I won't spoil anything as this is an excellent episode and I'd definitely recommend it. I'm pretty sure you will stay engaged as the "plot" thickens.
So far this series has not had a bad episode. This one, IMHO, is closest to the original Power series.
Not spoiling anything as you get a bit of an idea what this episode is all about. Laverne manages to save Shirley from Lenny & Squiggy's shenanigans.
You can see how the physical comedy kept the gals in great shape.
Cindy Williams, one again, shows her tremendous range. In an interview with Penny & Cindy, Penny mentions Cindy had great range.
Either way they made an excellent team.
This is one of the top episodes of series IMHO.
Marge & Homer
An excellent episode. My favorite from this season after the two part "A Serious Flanders".
Probably my favorite Marge & Homer episode since the flashback episode in season 2......"The Way We Was".
Alice: The Bundle (1977)
The Bag Of Money....
This episode is a lot of fun. Mel & Alice always had good chemistry in the show, especially when there is a fair bit of friction involved. Quite a dilemma for the staff at Mel's.
As the other reviewer stated, Flo is on fire in this episode. Some fantastic one liners. A perfect blend of friction & comedy make this episode a winner.
The First Misunderstanding......
Jack - 'This is going to make you feel sooooo good'
Chrissy - 'Jack, not on the table'
Of course Janet is standing outside the kitchen door thinking Jack & Chrissy are up to some hanky panky......but they are actually feeding the puppy Larry gave to Jack. Jack accepted not realizing the building had a no pet policy.
It is the first time we see Larry (Richard Kline). It was a one off guest appearance but he made such an impression that they asked him if he would be a reoccurring character. At this point we only know him as "honest Larry" the used car salesman. Larry Dallas would be revealed much later.
A very entertaining episode. Janet's response to Mr. Roper eating dog food was hilarious. Mr. Roper asking for the recipe at the end of the show was also priceless.
