Not to be confused with twist ending.
These photos aren't mine, they're IMDb's. They're hosted on their servers and featured on their pages. All I've done is collected them in one list using IMDb's own tools. I haven't uploaded anything. (Users can't do that.)
If IMDb deletes the list, I'll simply create it again because female nudity is beautiful and hiding it is stupid. And evidently, IMDb agrees with me to some extent.
But I'll be forced to delete the list if IMDb deletes the images themselves from the server. That's the best way to get rid of such lists. Until then, leave me alone.
The Island (1980)
Average movie with a few great scenes
This is an average movie but it has at least two great scenes that I would rate 10/10.
The first one is the deliberately ridiculous, incredible parody scene where the Bruce Lee-wannabe drug smuggler fights with the pirates. I find it funny and entertaining.
The second one is, of course, the massacre scene where Michael Caine's character finally gets the opportunity to annihilate them. What an unexpected and satisfying plot twist! (It wasn't their annihilation that was unexpected, but HOW it was done.)
By all means watch it.
The Prize (1963)
Deserves a Prize
I absolutely enjoyed this 2+ hour-long movie, and the fact that, as others have mentioned, it's inspired by Hitchcock doesn't change anything.
I liked Newman's character. A man who is more interested in women and drink rather than the Nobel Prize, who has a devil-may-care attitude towards everything, decides to endanger his own life when he realizes his colleague is in trouble. Maybe he does it partially because he is bored and partially because he has been writing detective stories for the past few years, but it is interesting to watch his behavior anyway.
Although the plot is pretty simple, there is something that gets you hooked from the very beginning and doesn't let you go until the very last phrase. The film is very interesting, and the supporting characters play a significant role here.
