David is without clothes, mens clothes that is,
Amy has booted David out of the room, and sent his clothes to the cleaners, with only a lady's dress and hat, his appearance around the hotel is somewhat hard to miss.
It's a funny start to the second series, and events carry on straight after the finale from series one. So it's all one long holiday, with the couples moving into their second week.
I haven't seen this second run for many years, I had no idea that Amy actually kicked David out. Of course it's 80's sitcom land, so it wouldn't be long before Amy forgave him.
'Ooooh Pretty Lady...' the poor unsuspecting Waiter, that was perhaps the most amusing scene.
Keith Barron looks suitably horrible in drag, some blokes get away with it, some definitely don't.
Good start to the new series.
7/10.

Barbie is a member of a catalogue shopping club, she convinces Joan to join alongside her. Joan's heavily pregnant round and gives her a nice order, when Barbie tells Bill about Joan's order, he misinterprets the message, and tells Eddie.
I think series eight has started very well, considering it'd nearing the end, the quality hasn't dipped at all, if anything, it's picked back up somewhere, this was very amusing.
There's nothing like a good old fashioned misunderstanding to bring the laughs in, and there's a humdinger of a faux Pas here, with Eddie once again getting it wrong.
It looks and feels a little different, we see different shots of the pub, we even see the guys playing darts, that's definitely different.
Eddie scrubs ho rather well, he looks smart in that three piece, and the moustache suits him.

There's a local by election, Eddie naturally wishes for a Labour MP, and gets down to sending out leaflets to the locals, albeit with Joan's help. Bill, naturally does the same for The Conservatives. Eddie is happy, til he sees Labour's Candidate.
I've raced through this show, and can't believe I'm into the final series already, this was definitely a good start to the final run, it had several amusing moments, best of all being Eddie's encounter with the potential new Labour MP.
And to this day, The Labour Party still hasn't had a female leader. We now have taxes, thanks to Rachel Reeves, that are the highest since these days, they're as bad as The Tories.
As always, the joke is on Eddie, he looks very hypocritical here, as always, Smethurst as always is great.
