Lynsey Johnson is an American actress from Indianapolis. She is best known for her role in short, narrative films as "Ava" in Point of View Story films SHAME (2022), HOLD (2023), UNFAIR (2023). The character is best known for her emotional depth and sassy nature within the films.

Johnson was born in Indianapolis to an engineer and a government worker. Johnson's recent ancestry includes Nigerian, Southern Congo, English, and French Canadian ancestors.

Johnson attended Hamilton Southeastern High School, a public district school located in the Indianapolis suburbs. She received her college education at Ball State University, a public secondary school located in Muncie, Indiana. She graduated in 2016. Following her graduation, Johnson worked for some time as an assistant store manager, government worker, and model in the United States. She spent years as a freelance model landing campaigns nationwide before deciding to go for a professional career in modeling in 2020.

Johnson intended to follow an acting career in the early-2000s as well. She had her film debut in various plays and musicals such as "Peter Pan", "The Lion King" and "The Sound of Music", playing lead roles such as Peter Pan, Nala, and one of the von Trapp children. She later continued to remain in the spotlight and went on to perform at her local high school in the school's show choir for the next decade until she graduated.

In 2022, Johnson started appearing as a victim and later a survivor of human trafficking in the short narrative film series produced by Point of View Story Films. The films serve as a healing guide for true survivors as they work through trauma with a therapist. POVS films is one of the leaders in the adoption of film therapy, where survivors work through trauma by watching a film versus strictly through talk therapy. Johnson has portrayed the popular character in 3 episodes and counting. By 2024, Johnson is 30 years old and is just getting started.
