Love You To Death is a really entertaining ride. If you're expecting a standard rom-com, this series is so much more. The humour has a real dark edge to it, especially when it comes to the main female character, Marta. Although she's very self-absorbed and messed up, there's an authenticity to her that's missing in most of these shows.
Occasionally, Love You To Death does veer a little too closely to the standard rom-com format, but all the characters are engaging enough to overcome some of the forced wackiness.
If you're up for a rom-com with a harder edge and some really pointed humour, I'd recommend Love You To Death totally. I'd give it a solid 8.8.
One note - if you're watching this show with English subtitles, like I did, you'll have to be a very quick reader at some points, as the dialogue is very fast-paced. During these sections, it can be a bit frustrating, as you'd like to be paying closer attention to the actors' facial expressions and actions. However, that's simply not possible with the rapid-paced dialogue. Still, there are enough times when the speaking slows down and you get to appreciate how skilled the actors are in all their roles.

There's a little bit of everything in The Gorge - and it all works! It's fitting that it was released on Valentine's Day, as it's first and foremost a romance. Having said that, it's also a thriller, with elements of sci-fi, conspiracy, horror, and more. If that sounds a bit scattered, for me and my wife it was just the right mix. There was always something going on and the interaction between the two leads made for a totally enjoyable experience.
Honestly, I think Apple TV+ could have released The Gorge in the theatres and it would have done pretty well, but they haven't had much luck selling their feature films to mass audiences. That's fine with me, as the occasional movie just adds to the overall value of our Apple subscription, which is worth every penny.
All around, The Gorge is a thoroughly enjoyable movie and a perfect date-night choice.

What a great show! The episodes are short and action-packed, with at least one or two out-of-the-blue twists every episode to keep you riveted to the screen. If someone told me they always knew what was coming, I would be very skeptical, because I found the plot-line to be very intricate and unpredictable.
I watched the original Spanish version with English subtitles, which is my preferred way to view all non-English series. The dialogue does move along pretty fast, especially in the last few episodes, but I don't feel like I missed any of the on-screen action.
If you like shows about morality, vigilantism, justice and corruption, I'd highly recommend this series. It's super enjoyable from start to finish.
