The story is of small-time crime, but given quite a bit of depth in characterizations by fine Adult actors as well as an interesting flashback structure. Most surprising is Hoffman's tilting the balance toward story, rather than emphasizing sex, sex and more sex in the current porno mode. That tack likely limits the audience, as all-sex is the norm nowadays.
India Summer and Ryan McLane star as a married couple, he being an ex-con who is back to his old ways, planning a jewel robbery caper with their daughter's boyfriend Chad Alva. Hoffman's screenplay presents many double-crosses, twists and turns as well as numerous coincidences en route to a not altogether satisfying ending.
That ending is all that keeps this from being an unqualified success, given the gripping story line and fine acting performances. On the sex side, both India and jail-bait duaghter Jojo Kiss excel in their bed scenes, augmented by tattooed Anna Bell Peaks as another of Chad's girlfriends and willowy blonde Ella Nova as bedmate to the principals' mark, Jay Smooth.
Fans prone to the fast-forward button during acting/dialog scenes (let's get to the sex!) will miss a quality drama unfolding.
