worst movie ever.
23 May 2012
Warning: Spoilers
This has got to be one of the WORST horror movie I have ever seen in my life, and that is very rare coming from me. I've rated every horror movie I reviewed expect for this one. Alan was the most annoying fatass that got on my nerves. I just wanted to stop watching, but I wanted to see the rest of the movie since i've seen the first three movies. I can't believe it was the sheriff that was angela is the first place. Talk about being weak. I can't believe I watched the entire movie. I think my iq dropped. At least the second one was good, i wouldn't recommend the first or third movie. Trust me, you will thank me. the guy that came back from the first movie is really old and used up looking. Like he's been hitting the drugs hard.

Bully (2001)
10/10
best movie ever
12 October 2007
Warning: Spoilers
this is the best movie ever. Based on a true story about some high school dropouts who is sick and tired of being bullied by Bobby Kent. Bobby beats his friend, Marty, rapes Ali and Lisa. Marty and Lisa get help to kill him, including a hit-man. The first time they were going to shoot him, but they chickened out. After that they got a hit-man. They took him to a deserted place and beat the crap out of him, then dumped him in the water. The problem is, the kids let the guilt get the best of them and blabbed about what happened. The police find out and arrest the kids. They show them in court in the end and they are all fighting because they haven't been able to do their drugs. True fact, all but Marty, the hit-man, and Donnie are still in jail, all the others have been released from jail.

The Devil's Arithmetic (1999 TV Movie)
10/10
an excellent movie
2 July 2007
Warning: Spoilers
I liked this movie much better than Schindlers List. To me that movie was way too violent. Plus I really like Kirsten and Brittney. It's about this rich girl who doesn't want to celebrate the Jewish holidays with her family and drinks to much wine at her aunt's house. When she is asked to open the door for Elijah she goes back in time to learn about what really happened to the Jewish people. What was really sad was how her character died to save her friend that was sick and was said to be sent to the gas chamber. I think it is very sad what they had to go through. Much worse than what blacks had to go through and you don't hear them whining. I would recommend this movie along with The Diary Of Ann Frank. You won't regret it.

Bad Girls Club (2006– )

Very funny show
1 July 2007
This has got to be the funniest shows. I've only seen one(the most recent one with ripsi)season of it. I don't know if there were more than one or not, but I laughed really hard. It's always fun watching cat fights between show. It was like watching the Jerry Springer show. There was always a fight and people badmouthing each other. But hey, that's what people do on and off the camera, except they got paid for it. The road trip isn't nearly as funny as the last season's bad girl's club, but it has it's moments. I do have to agree, Jodie does have a manly looking face and she seems like a tramp. I love how aimee tells it as it is. And Zarah....ROFL ROFL ROFL. Well, we can all write a book about our bad little girl. I can't wait till the road trip is over and they get back to the house part of the show. I know I won't be missing any episodes, thanks to tivo.

Halloween II (1981)
10/10
One of the best sequels ever
30 June 2006
OK, so not many horror movies can come up with a great sequence to a movie. Then came Halloween 2. The BEST sequel ever. It continues from the ending of the original Halloween movies(which gives it extra points). Laurie sends the kid and the neighbor kid that she was babysitting out to a neighbor's house to call the police, not knowing that the "boogeyman" was still alive. He gets up and stabs her and in come Dr. Loomis to shoot him. She is then rushed to the hospital where Michael Myers follows her to kill her. While in the hospital, he kills anybody who gets in his way while he tries to find Laurie. All the deaths are different unlike Friday the 13th who all get killed the same way. When Dr. Loomis figures out he forces the sheriff to turn around by firing a shot through the car window. He finally finds her and is nearly blown up in the last scene. This movie should be viewed by all horror movie lovers. 10 out of 10.

excellent Kellie Martin movie
30 June 2006
This is a movie about a teenager (Kellie Martin) who suffers from manic depression and doesn't trust anybody but herself while she takes lithium. She winds up in the nutfarm after almost dying on the ferris wheel. While at the nutfarm she meets a guy who has problems with anger and his parents. They fall in love and are forced not to see each other. When they can't handle that they break out of the nutfarm taking the doctor as a hostage. They steal his car and have a joyride. They decide to have some fun and explore the world while they have their freedom. They eventually realize they have to deal with their illness and their crimes. A great flick not to be missed. 10 stars out of 10. Kellie Martin, as usual is a wonderful actress.

The best of the 3 series
19 March 2006
Warning: Spoilers
OK, I finally got to see all three of the sleepaway camp either on satellite or DVD. I saw the second one first and thought it was the most awesome horror movie i've ever seen. When I saw the third movie I was a little disappointed, when I finally saw the first one(last of the 3 because it was harder to find)I thought it wasn't too bad. But I have to agree, the second movie of this series is definitely the best. Sleepaway camp left staring at the television set wanting more move more!!! Pamela Springsteen played a good killer and wish she would have been in the first one. In the second one she is a camp counselor after having a sex change operation and turned into a female. She gets rid of the "bad" campers one by one and tells everybody that they were sent home due to bad behavior when they were slaughtered in the most horrible way you could think of. And the best part is, EVERYBODY is slaughtered in a different way, from burning twins alive to the crisp to shoving somebody in a nasty smelly leach filled outhouse. Then Angela acts like everything is OK. Bruce's younger sister did a good job playing miss innocent and quiet. I would highly recommend seeing this movie.

not a bad old time movie
19 March 2006
Warning: Spoilers
This is a pretty good movie considering the age of it. I mean it kept me in suspense. Ellie's mom is murdered in bed with a hammer. Ellie is put in a children's home since she didn't know her father. There she discovers that something isn't right with the place. She sees some kids (who is dead and frozen) but none of the other kids knew about it. She finds a girl tied up in the attic for trying to run away (some dumb ass said it's because she didn't fold her napkin). She tries to run away but she finds a kid's hand that was chopped off by the guy who fixes the place. She screams and runs but the orderly grabs her and puts her in the freezer. A police officer (wearing the scary looking mask)who is in love with Ellie attacks and puts them in the freezer and runs after Ellie. He tells her that he knows that it was her that killed her mother and the only way he won't tell on her is if she marries him. This movie really kept me in suspense. I would love to see it again if they would ever show it on satellite. It seems harder to find older movies like that one on dvds or even cassette tapes. They need to make more horror movies like this one instead of all those computer generated movies. 8 stars for this movie Sonya

Halloween (1978)
10/10
The movie that started it all basically
15 June 2003
OMG, what a classic horror movie Halloween was, which basically started it all. This movie is about the boogeyman aka Michael Meyers who butchers his sister when he was a little kid. Years later on the day before Halloween Dr. Loomis and a nurse goes to the mental hospital to pick Meyers up to take him to a different city for court. When they get there they realize that a whole bunch of crazies are roaming around on the grounds unsupervised. While Dr. Loomis is out of the car on the phone talking to the hospital, Meyers gets on top of the car and attacks the nurse till she gets out and surrenders the car. He then drives away in the car. The next day Dr. Loomis drives to Haddonfield which is Michael's hometown to try to stop the evil from killing. Halloween day Laurie Strode keeps thinking she sees Michael Meyers but doesn't think anything about it. Later on that night she is baby-sitting Tommy Doyle while her friend Annie (who's dad is a cop) baby-sat a girl, I forgot her name in the movie but her real name is Kyle, right across the street. Annie's boyfriend calls and wants her to pick him up so they can have sex so she takes the girl across the street so Laurie can watch them both and goes back to get into her car but realizes the car is locked. So she goes into the house and gets the keys and when she gets back to the car she just opens the door forgetting it was locked in the first place. She gets in the car and realizes that the windows are all fogged up. Michael Meyers pops up from the back seat and strangles her then slits her throat. Of course if she wasn't stupid enough to park in the back seat in the first place somebody would have heard her honking the horn. Later on the other friend played by P.J. Soles and her boyfriend comes to the house where Annie was sitting at and they go to the bedroom to have sex. After sex the boyfriend goes downstairs to get a beer. Why he wasn't smart enough to turn on a light is beyond me. There he encounters Michael Meyers where he gets impaled into the wall with a knife. He then goes upstairs to kill the girlfriend by strangling her while she is on the phone talking to Laurie. Laurie starts to get suspicious and scared so she tries calling back and gets no answer. She then goes across the street to the house and there she discovers all her friends are dead. Michael Meyers then jumps out and attacks Laurie, who then falls down the stairs. She breaks the back door to get out and screams for help with no avail. She runs back to the Doyle's house and gets into the house. Michael climbs through the window and hides behind the couch. All you hear is his loud breathing through his white Halloween mask. Laurie stabs him with a long sewing needle and thinks he is dead. She runs upstairs and talks to the kids. Michael then comes upstairs so she has the kids lock themselves in the room and runs to the master bedroom. She opens the door that leads outside and then runs into the closet. For all who wonder why she did that...would she be a responsible baby-sitter if she left the house with a killer inside and leave the kids alone? Don't think so. She hid in the closet and when Meyers started to chop the door down she grabs a hanger and stabs him with it. A little far fetched true but it got the job done. She then goes to the kids and tells them to run out the Mackenzie's house and get some help. While the kids are outside screaming Michael sits up and gets up and walks to Laurie and attacks her again. Dr. Loomis notices the kids and runs into the house and shoot him till he falls out of the window. When he runs out to see if he is dead or not guess what??? He's not there. He got up and walked away. A good classic recommended on Halloween night. But get the extended version.

Funny movie
9 March 2003
I remember when I saw this movie in the theater. When it came to the part where the movie is all messed up. We were all booing and wondering what the hell happened till my friend told me that it was part of the movie. It sure had us fooled. That is what is so good about this movie. It fools you and keeps you laughing. I especially loved the Cooking With Marge part where she is drunk while she is on a cooking show and all of a sudden the gremlins attack, a fire starts and the sprinklers come on making them multiply. They plot to escape the building once the sun goes down so the humans have an idea of putting a banner down making them think that it's night time when it's not killing them but instead it starts to storm. So Billy tells Mr. Fudderman to spray the gremlins with water. Reluctly he sprays them with water and Billy picks up the phone and gets the electric gremlin out of the phone system and electuctes the gremlins while they sing "New York". I love how one of the gremlins goes,"i'm melting" like the wicked witch in Wizard Of Oz. Anybody who doesn't like this movie doesn't have a sense of humor.

Gremlins (1984)
Gremlins-A great 84 movie
23 February 2003
Anybody who doesn't like this movie just doesn't understand comedy. I thought this movie was excellent. It's about a son who got a Mowagi for Christmas, a cute furry animal that sings. The only thing is there are 3 simply rules you have to follow. Don't get them wet, don't feed them after midnight, and bright light can kill them. Sounds easy enough till he accidentlly spills water on them and instantly 3 or 4 others pop right out his Gizmo (voice by the wonderful Howie Mandel from St. Elsewhere). One night the Mowagis were begging for food, looking at the clock and seeing it wasn't quite midnight, Billy gives in and feeds them some chicken. When he wakes up the next morning they are in a nasty looking cocoon. All hell breaks loose when the mowagi, now gremlins, hatch and the town goes into haywire. They manage to kill all but one of the gremlins, Spike the leader. They trap him in the store and Gizmo saves the day by making the blinds raise showering Spike with bright lights just as he was in some water. 10 stars. Watch the hilarious Gremlins 2

The Good Son (1993)

pretty good movie
14 February 2003
Warning: Spoilers
I really liked this movie. It kept me at the edge of my seat through the whole thing. After David Morse loses his wife, he has to take a business trip so he leaves his son with his aunt, uncle and cousins. At first Elijah (Mark) has fun until he finds out that his cousin Mac (Henry) is really an evil boy who likes to try to kill his family member. I really liked the scene where he throws the dummy over the bridge and it lands on the street causing a really bad accident. Elijah tries telling his aunt and uncle about him but they just think that he is upset over his recent loss. At the end his aunt had to pick between him and her own son. She picks the good kid.

I love you Stephen King
14 February 2003
It has been a very long time since I've seen this movie. I tried to find it at the video store the other day but couldn't find it. It's about a college guy who needs to make some money so he applies at the paper factory or cotton factory, something like that. While cleaning they discover a whole bunch of rat like bats breeding in the basement. Well i'm not going to say anything else or I'll wind up giving the whole movie away. Another good movie from Stephen King. Some people just can't appreciate good horror/thriller.

One of my favorite
12 February 2003
This one is a lot different than the other Friday the 13th movies. Once again Jason comes back to life by being electructed (ok so that wasn't different) and he jumps on a ship and kills two horney teens. He then gets on the s*** Lazurus filled with a whole bunch of kids celebrating their high school graduation. One by one they get slaughtered till what remains get on a little boat and paddle their way to New York. I really thought it was filmed in New York but it was actually filmed in Canada. Imagine that. I like when Jason first gets out of the water in New York and he sees a billboard advertising Hockey. I also liked the way he scared those punks by taking off his mask. I don't remember him looking that bad. I guess it's from being in the water so long. I give it a 9. Had to take off a point for the ending. Not like the other movies.

One of the BEST 80's movies
12 February 2003
This movie will make you laugh and it will make you cry. It's about a young boy who is very unpopular and cuts grass to make money so he can buy a telescope. While looking at the telescope at the mall he sees Cindy carrying clothes to a store trying to return it. He shows her that he has the money so she can replace her mother's outfit only if she acts like they are going out for a month so he can be popular. She eventually accepts his deal and he becomes popular. But his luck soon runs out on New Years Eve at the party when Cindy's boyfriend from college comes home and finds out what she did calling her a prostitute. Cindy tells everybody what really happened and then people shun the nerd again. Just goes to show you money can't buy you everything.

Not that good of a movie
12 February 2003
Warning: Spoilers
I didn't really care for this movie to much. It wasn't really scary to me. It's about 4 kids who decide to spend the night inside the funhouse. Just goes to show you how stupid and irresponible kids are these days. They see a guy get murdered, one of the kids gets scared and drops his lighter giving themselves away. One by one they get murdered. I only saw this movie once and that is all I plan to watch it. 6 out of 10 stars.

The Fog (1980)
Not a bad movie
24 January 2003
I saw this movie on dvd earlier today and I didn't think it was to bad. The ghost's red eyes gave me the creeps. I really liked seeing a lot of stars from the Halloween movies star in this movie. It was about these ghosts led by Blake wanting their gold back that was stolen from them 100 years ago. On St. Antonio's birthday the fog comes in and all hell breaks loose. In the end the ghosts got their gold and killed the sixth consiritor which happens to be the priest.

not one of the greater sequels but still not the worse.
20 December 2002
I doubt you are going to each of my Fridays I written about just to see which one I nominated as the worst but if you are, this still isn't the one. This isn't that bad really. The beginning with the part on how Jason comes back to life is really great and just goes to show how stupid people can be. I'm not going to ruin it due to the fact that many other people already wrote it down under their summary so why bother wasting your time. Some other good parts are the paint ball scene where Jason kills some people who work together while playing paint ball and getting some anger out; a scene where a couple is in a Volkswagen bug and the lady says, "Darren we need to stop and turn around. I've seen enough horror movies to know that anybody wearing a hockey mask with an ax is not good." Of course they get killed in gruesome ways. I liked how they actually had kids as campers in this movie. All the other Friday movies just showed the teens getting the camp ready, but never any kids. I mean Jason actually went into the cabin and a little girl woke up, she closed her eyes, said a prayer, and when she opened her eyes Jason was gone. Then the little girl looked under the bed just to make sure he wasn't hiding. I also liked the female character, which just happened to be the sheriff's daughter, Jennifer Cooke. She was really beautiful. I still give it a 10 for the effort, the beginning, and the end.

Still not the worst in the series
18 December 2002
If you want to know which Friday Movie I nominated you will have to find out by checking out my comments, when I get through all the Friday movies that is. I never really paid attention before so I never thought that it wasn't Jason till not to long ago. I had to rewind it a couple of times and hit the pause button. I don't think it looked like Roy, it looked like that white guy that was in charge of the place. Anywho Roy, who was the ambulance driver, found out that a looney killed his own son who was also in the looney bin, in the middle of nowhere might I add what is up with that? So what does he do? He gets revenge by killing people. One by one all the characters are hacked up Jason style. I just think they went a little to fast with the killings. Expecially when he was in the nuthouse and he kills one person right after another. I don't think the movie is that bad. The next-door neighbors who hated the "crazies" cracked me up. That's my final word *sticks finger up and drives off on motorcycle*. hehehe.

Lucas (1986)
10/10
A very well done 80's movie about life
15 December 2002
I think this is such a good and sad movie that I could never get tired of watching it. Everywhere there is at least one person in each high school who is a nerd trying to fit in with the "in" crowd. Where the "in" crowd torments the living hell out of the nerd trying to fit in. That is what Lucas is about. A 14-year who meets a new girl and befriends her hoping to make her his girlfriend despite that she is 16 years old. When school starts he quits band and decides to try out for football. All the football players except for one,Cappie (Sheen) who is his protector) makes Lucas's life a living hell. Soon the new girl, Maggie (Green) starts to fall in love with Cappie making his girlfriend really jealous. They eventually break up and Cappie and Maggie start going out breaking Lucas's heart. The next day he wants to play football game. He gets hurt and needs to be rushed to the hospital. They try to get a hold of his parents but can't since he is a drunk. When Lucas returns to school he finds a jacket in his locker from the football team. That part really made me cry. I seriously doubt that part would happen in a real school but oh well. 10 stars.

Not the worst sequeal at least
15 December 2002
It could have been better I think. This movie still had good death scenes, nudity for all you perverts, weed and sex. This movie continues with Jason being wheeled to the morgue after his arm falls off when a nurse and the morgue tech. started making out. The nurse leaves and goes back to her duties. Jason kills the morgue tech then kills the nurse. He then goes back to Crystal Lake where the movie focuses on the Jarvis Family and some horny teens renting the house next door. How Jason got all the way back to the Lake from the hospital is beyond me. On the way he kills a fat hitchiker. One by one the horney kids get killed which is no big loss since some of them were annoying anyway. I won't give away the end but I think the part with Corey Haime is kind of dumb. Did he really kill his sister in the hospital? I always thought she survived along with Tommy.

Not that bad of a sequel
12 December 2002
Warning: Spoilers
I will never look at this movie the same again. Did you know the guy who played Shelly (the fat kid who always played the pranks) quit acting and went to become a famous lawyer in California? I think that is so cool. I wonder what he looks like these days. I really wish I could have seen this movie in 3d but since this movie was made in 1982 I wasn't even close enough to be allowed to see this movie. It is never the same when watching it on tape compared to the big screen. I mean you can't really tell much where the 3d parts are anymore. I see a few now and then. Maybe it's because I have really bad eye site for a 27 year old. Who knows? This isn't that bad of a movie really. It could have been better but this WAS made in the 80's people and didn't have the technology back then. It's about some kids going to a house a friend owns. She supposedly survived Jason's attack (which makes you wonder why she wasn't in a previous Friday movie) and is really jumpy about returning. She thinks she sees Jason and doors move by themselves, which would really freak me out. Two of the friends go to town and have a little run in with a motorcycle gang. Shelly runs over their motorcycle and drives away. Later in the movie the bikers came up to the cabin (just wondering how they knew where they were staying at) and sucked the gasoline out of the van. One by one people start to die till there is one person left. I won't tell you who or what happens but it's really good. 10 stars.

Cujo (1983)
10/10
I don't know why they won't approve my summary for this movie.
11 December 2002
Warning: Spoilers
CONTAINS SPOILERS!!!!! Did you know that this movie was made in California? This was a good movie. The Chambers have a dog name Cujo (well duh) who chases after a rabbit. He gets his head stuck and gets bitten by a bat. The dog develops rabies and starts getting irritated by all the noise. Charity Chambers wins the lottery and takes her son to visit her sister. While that is going on Donna has an affair and gets caught. He has to go away on a job trip and leaves uncertain about the future of his marriage. He tells his wife to take the pinto to Chambers house to get it fixed. The car dies and they are stuck. Ok, some moron here said why didn't she stick her foot out and push the car. Hello, are you stupid? The dog is rabid. Would you stick your foot out of a car when there is a vicious animal around that can eat you up in one bite?

While he is on his job trip he keeps trying to reach the house but can't get an answer for days so he comes home to find the house in shambles. A cop goes to the Chambers to see if she is there and he gets eaten. Vic finally comes to the rescue and they live happily ever after. I read this book over 20 years ago and I remember that Tad (what a stupid name by the way) died. I recommend this book. You don't have to be young for this movie to scare you. Trust me, this movie still scares me at parts.

Not to bad of a sequel.
11 December 2002
The reason why nobody knows what happened to Paul in the end is because that little pussy walked out while the film was still filming. He probably was afraid of the big bad boogyman. The hell with Paul, what happened to the guy who stayed at the bar? You know, the funny one who had his friend's truck tow in the beginning as a joke. He cracked me up everytime he was on screen. In the very beginning of the movie Alice, the first and only survivor in the first one has dreams about what happened in the first movie and no sooner finds a head in her refrigerator, she screams, and then gets an icepic in the head. Did notice how the boiling water covered up her scream?

Flash forward to 5 years later where Jason is an adult (remember folks, he was born in 1950 something so he's not a little kid like some of you dimwits think) where there is a different camp opening up across the lake. Here we have fresh meat. I just want to know one other thing, what the hell is a cripple doing in the woods? I think they need counselors who can walk in case of emergency. I loved how he died though. The camera kept changing angles so you never know when, where, or how the crippled is going to die. That must have been scary to go down a flight of stairs in a wheelchair. Good old stunt people, putting their lives in danger for our entertainment. I thought Jason looked really creepy with that bag over his face. You have to watch this movie. Not as good as it could have been, but at least it is much better than some of the sequels. 10 stars

A good start to the series
9 December 2002
I really loved this movie, especially the first time you watch it or haven't watched it in a long time. This movie isn't really a rip-off from Halloween. The little boy in Halloween killed his sister because he was a druid and the evil spirits made him. In Friday The 13th, kids were getting killed as a punishment for having sex when they were supposed to be doing their job watching the swimmers. Because of their hormones, a little boy (Jason) drowned in the lake. One year later 2 kids who were doing, you guessed it screwing their heads off, for having sex. Flash forward to today. Steve Christy wants to open the camp after 10 years for children. Several of camp counselers come up one week early to help Steve fix the place up. When Steve leaves to go to town all hell breaks loose. It starts to storm, strange things begin to happen, and one by one the adults get hacked into pieces. Who will live and who is the killer? Just watch the movie and you will be pleasantly surprised.
