First watched this film as a kid back in the day and ever since then had watched it ritually year after year on X-mas as an adult! This is yet another classic timeless tale done right! Now go watch this!

I'm pretty amazed by some of the low reviews on this film. Grew up watching the original 1966 hand drawn animated Tv movie "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" which is a classic! At first when watching this 2018 film I was very leery and skeptical when I heard the narrator followed by the rapping of the Grinch theme song.. "Oh the cringe!". Luckily it had ended quickly just like dust in the wind.. which was a relief! I liked this movie but went in watching it with a clear conscious and no expectations. As I feel today's animated flicks are either hit or miss! (usually miss)..

This movie is a timeless classic, an they just don't make them like this anymore! If you've never seen this movie your really missing out! Adults - This is one x-mas movie from far left field! Teens - Will dig all of the action scenes! Kids - Probably shouldn't watch this.. but there is far worse out there!

Yes, I would recommend this movie!

This movie was entertaining but felt like it was doing everything within it's power to not feel like a X-mas movie! Now I'm partial to film (the warm feeling) as this movie is straight up digital (the cold feeling).. ugh.. anyways... The cast was good with some well known familiar names. Just feel that this film was going through an identity crisis and Mel Gibson's acting in this one felt so much like Gerard Butler's acting in The Den of Thieves. Worth the watch but definitely not going in the Hall of Fame X-mas movies!

Maybe - would recommend this movie!

I've got mixed feelings on this one. Only having seen pictures prior to watching this I was expecting 3d animation and not clay animation! Also not sure if this was labeled as a film or TV movie? As a TV movie it works! Just like other classic clay animation X-mas Tv movies. As a film though.. it leaves a lot to be desired!

Adults - If you grew up with this movie it's precious.. If not you'll think it's beyond corny! Teens - Your way too cool for this flick.. might dig the costumes though! Kids - Would probably love this movie.. but real young kids might be afraid!

Yes, I would recommend this movie!

This is another one of those flicks you kinda had to grow up around to truly appreciate it. I'd honestly say that this has been one of / if not the best live action fairy tale enactments by Ridley Scott I've ever come across thus far. Also note, that the Director's Cut (European Version) feels like a PG- Rated Fairy Tale. While the US Theatrical Version with the Tangerine Dream score gives the movie a somewhat nightmarish R- Rating vibe. Which leads a person to pure astonishment on how dramatic and impactful a music score can be to a film! Check out both versions!

Adults - If your into campy horror flicks, this ones for you! Teens - Will probably have fun with this one! Kids - Would be fascinated, only it's not recommended due to all of the gore! (Perhaps a PG-13 version or a TV version that's censored would suffice)

Yes, I would recommend this movie!

This is one of those campy horror movie flicks that you should give a watch, only if you've got nothing else to watch! Honestly have some mixed feelings about the film. As I've always been a fan of Clancy Brown. An always have had an attachment to Horror Anthology's ever since I was a kid. This does however feel a bit like a tamer version of the Creepshow tv series. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing! As I'm somewhat biased here, because I'm very partial to traditional 80's and 90's horror films / tv shows / anthology's that utilized practical effects over cgi. But is a comparison that is strictly subjective from ones particular point of view in which they favor more!.. If you catch my drift.. 😉

This is like what Doom is to Wolfenstein in video games, only here it's Halloween to Psycho. Not the very first slasher ever created. But the one that made the biggest road map diversion to the entire genre! Basically becoming the Granddaddy / Holy Grail of the Slashers!

This is one of those films that I've never taken the time, to just sit down and watch from beginning to end. Always seemed to just catch snippets of this movie on Tv or while my mother was re-borrowing it from lour local library. An only til a couple of days ago finally watched it in it's entire glory.. wow!, this movie was awesome! Jack Nicholson killed it! An the actresses all did well on their parts as well! Highly recommend giving this movie a watch!

Saw this movie really young and had nightmares 😨 for a year straight!.. 😂 But still to this day, can agree that this is the horror film that preconditioned myself of not becoming scared of any future horror movies. As horror films involving possession (Exorcist, Evil Dead, Event Horizon, etc..) are most certainly my kryptonite! Making movies consisting of real life killers seem to fall by the waist-side in comparison.

This was and still is my ALL time favorite movie! It's got a bit of everything genre wise. The only flaw/s would be that of the historical inaccuracy/s. But this is a Hollywood Movie and not a Documentary / Autobiography. Probably one of many few movies you'll see get a 10 star rating from me, let alone above an 8.

For the time of the 90's, this movie pretty much had an all around heart-throb cast of well known actors. Remember seeing them in various Film and TV show roles to boot. This is definitely an atmospheric flick with some nice cinematography to just kick back, grab a bowl of popcorn, and enjoy a couple of drinks!

This was a fun film, once I cleared up my mind of constantly comparing the film to the (1990) "The Witches" film. But if you couldn't get out of that comparison mindset you'll most certainly hate this movie! In conclusion, this movie as a standalone film can hold up on it's own.

Remember watching / growing up with this flick as a kid back in the 90's. Which was a film that had become an unexpected treasure of the time. As many people who have become very fond of Jim Henson's movie magic. This was truly a film that I could reflect upon with the characters interactions. An even too this day, still find the Grand High Witch to remain an absolutely creep-ishly terrifying delight!!
