Dota: Dragon's Blood (2021)
Convoluted plot
I really enjoyed the first half of the series but this second half had me trying to figure out what this has to do with this and that. It's opened ended as the ending seems to lead me to think, so there is more to come, maybe a third series. I watched again the first series to remind me of what I might need to know, which I feel episode #9 started off well and where the first series ended, but from there I just started getting lost. What made it confusing was the cutting in and out of what I thought was the real focus of this part of the series and forcing the elven storyline back in which was slightly benched, even if it was there as maybe a reminder that it's part of the story, I think it could have cut much differently. It made me think the main characters of the elves were going to play into the focal point of the plot but never did. I'm still lost what the dragons have to do with anything. I thought that they were all consumed into one, or the elven wizard, the one in the tower, took their power but then one of those dragons appears at the end and then it just stopped making sense. This review probably makes no more sense than this second series. I apologize if it's confusing. Just to many plot holes I think.
Sword Gai: The Animation (2018)
Second Series
How did this get a second series on Netflix when other shows way better. There have been live action that have only received one series and then cancelled. I don't know if it's better in Japanese but the English dub makes no sense to me. Who are the main characters the evil doctors and scientist or the chrysalis/scioma. It's not adding up. The main character from the first series cuts his arm off that attached itself to his body , then he jumps off a building committing suicide and that's it. I thought they would find a way to fix him but the storyline ends. It's honestly hard to follow what the plot is or what are they trying to get at. It's really not worth you time.
