse 66 (1984)
This s movie is great. Very underrated for who was young by the '80s
I think this movie would be considered underrated for everyone who was in college or university by the '80s.
I'm from 76 so was very happy while watching this movie. Despite the simple and predictable history, the movie goes very well without became boring one single moment.
Willen Dafoe, Judge Reinhold and all others in first line are perfect for their roles.
It is very nice the '80s atmosphere of the movie about everyday life issues of people growing ages of that time, in a film almost entirely shoot at outside locations.
If you know what to expect from a '84 road movie about rivals driving supercars around the city and racing on route 66, you must watch this one.
And if you really enjoyed this movie, I strongly suggest you must watch another one very alike: "Roadie" (1980), with Meat Loaf in main role (IMDB tt0081433).
Dr. T & the Women (2000)
If you like Altman, you definitely have to see this.
As a truly fan is very sad to see an Altman movie rated so low, people giving 4 .6 surely haven't no idea at all about what is expected from one Altman's film. This movie is an authentic one, if you are not familiar with his works I would suggest that you rather first watch "The Player (1992)" and "Short Cuts (1993)" and only then come to this another one very alike and great movie, in a way that it should and actually happen to be.
In the documentary "Altman (2014)" one of his widow states that he liked to shoot movies most far as possible from studio walls to avoid have to work with producers in suits at his shoulder and "The Player" became perfect chance to his personal revenge about all things that he always hated from Hollywood, then you hear voices from an interview cut asking him "is The Player your revenge against Hollywood?" so the answer "No, it's a very, very mild indictment. Things aren't really like that, they're much worse".
Seeing Dr. T I was sure that it looks like as another personal revenge but this time against that sort of meaningless, pathetic and ridiculous sort of people society living totally aside of normal person's real world/life, ironically surrounded by another different kind of smart people having to bear and deal with the idiots. So, if you like Altman, you definitely have to see this.
A very serious good movie. Liked of "Der freie Wille" (2006)? You can't miss this one.
Wow! What powerful roles of the crazy couple very well performed by Buckley and Flynn, both all the time with a such anxious facial expression of disturbed persons that makes you uncomfortable.
Very deep in hard feelings about family, love, anger, frustration and mutual understanding as well. If you already seen and liked of Matthias Glasner's "Der freie Wille" (2006), you can't miss this one.
Loving Pablo (2017)
Looks like a very bad remake from Narcos
For whom already watched Narcos serie this movie will be very boring, just a quite bad remake of that great one. How can Penelope and Bardem make part of this sort...
