Peaky Blinders: Lock and Key (2022)
A Perfect Ending
I feel like around 95% of the stories set up in this season were wrapped up here, I always had faith in Steven Knight. He always finds a way. But wow, That was the first time I ever cried at the show, that picnic scene really got me. I wonder what will happen to Finn though, He needs Tommy to knock some sense into him. The cinematography was beautiful again, Tom Hardy is always a joy to watch, and RIP Michael. I always hoped he could have redeemed himself, but he was coming against a man with "no limitations". I hope Arthur didn't kill himself, however I think he will be in the film so we'll see. Possibly the best way to set up a film, hats off to everyone that contributed to the film... and take a bow Cillian Murphy. Killing it as always. Now go watch the finale if you haven't already. By order of the Peaky Blinders.
A Grand Day Out (1989)
A Milestone For Television
This might quite possibly be the most pivotal moment in television history... It really set the way for shows and films such as Band of Brothers, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and in particular, The Shawshank Redemption. While these are all total, obvious cheap knockoffs, A Grand Day Out will always remain superior to any other show in Television history 12/10 from me!
Shaun the Sheep: Bye Bye Barn (2012)
Perfect, Perfect, Perfect!
I will never forget the moment when it was announced that a record 436 million viewers tuned in to watch this perfect episode. It is the BBC's Magnum Opus, and has really set an example and paved the way for other TV shows that clearly been inspired by it's luring magnificence, (Noticeably Planet Earth I and II, Star Wars, and Marriage Story). While these are all great shows/movies, these have clearly been a hit and a miss when compared to the incredible Shaun the Sheep. I don't want to spoil it for you, so go and watch it to see why it received 7 Oscar nominations including Best Cinematography, Best Original Score and Best Original Script.
Shaun the Sheep: We Wish Ewe a Merry Christmas (2010)
Better than Breaking Bad?
I've watched many shows in my lifetime... Breaking Bad, Peaky Blinders, Game Of Thrones, just to name a few. But the one show that can't be beaten... Shaun the Sheep. This episode really amplifies it's lack of flaws, it has an amazing build up from start to finish. The gut wrenching opening sequence will have you drowning in tears, and the contrasting tone of the 2nd and 3rd sequence will really make you feel overcome with joy and love for those around you. This episode truly captures the Christmas spirit, and yet the underlying truth that no matter how alone we may feel, there will always be someone there for us!
Keeping Up with the Kardashians (2007)
Worst show to exist?
The only "People" who think this show is good are people that think they are like them. They all idolize and fantasize about them and praise them like some sort of good... they will agree with everything they say. Anyone who thinks this is the best show on TV, go watch a non-reality show. Any show will be better than this garbage, I guarantee you!
Peaky Blinders: Gold (2022)
Still the same show...
People are complaining that this show is "losing it's identity", which is a bit over exaggerated. The show isn't getting worse, it's evolving. It's hard to keep it as it was when the show was first set (1919) because this is 14 years from then. The fights in the streets won't happen anymore, times have changed. I love the direction their taking it, however I am a bit worried as we only have 3 episodes left and there are a lot of unanswered questions. Still though, I am faithful in the directors and the writers that they will pull something amazing off as they always have done in the past.
Peaky Blinders: Black Shirt (2022)
Better than the last episode?
I am really enjoying this new season so far, everything about it is excellent. To the people who wished it was still like it was 10 years ago, with the street fights and the simpler story lines - this is just as good. It can't be like the same, because it would get repetitive and the times have changed in the show. There is a 14 year difference between the first season and this one - you can't give it a bad review if you don't understand it. That's your own problem. Overall though, I'm really excited to see where it goes for the Shelby's, I think this could shape up to be the best series yet!
Peaky Blinders: Black Day (2022)
Back With A Bang
Season 6 Picks up exactly where Season 5 left off, with Tommy in the field with Grace and Dangerous. Im kind of surprised he tried to kill himself, even before he found out about Polly (RIP Helen McRory). By the way, that was one of, if not the most beautiful scene in the history of the show. The whole build up to it, and the 3 bodies lying next to each other. Tommy captured the emotions so well, I really cant describe it. While we knew Polly was going to have to be written off, I still can't believe the IRA actually killed her. Polly Gray, the Gypsy Queen seemed nearly as unkillable as Tommy and yet there it was. The whole reveal and the funeral is the best tribute possible... the fire engulfing the cart with Polly and her possesions in it contrasting with the sound of the birds and the forest. I also love how they repeated that sound in the end credits, I simply havent found the emotions to express how I feel about it. I love the direction Tommys headed as well - he seems more clever and cunning when sober. Can't wait to see what's next!
Two More Eggs (2015)
Same Old Charm As Homestar Runner!
I don't know why people are giving this show bad reviews, Honestly it's brilliant! It's all original, innocent, and really quite cute. This would make someone of Any age laugh! Would definitely recommend, great show!
